⚠️ WARNINGS: It's Colette's Birthday. No getting out of hand, but warnings will be added if they must.

Sunny, clear, bright with calm, but visible waves, all those perfect conditions for a day at the beach.

... Really, he'd been checking to make sure. Meanwhile, he had to trust nothing would happen since Camelot was still right there. Just one day, one day of things staying normal with no interruptions was all he was asking.

Anyway, rental grill and table? Check.

Beach umbrellas? Check.

Extra towels? Check.

Beach balls, floating rings, basically things that said 'beach fun'? Check, check, aannd check!

While Zidane had the bowls, water, and toys for the dogs, Eustace was supplying what they ate (which was for the best), and he's making sure to keep them away from the disposable plates and cold foods so no mistakes were made. If anyone wanted alcohol? Well, that wasn't available - Zidane's only packed water, juice, and some assorted carbonated beverages for those that wanted it. BYOB if one really needs it - heck, he has some pizza on order later for people who'd rather that than the fruits, vegetables, or meat he's cooking up.

All-in-all, should be enough for people to chill out, have fun, and save room for the ice cream cake once it was time to sing 'Happy Birthday'!

Ah! I missed it? Or was it back home just before you got here or something? I should make a note of everyone's birthdays.....

I'm not as good at baking as Genis with his cake and cookies, but I can try!

[It's a good point though. She's not sure if Kratos and Emil, or more, Ratatosk really celebrate theirs if they even remember given how old they were by this stage. But her other friends here, at least. She could check with them to see. When their birthday was so she could make a list and prepare them a little something for the day.]

Aw. I won't arrange anything like this but. I can at least bring you a little something when yours comes around again?

[She doesn't want to push, to make him uncomfortable or anything. But, well. He went to this effort for her. She just wants to do the same back. Even if not with a party like this necessarily. But just so she could get him something nice or make him a treat he might like.]

It might not be needed but that doesn't mean you might not want or like it anyway? I mean. I wouldn't force anything, but. I just figure. You went to this effort for me. I'd like to do something in return for you.

[Though she might come up with something besides cake since he isn't as much a fan of sweets as she is. But still. It's only fair? That she figure something for him in exchange. She considers this as she has another bite, another mouthful of the cake.]

[ So that she would eventually return the gesture? No, that's not why Bakugou ended up bringing something this day. It's... Well he doesn't really know why honestly. He felt a little compelled so he just did it.

Maybe because someone else had decided to come as well? And honestly Blondie really isn't all that bad. ]

[She still wants to try do something in return if she can. If she thinks of some alternative to baking him something. Maybe she could ask around. She might not be the most subtle but he probably has other friends that would know him better than she did. They might be able to help her think of something to do for him.]

[ There. She got it out of him. Maybe because her eyes are so damn bright and earnest. Maybe because she's genuinely a decent person and somehow Bakugou must apparently have a weakness for those things? ]

Oh that gives me plenty of time to try figure something then! I mean. Um. Assuming we're both still here then.

[Because it's hard not to be aware that some do seem to leave. She assumes in going back home. But Colette tries to be optimistic in things working out in the end, regardless of how long they might be here before going back. And if she would want to go back, well. She assumes a lot of others probably do too. Still, she gives a nod in making note of the date, clapping her hands together or at least as best she can while still finishing the slice of cake.]

[ That's the thing, isn't it? "If we're both still here." Because that might not be the case. Even after that, it might not even be home that they are sent to. It could be that they find themselves in yet *another* new place. ]

No way of knowing any of that. But you know the date. Do whatever you want with it.

[At least now she knows. She can have plenty of time to try come up with something for it. If they will both be still around in Avalon at that point. So she isn't too worried either way. There were months off yet before his birthday anyway. Colette gives a nod, thanking him again for the cake.]
