[CLOSED] - Party on the beach where the fun is free...

⚠️ WARNINGS: Wacky shenanigans, Bakugou's potty mouth, overwhelming cuteness, BATHING SUITS?? Scandalous.

It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!

i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

iv. You're a Sky Full of Stars (stargazing and camping out on the beach)

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

[Aww...poor Dark Shadow!! Ochako looks at him sympathetically, scritching under his chin gently. She didn't think of how he'd be unable to have much fun while it was daylight out.]

The sun will go down soon, Dark Shadow...then you can come and join everyone else for games and other fun things, too! [Just gotta be patient and wait a little bit. Or, if they get a little lucky and a cloud passes overhead for a few minutes. Turning back to Tokoyami, Ochako smiles and nods again.]

Mm!! I'm having a lot of fun! I'm really glad we could get everyone out here together like this!! It feels like so long since we've all been together...I really miss it sometimes. [The 'dorm feel' they had back at UA - never being too far from one another. It felt nice.] Plus, it's just nice to do something less crazy for once, you know? Get to relax a little bit.

[Dark Shadow nuzzles into that scritching.]

I can't wait!!

[Tokoyami nods, leaning back on the towel he was sitting on.]

You are right. Even with me being here for a short while, an event like this helps things to feel a little more stable. A little more like they do back home.

Ehehe, just make sure not to go wild or anything, you know.

[Ochako grins, giving Dark Shadow one final pet before she sighs and stretches out, laying back on the beach blanket with her arms folded behind her head. Man...maybe she ought to just lay here a while and get some sun? Take a little snooze? That kind of sounds lovely...she's been playing and running around a ton with everyone else.]

Yeah, I agree...feels a lot like when we have our rest days, you know? [There's a hint of bittersweer longing there. She misses being back home, where things are a little more 'normal' indeed. Things she knows how to deal with and mentally prepare herself for. This world is just...so different.] Weird to say, but I miss going to class. I can have rest days all the time if I don't do quests, but then I get bored...and it's not really the same. Ehehe, I guess I'm just a little homesick, and being together with everyone reminds me how we were always together back there.

But I don't want to bring everyone else down when we're supposed to have fun, so...it's fine this way, too. I'm happy. I like seeing everyone here laughing and smiling. [And she does mean that sincerely.]

I won't!

[Not that Dark Shadow really can go wild here, but, details.]

[Tokoyami nods, humming in agreement.]

Funny how when you are removed from a routine how you miss it, isn't it? I don't think there is anything wrong with being homesick, even with everyone here.

[Heck, he feels homesick and he's only been here a couple months. He can only imagine how Ochako feels.]

I do not think you're wrong, thinking that way. But that just means moments like these are times we should cherish, doesn't it? It won't replace what we lost back home, but it can fill that void in our hearts.

[Ochako nods, then sighs a little bit. It's sort of a relief that others feel the same way she does in regards to being away. Ochako knows that everyone is, for the most part, safe back home, but also...they're not progressing. Not growing. They're stuck in a frozen timeline of nothingness until everyone sorts of this weird catastrophe that's supposed to happen or whatever the hell.

This place is nice and all, despite it's many dangers, but it's not home. It will never be home. It should never be home. Ochako...doesn't want to grow old here.]

Yeah...you're right. Seeing everyone laughing and smiling like this, right now... [She sighs and sighs up, hugging her knees and fondly looking out at everyone having a good time.] It reminds me why I wanted to be a Hero to begin with. To make sure everyone keeps smiling like this - carefree and happy. I want to be someone that can protect this happiness.

[Tokoyami hums in agreement, nodding to her. It's a nice bit of familiarity in a situation that is far from familiar. Because Tokoyami knows how important it is to return home, especially knowing what he knows. But moments like this help to at least remind them of the happier times, rekindle their passions and strengthen their bonds.]

If we remember times like this, then it will carry us forward in our path.

[He turns to look at everyone else having fun and yelling at each other good-naturedly.]

I don't think I've said this, but I believe you will make a fine hero, Uraraka-san.

[O-Oh?? Oh, that's quiet sudden, and makes Ochako sink into herself a bit as her face heats up red hot. Gosh!! Genuine and sincere compliments!!! It's like Tokoyami knows Ochako's one true weakness or something!]

A-Aah...th-thank you, Tokoyami-kun... [She's holding her face to try and hide her deep, scarlet blush, rocking back and forth a bit in place. Ochako's confidence hasn't ever been great, so getting such kind words like that is always such a shock. Pleasant, and make her heart swell, but still a bit of a shock.] I know we're all going to be great heroes someday. You too!! You've already improved so much! You and Dark Shadow!!

[Ochako giggles again, giving the little shadow some more cuddles. it's a joint effort, surely, and she can't compliment one without complimenting the other!]

I hope we can all return home soon...

[He sees her sink into herself a little, and for a moment he's briefly startled. Oh no, did he say something wrong??]

I-It's just that you are strong in your conviction, and have a firm grasp on what drives you to be a hero! Which is why I think you will do well as one..!

[But ah, it looks like she's okay. He clears his throat and looks away, and he may be blushing a little under his feathers.]

T-Thank you, Uraraka-san...

[Dark Shadow, meanwhile, nuzzles right against Ochako as she pets him.]

The continued deluge of sincere and thoughtful compliments makes Ochako squeak a bit more, her own blush spreading from just her cheeks to the tip of her nose and ears. Ugh, why are her friends just so dang wonderful and sweet?? She literally cannot take it sometimes. Poor Dark Shadow, he might be accidentally getting a bit of the air squeezed out of him where Ochako hugs him a bit tighter.]

Tokoyamiii...y-you're really, um...t-too kind. Both of you are. And that's why I think you're going to be just as incredible!! You're smart, strong, and really, really caring, just like any good Hero should be, Tokoyami-kun. And I think...I think you're going to be the kind of Hero that shows people that the dark isn't always so scary, and that cool and beautiful things can be found in it, too.

Ehehe, that's the sort of feeling I get when I look at you two.

[Dark Shadow is more than happy to get a little squeezed, because that means tighter hugs!! More hugging is good!!]

[Tokoyami, meanwhile, blushes harder at all of the compliments that Ochako is sending his way. He coughs a bit, clearing his throat.]

Such words... I am merely trying to do what I believe is best as a hero...

[He's not used to such heartfelt praise and compliments!! So he's actually quite unprepared for it, and flustered by them.]

Well, I think you're doing great!!

[Ochako pumps her fist in the air! She wholeheartedly believes that each and every one of their classmates and friends can and will become wonderful heroes and people. It's just that getting there is going to be difficult. First thing's first is that they all need to get back home.]

Oh, by the way, do you want me to get you two anything? Dark Shadow, you especially! Are you hungry? Or thirsty? [She doesn't know what his physical makeup is in this world. Is he still just a shadow? Can he eat and drink? Sleep?? ~~Poop?~~]

[Her wholeheartedness is honestly incredibly touching. Ochako may think highly of her classmates, but Tokoyami truly thinks that belief and pureness of heart is definitely needed in heroes. She's not the only one who thinks her classmates can become amazing heroes.]

[Dark Shadow wiggles excitedly.]

I want watermelon!!

[Tokoyami chuckles.]

Watermelon does sound good right now.

[And perhaps it's that faith and believe in each other that really drives the class to move forward to vigorously as they do. The love, care, and support they all have for one another is tangible, felt all throughout each member of Class 1-A.

Ochako laughs at Dark Shadow's exclamation and scoots forward to sit up at last, stretching a bit and shielding her eyes from the harsh sun. Some watermelon does sound really good, and she's sure someone brought a few to partake in, and to smash, of course. No good beach episode is complete without watermelon smashing!]

I'll go get some, hold on!! I think someone brought a few along, and some cool watermelon does sound really tasty... [Fruit in general, especially chilled, just sounds heavenly.] I'll get you both a big ol' piece, okay?! Be right back!

[And off she goes, returning in maybe ten oe so minutes holding three chunky watermelon wedges in hand - one each for the boys, and one for herself.]
