[Open] Let's go (back) to the beach!
🧙 WHO: Everyone invited by this network post
⚔️️ WHAT: Throwing Colette a birthday party!
🕒 WHEN: June 19th
🗺️ WHERE: Beach near Camelot City
⚠️ WARNINGS: It's Colette's Birthday. No getting out of hand, but warnings will be added if they must.
Sunny, clear, bright with calm, but visible waves, all those perfect conditions for a day at the beach.
... Really, he'd been checking to make sure. Meanwhile, he had to trust nothing would happen since Camelot was still right there. Just one day, one day of things staying normal with no interruptions was all he was asking.
Anyway, rental grill and table? Check.
Beach umbrellas? Check.
Extra towels? Check.
Beach balls, floating rings, basically things that said 'beach fun'? Check, check, aannd check!
While Zidane had the bowls, water, and toys for the dogs, Eustace was supplying what they ate (which was for the best), and he's making sure to keep them away from the disposable plates and cold foods so no mistakes were made. If anyone wanted alcohol? Well, that wasn't available - Zidane's only packed water, juice, and some assorted carbonated beverages for those that wanted it. BYOB if one really needs it - heck, he has some pizza on order later for people who'd rather that than the fruits, vegetables, or meat he's cooking up.
All-in-all, should be enough for people to chill out, have fun, and save room for the ice cream cake once it was time to sing 'Happy Birthday'!
[OOC: Dog beach birthday party fun! Heads up, I'll try tagging everyone that top-levels with Zidane since he's hosting so if you don't want a tag, just tell me. Also, have any specific questions? Also hit me up at
demidemonLove. Just final note: blue decorations, and plants present courtesy of Aerith!]

This is. New. It's certainly a change from that for once. Having a normal birthday party. Turning seventeen. What a concept. It's so foreign, at least to her it almost seems like she's just dreaming it when she arrives and sees all this set up.
She'll happily mingle and join in hitting the beach ball around (and probably tripping once or twice in the process.....), thanking everyone for coming and to those that organized it and such. She might get rather distracted petting and playing with all the dogs too, lest she leave one out and they get sad they didn't get pets too.]

Colette.
[Really he doesn't want to take up too much of her time since she seems to be enjoying herself.]
no subject
[Of course he did in being the one to bring the dogs. But still. It isn't like she is necessarily aware of that. She straightens from petting and playing with the dogs, standing and dusting off her clothes as if that might be enough to get rid of the dog hair (it probably isn't).]
Are you having a good time?
no subject
Yes, and it looks like you are as well. I'm glad.
[It's a party for her after all.]

Colette-san! Congratulations on your birthday!
[He gives her a friendly wave and then offers her the small wrapped package.]
no subject
[Maybe she shouldn't be so surprised. They'd mentioned how their birthdays were decently close together and all. Still, Colette does smile and waves in return as he approaches. She blinks down at the present, thankfully not outright crying about it at least as she hides it behind a smile in taking the offered gift. It isn't like she has really done this before.]
Thank you!
no subject
You're welcome! I wasn't quite sure what to get you but I hope that's alright.
[Inside the wrapping is a nearly crafted hard cover journal. It's a light blue colour that almost shines with a twinge of holographic colour.]

Hey Colette! Happy birthday!
no subject
[It's. A lot. More than she could have hoped for in how her birthdays were celebrated. Which might bring to mind wondering how it might be back home next time she has one but. No, she shouldn't dwell on that in missing the others. Instead, she smiles and thanks him, telling herself to enjoy this that everyone here had shown up and all in getting this together for her.]

/rolls in late with Starbucks
His best being showing up late, not dressing for the beach, and hanging around in the shade while trying not to look like some awkward weirdo. He bought a present, at least, he got that part right. He manages to catch up with Colette while she's playing with some dogs. Where did all of these dogs even come from??? Y'know, it's probably not important.]
Happy birthday. You seem to be enjoying yourself.
It's okay RL happens.
I am! Are you? I'm not sure how many I've met here you also know....
[But at the same time. He's taken to keeping an eye on her so she isn't surprised to see him, even if this might not usually be his thing.]

Arrives with multiple empty Starbucks
He does have a simple paper-wrapped gift tucked against his side! (It's a solid box shape, so no easy hints yet.) And he'll get around to giving it properly! Just... gotta pet those doggos first. ]
It's fine!

Got the idea from Maribelle when we went out for lunch once. Nice little snack to go with everything else here.
[Just don't mind how tired she looks, the yawn not helping her case. At least she was a good cook.]
no subject
Not a bad idea! Anyway, welcome to Colette's party! You found the food, drinks are over there, games are under that tree, towels can be set up under the umbrellas, and the dogs are around!
[Eustace was keeping a watch on them really.]
no subject
[Training, training, and more training was usually her schedule. Well until Caster ruined things for her a bit. Maribelle really had a good point about not being social enough.]
