⚠️ WARNINGS: Wacky shenanigans, Bakugou's potty mouth, overwhelming cuteness, BATHING SUITS?? Scandalous.


It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!


i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

iv. You're a Sky Full of Stars (stargazing and camping out on the beach)

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

Bakugou rolls his head towards Deku. Grins one of those nasty little grins. ]

Could tell you at least one thing he was good at. Not much else though.

[ Izuku... Are you sure you wanna hear it? ]

[He really shouldn't want to hear it. He shouldn't fall for this- He shouldn't.

[Because he's thinking Katsuki will be honest about his answer and not make a mean quip and that's probably his first mistake?!]

[ Katsuki's grin is tired. A nasty smirk, but tired all the same. ]

Got to see you actually get jealous. What a face you make...

[ Now the blonde rolls his head away from Izuku. Snickering. ]

The turdmachine really knows how to get you goin', huh?

[And of course Izuku's shoulders freeze up as soon as Katsuki says that! Quickly glancing around before staring at Katsuki in embarrassed horror.]

It wasn't- It wasn't anything like that!!

[Yes it was, he was jealous. Just because Katsuki's right doesn't mean he has to say it!]

You two get along well, there's nothing wrong with that...!

[ All the while Katsuki's kind of snickering. ]

That's a damn good look too.

[ That frozen, almost scandalized look. Pfft! What does Bakugou care if anyone hears them? It's not like he's embarrassed by this shit. Not unless someone points it out.

Anyway, who cares. Deku wanted his time so now he's getting time! ]

S'fine. At least he doesn't -

[ Okay. He doesn't finish that sentence. "At least he doesn't drool on me all the time." ]

[Katsuki might not be embarrassed but Izuku sure is. He quickly looks away, his cheeks heating up considerably red. He has to glance up to see if anyone is looking at them but honestly, it seems like everyone's pretty busy in their own conversations right now. Thank goodness...

Then his gaze snaps right back to Katsuki when he continues and he almost has a mini heart attack.]

He doesn't ... what?

[...]

No, yeah. N-nevermind... I'm just happy that Snowball-chan likes you, so... It's not a big deal...

[ Hah? Had he heard that right? Katsuki sits up fully. Looking at Izuku with a tired, owlish expression. ]

You just said Snowball.

[ Is that slip purposeful? Had Izuku even noticed that he had done that? ]

[Whoops, he didn't notice that he called the goat that. Like it was natural.]

...I did. [He rubs the back of his hair.] He likes the name. It's like you said, I shouldn't fuss about it. If he likes that name then I should use it. Since he likes you so much it only seems nice.

[ Bakugou meets Deku's expression with a soft bark of laughter. Still obnoxious and full himself. ]

Yeah. We both know why that is.

[ Augh. Now he might actually want a marshmallow or something. Don't get him wrong. Katsuki's still tired. He just is staring at the flames and rethinking wanting a snack. ]

You notice how he and Turkey are hanging out more lately?

[He ducks his head down because he can't even argue with Katsuki on that point. They both know why the goat loves Katsuki so much. Kacchan is sugoi and it seems that opinion transfers from Izuku to his familiar too. It's so embarrassing.

There is a bag of marshmallows nearby. Alongside a box of graham crackers and milk chocolate.]

Yeah. But- She likes the name Ruby, doesn't she...? [Wow, did they really name each other's familiars? Yes, they did.] They act like best friends, it's nice seeing them getting along...!

[ Heh. More embarrassed flustering. Katsuki is so damn amused by it now that the source isn't fear. He'll take a lot of different reactions aimed at him as long as it isn't fear any longer. ]

Give me a stick and one of those marshmallows.

[ So he can burn things to death. ]

Turkey. Ruby... Same thing. And maybe it's not just friendship going on there.

[fullgauntlet]

[He still has a few knee-jerk reactions once in a while but it certainly isn't as bad as it used to be.

... He blinks incredulously, his hand hovering there as he picks up the stick and offers it to Katsuki.]

... It's- what do you- [Does he mean what Izuku thinks he means?!] No- It can't be anything like that, Kacchan! ...

[They are pretty lovey-dovey with each other... cuddling.]

They're just close. I think that's a good thing...

[Uh huh.]

[ Totally taking that stick. Now shoving a marshmallow on it... And reaching across so that he can start to toast it over the fire. ]

Ah huh. Yeah, okay. 'Cause I'm totally misreading the signs.

[ Yeah, because he's completely wrong here. The bird and the goat are just friends. Only friends. Since that's completely what's going on between the familiars' partners too. ]

Letting you take it easy today, Nerd. Tomorrow it's back to training.

[Izuku ducks his chin downwards. Just going to try and ignore the way his cheeks burn.]

... Maybe they are closer than just...friends...

[Like they kind of are- Izuku looks up shyly, catching a glimpse of Katsuki in the firelight before he glances at the fire again.]

If that's the case I better... have a few more smores too.

[The last chance for a break! Okay, he's grabbing his own stick and putting a marshmallow on it too!]

[ Bakugou snorts. So glad that Izuku could actually see what was going on there. He doesn't say anything else to this. Only watches the fire and slowly turns his marshmallow so that it will be roasted evenly on all sides. He'll probably make the outside crispy and charred to cut down on the sweet factor. ]

Ha? Are you tryin' to copy me now? I'm having one of these things so now you gotta do the same?

[fullgauntlet]

I'm going to make my own, that's what you do at bonfire parties, Kacchan.

[He might be copying a little bit...

But he scoots just a smidge closer to Katsuki. So he can get a good vantage point for the flames to cook his own marshmallow. That's all!!]

Wouldn't know anything about that, Deku.

[ The slight movement is noted. This nerd wants to get closer. Subtly closer in a way that won't alarm their classmates. Or... Maybe so no one will be tipped off?

Katsuki doesn't know what to think about it. Can't really think too much about it with his tired brain. So he doesn't.

Instead he blows on his marshmallow. ]

Isn't that... That's why it's nice that we're here. Now we can do some of this.

[He mutters quietly. Then he's starting to finish the roast on his own marshmallow which is actually a nice golden brown. He pulls it away from the flames and goes to remove it to smush with some cracker and chocolate but it's then that Izuku fumbles with it slightly. Getting some sticky marshmallow on his fingertips as he creates his first s'more.]

Ah- [Dang it!] I almost had it perfect...!

It's just more of that bonding shit that we do from time to time. Same purpose, different activity.

[ Bakugou just watches the other for a moment. He's taking the charred coating from the outside and pulling it off. Eating it... And then putting the marshmallow over the flames once more. ]

Hah! Did you really expect that you'd get it?

[ Shoving his thumb into his mouth though. Got to get the sticky off of it. ]

[fullgauntlet]

Well... It's been a while since I've made one but I thought I had it. It's just sticking a hot marshmallow between the chocolate and gram cracker...

[He fusses with it for a second and then frustratedly tries to smush it all together in one fell swoop, making a sticky squishy mess of chocolate, marshmallow and cracker.

Then he holds it up-! Semi-victorious!]

[ Yeah... It's that ooey gooeyness that is just setting off Katsuki. As in, setting off his cleanliness. All of that sticky sweetness all over the place is just disgusting to him. It's going to get all over Deku's face and smear and just -

Augh. ]

Hella gross.

[... He's not hella gross-!!]

It's not that bad. Here. If it's bad then you can have this one.

[A sparkle of challenge there. Who's gonna get ooey gooeyness on who?]

[ He's just eating his marshmallow with charred outsides, thank you. Bakugou doesn't require the sugar rush that others do?
