It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!


i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

iv. You're a Sky Full of Stars (stargazing and camping out on the beach)

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

Stay Hydrated
[Perhaps it should have been alarming when the ammunition was laid out alongside the cool drinks, but really, water-based competitions were inevitable. So when a water gun is placed in his hands, a determined look forms on Tokoyami's face as he readies his weapon.]

So, it seems it is our fate to clash here. So be it. I will not hesitate against you!

[For the first little while Tokoyami will be spraying at others with the provided water gun, or with supporting splashes from Dark Shadow (though, Dark Shadow is really mostly here to splash around and have fun, so he's not really in the full combat). But as the "battle" draws out, it might seem like the elemental-based magic-users have the upper hand. But just because one doesn't have elemental magic doesn't mean they're out for the count! Those who were paying attention might notice that Tokoyami disappears for a little while, only to soon breach the waves as a mean-looking shark! A shark that will nudge at people with his snout or try to bump them and knock them over, or even just give them a spook and throw them off their game. He's not gonna bite, but he will try to help his team get the upper hand!]

Nitty Gritty
[When the water antics are finished, Tokoyami will make his way back to the beach for some more calm activities. He will definitely take some time to rest under the umbrella and sip a cold drink, especially when the heat begins to build from the afternoon sun. But if needed, he can be pulled into building a sand castle with others, and will help out with either the actual sand-building or with fetching more water or finding rocks and shells for decoration. Later on he'll wander off down the beach to go scour the shoreline or look for tide pools, looking for unique seashells and dark-coloured stones to take home. Why not join him on his quest?]

[For anyone staying near the umbrellas, whether they be for their own relaxation or because they were placed under the Time Out Umbrella (of Shame), Dark Shadow can be found under the umbrellas when the sun is at its peak and the heat at its highest. The beach is fun, but sometimes it's a little too bright for him.]

Late Night Bonfire
[As the sun begins to set and energy begins to deplete, people naturally begin to congregate around the bonfire. Tokoyami is one of those who do, dutifully roasting marshmallows to make a few s'mores for both himself and Dark Shadow. His wayward shadow seems positively delighted to be able to try some s'mores and barbecue, even if he strictly doesn't require the food himself. He's just happy to partake!]

[Though as the shadows grow longer and darker, and stories begin to be told around the campfire, Tokoyami crosses his arms and closes his eyes, listening ]

That is truly a chilling tale... but I believe I know one that is much more frightening. One that can strike fear into the hearts of the bravest or men. I could share it... if you are brave enough to hear it.

[Dark Shadow, meanwhile, isn't really listening to the story and is just trying to snag a few more marshmallows from people. Though given the spooky stories being told, it might shock some people to suddenly see a pair of glowing eyes and a shadowy hand reaching for their s'more.]

Stargazing
[When night truly falls and it's time to go to sleep, Tokoyami will lay out his provided sleeping bag and lay back with his head poking out of his tent, taking in the beautiful night sky. Dark Shadow is curled up on his stomach fast asleep, and he idly runs a hand through the shadow's crest as he watches the stars above. A smile forms on his face, and he speaks softly, both to himself and anyone who might still be awake.]

This... was a good idea.

[Izuku was of course up a caught up in the entire water balloon and water gun competition. With all his might (ha ha) he had fought to secure victory in the war and soak as many of his classmates for points as he could. But with that all finished it's time to cool down and have a sip of lemonade and build some pretty epic sandcastles.

Izuku isn't the most crafty person but when he gets into a project he really gets into the project so the sandcastle that he's building is getting a little... large.]

If I build the castle walls this way it should help keep this side of the castle fortified from enemy attacks...

[Mutter... Mutter. It's not a real castle, nerd.]

Nitty Gritty

[From the moment that Tokoyami showed up with Dark Shadow in tow, Ochako had all but lavished attention and affection on the wayward shadow, overjoyed to see her favorite shadow demon here. Honestly, it's just such a delight to have him around at all, even if he's apart from Tokoyami physically, it's nice that he's here. And, of course, nice to just be together and have fun with everyone like this. Fells like it's something really, really needed.

So, as she's checking on everyone to make sure no one's getting dehydrated, sunburned (or bullied), or anything like that, Ochako spies Tokoyami and Dark Shadow under an umbrella, relaxing together, though the latter looks a bit worn out. Aww, that's right...he doesn't do so well in the blazing sun. Ochako kind of forgot, and goes to sit by the two.]

Hi, Tokoyami-kun, are you having fun? [And then, looking to Dark Shadow, reaching a hand out to pet him.] You too, Dark Shadow, are you doing okay in the sun?

Bonfire... I wanna hear that d&d story

[ With Momo's Creation quirk gone, she actually needs to be careful about watching her figure, now that her extra lipid cells aren't being converted into items. That said, she still allows herself to indulge every now and then, so she's treating herself to a s'more or two while sipping her thermos of tea. She even sneaks an extra few marshmallows to Dark Shadow as she listens to Tokoyami begin his tale, enraptured. ]

I want to hear it! I think I'm brave enough.

[Truth be told? Class A's resident scaredy-cat isn't listening to the stories, no matter how well they're told.
Maybe it's not surprising that Jiro can't handle ghost stories, considering how bad the test of courage back at training camp really got to her... but it means she's done her best to sit somewhere at the fringe of the group, trying to stay as focused as she possibly can on her marshmallows to keep herself distracted.
It makes her a prime target for losing a s'more or two. ... And it means she's the worst person to jumpscare, too.

Seeing the shadow's hand is enough to get Jiro to jump and yowl in fear, fumbling with her stick before she brings it up to her face almost in defense - the shock's even enough to scare the Blood magic out of her, some small, red needles suddenly poking out of her shoulders like a pufferfish.]

[ Of course Bakugou is the first one that will have to utilize the "time out umbrella" for being a little rough. That's fine. He didn't want to be out in the stupid water anyway.

So you know what? He'll sit here. Mind his own business. Just don't try to get him to play anymore! No one wants him to go all out.

It's fine. He'll plop down and own this umbrella space. ...Just look at him. He's such a big target. ]

[ Once the ingredients and the food started to come out of course Katsuki would be too. There's a lot of things he is and isn't... But allowing someone to cook for him when he thinks he can do a better job? Well... Whoever is at the grill is going to get shoved aside. Bakugou is going to take charge. ]

If you're just going to stand there then you're gonna help!

[ Or. You know. You'll get roped into following the dictator's directions on what to do next? ]

[ There is no snacking on sweets for Bakugou. Nope. He doesn't much care for them unless someone thought to accommodate him. Instead he'll continue to much on hotdogs while everyone is chitter chattering away.

Then, out of nowhere, he stands. It's that time. Without so much of a word, Bakugou starts to move towards the tent that he had set up earlier in the day. Looks like he might be trying to escape for the night without participating in any family funatics.

Gonna let him get away that easily? ]


( Star Light Star Bright )

[ Okay. So getting Bakugou out to see the stars is going to take a bit of work. Why? Because he's pretty much already asleep. Now a comfortable sleep is debatable considering what his sleeping arrangements are like Now people have witnessed sleepy!Bakugou. Everyone knows what he's like when it's time for him to turn into a pumpkin.

...But does anyone dare to wake him up? ]

Gay Baby Jail/Time Out Umbrella

[He is such a big target indeed. Ochako really does try to be kind to him this time around, trying not to instigate anything because things have been a bit...rocky with her and the blond (as well as Izuku, too), but in all honesty? Ochako needs a bit of that normal back in her life. Plus, she just...really misses being around the blond before all the stupidity with the dopplegangers and the asinine trials started. She wants to treat him like her best friend again.

...Even if it is, slightly, at his expense.]

Bakugou-kun!! [Ochako is waving with one arm as she comes up, dressed in a simple bikini where the to part is mostly covered by a baggy T-shirt, which uh...also covers most of a pretty ugly looking scar on her mid-section.] Ehehe, you look saltier than the ocean - do you want something to drink?

[It might be a bit of a surprise to the group that it's actually Izuku who pops up from his spot as soon as they start noticing Katsuki trying to escape. He quickly calls out to him and follows with a furrowed brow.]

K-Kacchan! Wait!

[There might be a bit of tension in Izuku. Only because the last set of trials had Izuku and Katsuki deal with a certain set of poisoned cups. And Izuku had to witness something that bothered him worse than ever.]

The fire's still going, you're not leaving already? It's been a while since we've all gotten together like this.

[ Bakugou may be the grill master of their little gang, but providing the beverages is all Momo. She brought thermoses of various juices and colas with her, and is using her alchemy kit to brew some sun tea out of some tea leaves and herbs she had brought along for the occasion. She works diligently, humming a quiet tune to herself as she sets up shop next to Bakugou. ]

Just 'cause I'm over here doesn't mean I'm some kinda lackey, Bakugo! What if I was over here to help out Yaomomo or something!?

[... And yet she's wandered closer so she can take any orders he's got to give.
Her maxed-out ability to cooperate is both her blessing and her curse, especially when Bakugo's involved.]

[Bakugo isn't the only one who's at the umbrellas. Though while he's under the Umbrella of Shame for roughness, there's another who's there just because it's just too darn bright out! So while Bakugo might be sitting and pouting, a shadowy snout will turn his way as Dark Shadow peeks out from his own umbrella.]

Momo is ready and prepared for the beach, having gone shopping ahead of time as she is wont to do and picking up a new swimsuit and sun hat. She comes laden with a large duffel bag, almost big enough to call a suitcase, full of purchased hors d'oeuvres and thermoses of various drinks. Throughout the day, she'll be using her alchemy kit along with some dry ingredients to brew a few different flavors of sun tea, supplementing with her elemental magic to provide the ice to keep it cool and refreshing. Occasionally, she'll take a break to participate in a bit of swim races, or to play some beach volleyball.

The main attraction of the day, however, is the elaborate sand castle that she spends the majority of the afternoon creating. It's several meters wide, and a few feet high, with different layers of walls and turrets, and even a functioning drawbridge she fashioned out of a piece of driftwood and some seaweed. Okay, yes, she may have used her magic to cheat, a little, but would she really be Yaomomo if she didn't have the biggest, best, most fancy sandcastle on the beach?

[For a little while, Jiro was spending time on her own to comb the beach while others played in the sand. Just looking for neat shells or cool rocks to bring back, ending up with a pile of driftwood in her arms to match with it all.
And as she walked back, she found herself walking alongside what seemed to be a giant sandcastle... at first, she thought for sure this had to be something her classmates had been working on together - how else could something this big exist otherwise?

But of course... seeing Momo working on it on her lonesome quickly dashes that idea. Of course it's Momo. Why is she surprised?]

Hey, Yaomomo! You, uh... look like you've been busy?
I guess you might not need any help, huh?

[Okay, look. Maybe she brought some of these shells and driftwood back to make a castle with Momo. Maybe.]

[What happens when two alchemists decide to play some beach volleyball? Would they end up changing the components of the ball every time they pass it over the net? Well, only one way to find out-! Izuku is out for the fun in the sun with everyone else, holding a volleyball in his hands and occasionally throwing it up into the air and catching it. If Momo is around he'll give a friendly wave.]

Sand Castles

[The voice is soft and airy, but also has a slightly dark edge to it as Ochako strides forward, a bit of a pout on her lips as she looks over her friend and the very fancy sand castle she's making with a scrutinizing look. As absolutely beautiful as the work is, rules are still rules!! It's not exactly fair for those without elemental magic, or alchemy magic to make such detailed works on their own, so that's why Ochako put the rule in place. And really!! The Vice Class representative?? Cheating?! For shame.]

You're not using magic, are you? [Ochako's eyes flicker to the Time Out Umbrella (of Shame).]

Stay Hydrated

Sunblock? Check. Food? Check. Water-gun? Double check. Froppy is locked and loaded, and she's ready to go. And she isn't alone. She's an absolute menace, roaming around the 'battlefield' with several small beach faeries that she's befriended...each one of them armed with a small squirt-gun and their own magic.

One, Two, Froppy's Coming For You. And she's all too happy to pop out of the water, spraying as she goes!

Nitty Gritty

Somehow, and perhaps unsurprisingly, Tsuyu's invitation of her fae friends has backfired and she finds herself currently stuck inside a cocoon of sand. Laying down to take a nap in the sun was probably a mistake!

"Hey! Can someone get me out?"

She could probably do it herself, but, eh. Why not.

Sky Full of Stars

It's not as though a beach day is a new, or particularly crazy experience but there is something interesting about sitting out on the beach, looking up at an alien sky and thinking about it. Really thinking about it. The stars are different, and the stars aren't the ones they know, and that...well...that has Tsu feeling a little more introspective.

"...So..." she murmurs to anyone sitting near her, "...What do you think of this place, really?"

Armed and dangerous with a few water balloons floating behind her and a fully pumped watergun in her arms, Ochako is ready to do some damage!! She could easy(??) use her elemental magic to spray and splash people with water, but considering it wears her out quickly, and the, uh...messy side effects that mimick her quirk, best not to overdo it. She hears the faeries chittering and rounds just in time to squeak as Tsuyu pops out of the water and soaks her instead.

"Aaahhh!! Hahaha!! Tsu-chan, no fair! A sneak attack!" Laughing loudly, Ochako's going to try and get her friend back by aiming a stream of water from her squirt-gun right at her!! Have at thee!

Stars;

[Looking up at the sky, Jiro can't say she recognizes any of the stars, either... but that could be said, even back home. She only knew one or two constellations off the top of her head, could maybe point out Sirius if she thought hard enough about it, but really?
Two skies full of stars look alike, to her.

But that doesn't mean she isn't thinking about it, herself. Tsu's question gets her a little off-guard, but it's enough to get her to look back up at the sky and think.
She rubs the back of her neck, getting an unsure expression on her face.]

This place? Ah, well... I mean, it's been nice, I guess. Kinda like a weird vacation.
It's good we're kinda prepared for how weird everything gets, since home was pretty weird, too...

[Izuku is just sitting down next to the bonfire nearby with a bottle of juice in his hands when she asks her question. Izuku looks up at the sky that is so far away from home and he takes it into consideration carefully...]

... I don't know. We've been away from home for a while now, but I don't mind it.

[He's been away from home longer than the other students but... He doesn't mind this place. It's better than the last one he was in. But he also worries about home all the time- so he's half and half about everything.]

I like learning about this place. There's something exciting about it all?

[Fortunately for Tsuyu, there is someone nearby who hears her calls. The sand crunches beneath his feet as Tokoyami approaches, looking down at her with a frown.]

Tsu may have the advantage of numbers, but Momo's defense game is on point. As soon as she hears her froggy friend pop out of the water behind her, she instinctively uses her elemental magic to throw up a wall of sand between herself and Tsu's water gun blast.

What she doesn't count on, is the faerie friends sneaking around to shoot her from behind.

[Rumors going around some teenagers Toga happens to know are out on the beach having fun. Toga is both envy and jealous, and guess what, maybe she'll happen to join too! And she will, wearing a swimsuit. If there are any large rocks nearby in the waters, Toga is creeping behind it, watching from a safe distance. Why is that?

Well, Toga uses her kinetic magic to move a fin-like shark on the water creating an obvious illusion. So there goes the fin, zipping nicely through the water and towards some of the kids she likes. At least it's a harmless prank. Time to hear some screams.]


b. TIME OUT UMBRELLA.

[After the fake shark alarm, Toga is under the umbrella. Call it an initiation, or so she tells herself, complying a little bit with them. Whether it was someone's idea or hers, Toga is playing by the penalty rules. Now observing them, waiting for someone to relieve her from this hot torment or.. possibly chill with someone else suffering the same fate.]

c. Nitty Gritty.

[Whether she's still welcome or not, Toga still hasn't left the beach. Instead, she's chilling on a long chair relaxing under the sun, shades on. Chill with her, have a hotdog or two with some refreshments. Toga looks relax, either watching everyone like a creep or actually taking a nap.]

Time Out Umbrella

[In all honesty, Ochako is not pleased that Toga is here at all. She genuinely had no idea the girl had even arrived, honestly, amidst all the other goings-on and garbage she's had to deal with mentally and emotionally. With all the horseshit surrounding the dopplegangers and fakes, seeing Toga struck a nerve like nothing else, and Ochako was keen to avoid contact with her entirely...or plainly just throw her out, but her other friends are more amicable it seems.

Still. Ochako's been watching the girl like a hawk since the moment she arrived and spooked someone with her little prank, and though she's...behaving, right now anyway, Ochako's still saltier than the sea itself as she feels the girl's eyes on her from under the umbrella. She...really wanted to have fun here. To relax and reconnect with her friends and classmates. Now she's just getting tired again from having to worry about if Toga will do anything funny.

But it's one girl. Just one. Against how many of them? Toga's not stupid enough to try any funny business when probably all of them are on high alert now that she's here. She must know that, too.]

I really don't know why you even showed up here. [A can of cold lemonade is being shoved rather unceremoniously in the girl's face as Ochako approaches.] Everyone here is a Hero trainee at UA, and knows what sort of person you are...so I don't get why you'd want to hang around any of us.

[At least after getting caught and not fucking off then and there.]

i. Stay Hydrated

[This was such...a good idea. No doubt everyone's been having a month, and for Ochako, well...it's been several Months. Some relaxation and togetherness with her very best friends and classmates is definitely something she needs right now. It's perhaps the first time she's genuinely laughed and felt like herself again, for more than just a few minutes. This sort of thing really makes her feel like she's home again. It's nice.

So, with a simple bathing suit of her own (which only partially covers a nasty looking scar on her side, a little below her ribs), Ochako is enjoying the salty water as much as possible. Catch her floating about on an inner tube, relaxing, or partaking in some aquatic hijinks. Ochako is armed and DANGEROUS with her water gun and a few plump water balloons floating after her with her kinetic magic keeping them aloft.

And sweet, cute, kindly little Ochako...

Is a monster on the battlefield.

A-At least when things really start to heat up. She goes for the face and head with the water balloons, and spouts of water from her soaker are aimed right at the chest and back. She may even use a bit of her elemental magic when her gun is out of water, balloons used up, just to give her that edge again. Her competitive nature has kicked into overdrive, and Ochako is here to kick some booty.]

TO THE DEPTHS WITH YOU ALL, WAH HAH HAH HAH!! [She's, uh...taken a leaf out of Iida's book with her villain impression, maybe. It's quite comical.]

ii. Bonfire

[FOOD! GLORIOUS FOOD!!

Of course Ochako is sampling all the delectable grilled foods as the bonfire flares to life, loading up her plate with saucy kebabs, hot dogs, and maybe a burger during the later night. This girl loves to eat, and is not shy about it!! She's sitting on a chair by the bonfire, kicking her feet happily, munching on her goodies and humming along to whatever song is being sung as well. Those s'mores are kind of like mochi... At least when they stretch and are sticky and gooey and--]

Mmmmhh...sho goofd!

iii. Sky Full of Stars

[The night is calm, peaceful, restful...quiet.

Or, well...it would be if one particular space nerd would actually shut up for even a singular minute. Ochako is craning her head back to watch the dazzling beauty of the millions of stars overhead, her eyes shimmering with the love and adoration she has for the cosmos. It's amazing she hasn't inhaled a bug with how often she gasps or exclaims something suddenly, or when she jumps up and points out when one of the stars streak across the velveteen blackness of space.

With so little light pollution in Camelot, the night's sky is far more vivid and beautiful than it is back home, and Ochako is really soaking it all up, a light flush to her pink cheeks as she tries to find constellations she knows, or planets, similarities in the moon...anything.]

Uwaah...look at them all!! You can't get a good view of space like this back in Musutafu - it's too bright. I-I've always had to go far, far away into the countryside for views like this. Ah!!
