[CLOSED] - Party on the beach where the fun is free...

⚠️ WARNINGS: Wacky shenanigans, Bakugou's potty mouth, overwhelming cuteness, BATHING SUITS?? Scandalous.

It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!

i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

iv. You're a Sky Full of Stars (stargazing and camping out on the beach)

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

[A little bit. A celebration and just a means of getting everyone together in a positive way that's fun and enjoyable. A means to unwind from the shit they had to endure, and get back some semblance of peace in their lives. Reconnect. Because while life may be hard, and it may be shit, having friends there to support and comfort you makes it a little easier to bear.]

Mm...if you insist.

[The water balloon that was hovering behind her back with her kinetic magic is grabbed very suddenly, and Ochako doesn't so much as toss it at him, but she reaches out at arm's length, right up in Bakugou's face, and pops it with her nails digging it, making the water explode out and onto her salty (and now very wet) friend.

Aaand she's outie. :'D BYEEE!!]

[ It takes a few seconds for Bakugou to register what had just happened. When it does? Bakugou releases a mighty yell! ]

UURRRRAAAARAAAAAKAAAAAA!

[ Then he's scrambling to get up, kicking sand in his wake. HE'S GOING TO START CHASING THAT GIRL DOWN!

SHE WILL PAY FOR HER SINS!]

KYAAAA! NOOO, STOP!!! AHAHAHAHA!!

[Of course he's chasing her down. Ochako expected it and is actually...glad for it? In a weird sort of way, the normalcy of teasing Bakugou and getting him all fired up and angry is another thing that just brings Ochako so much joy. She's laughing, loudly, her smile huge as she slips and scrambles through the sand to avoid being captured. Though, honestly, even if she is caught, it can't possibly erase the bubbling happiness in her chest.

This is right, this is fun.]

Fly awaaayy~! [Yes, she is going to use her kinetic magic to start lifting herself up into the air like a balloon.]

[ See, that only works insofar as Bakugou can't also get into the air. But he can. Katsuki launches himself into the air with fire and chases after Ochako this way. ]

GET THE FUCK BACK HERE!

[ Then he'll throw a barrier ahead of her! Stop running! ]

[Ohoho, this are heating up!! Hyuk, hyuk. Squealing loudly, the girl waves her arms a bit when Bakugou launches after her and zips through the air a bit faster, still laughing.]

That's not going to work on me this time!!

[And she suddenly vanishes in the burst of shimmering sparkles, appearing again past the barrier, and turning over her shoulder to blow a big, fat raspberry back at her friend with a grin.] Nyeeehhh!

[ Now now Ochako... You should also know Katsuki better than this. Because while she is focusing on Bakugou and his charging + barrier?

She's not paying attention to below her. ]

Got you!

[ Because there's totally a giant water bubble now opening up underneath her! ]

[Oh? ....Oh.

Oh, welp. Ochako's eyes go a bit wide because now she's caught between a rock and a hard place. She can't teleport that much without exhausting herself, so that's a no go, and, well...her arms go out to try and freeze the bubble of water before it bursts, or swallows her up, or...whatever the hell else Bakugou has in store, but too little too late.]

N-N-NO FAIR!! Eeek!

[ It's definitely swallowing her up so freezing it would just trap her inside. By now, Bakugou has a platform of light he's standing on.

And sends Ochako's water bubble smashing into the ocean! ]

[THIS IS WHY YOU WERE UNDER THE TIME OUT UMBRELLA, KATSUKI!!!

Ochako flails and flouders inside her water bubble, holding her breath, but lets out all her air when she's suddenly flung back into the water with a big ol' ker-sploosh. At the least, when she does come back up for air, coughing and hacking, she's also laughing and floating on her back...eyes closed and a smile on her face.

Yeah, he's a jerk and an asshole, but Ochako wouldn't trade him for anything.]

Jump!! Bakugou-kun, jump!

[ MAYBE SHE SHOULD BE IN THE TIME OUT UMBRELLA IF SHE'S GOING TO HIT PEOPLE IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH WATER BALLOONS!

But he hadn't intended on hurting anyone either. Or drowning them. So Bakugou shifts on his platform. Just sort of sits there for the time being. ]

Why would I want to do that?

[It wasn't in the back of the head!! it was in his face because Uraraka isn't a COWARD!!

And Ochako blinks up at him, treading water and tilting her head to one side. Why? Why not? Isn't he here to enjoy himself and have fun? There are plenty of ways for Bakugou to do that at the beach.]

Because you'd enjoy making a big, flashy splash?

[ SHE IS A COWARD BECAUSE SHE FUCKING RAN! Or... Flew... Whatever. ]

Maybe I don't wanna make a splash at all. I was actually just enjoying myself when you have to assault me so fucking savagely.

[ So he'll stay up here. For a few moments longer yet. ]

[NO THAT WAS CAREFUL BATTLE TACTICS, YOU'RE JUST RUDE.]

Says the true savage of our class.. [AHEM.] Boo, Bakugou, I can just knock you down from there if I wanted to, you know...but I'm trying to be nice. Come play with everyone!! I free you from time out.

I HEARD THAT! IF YOU WANNA SEE SAVAGE I'LL GIVE YOU SAVAGE!

[ Hopefully Ochako isn't too comfortable down there. Because Bakugou is standing up. Holding his hands out. And suddenly there's more water circling them.

She thought a water gun to the face was funny? What about water spears launching at hers!? ]

[Bakugou, what the fuck.]

THIS IS WHY I PUT YOU IN TIME OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

[HONESTLY?? Spears?! Ochako doesn't have much time to react, but takes a huge gulp of air and dives deep below the water, using her kinetic magic to propel her faster through the surf before coming to a halt in the depths just under her hotheaded blond friend's platform. He's still a bit spicy, so let's cool him off a bit...

Sweeping through the water with her hands, Ochako conjures up her elemental magic as her ten fingertips glow blue...and the water around her bubbles and surges...until she lifts her arms well up above her head and the water bursts up with the motion suddenly, like a geyser, or a waterspout. She's hoping to knock him off his high horse. Or, erm...platform, in this case.]

[ Oh they aren't solid. They'll splash like any spray of water from a water gun. In other words? Perfectly harmless. Just splashy!

But that's one way to get him off of the platform, those waterspouts. Too bad that it's not going to get him wet or even thrown into the water. Because he's just going to freeze one and launch himself off of it.

And throw more water at Ochako in the form of balls! ]

[Truly a good boy, even if he's rowdy.

This is actually a lot of fun, and part of the reason why Ochako targeted Bakugou in the first place (along with it being really funny) - he gets so fired up that their little water fight became almost like a training fight with their magic. Despite the exhaustion starting to set in, the adrenaline is pumping, and she's grinning just as big as he is. One the water 'balloons' gets her on the shoulder and upper arm, but Ochako pauses the others with her kinetic magic and sends them right back at Bakugou!]

I'm not letting you win this time!!

[Pushing herself up and out of the water, Ochako hovers over it just enough to appear like she's 'walking' on the water's surface, waves brushing at her ankles as the surf rolls in and out. The water balls she sent back at him? Just before they're deflected or anything, she's going to concentrate hard and...blip! They disappear from sight--

Only to reappear over his head and behind his back to try and strike at his blindspots.]

[ Everything is a serious training exercise, thank you! Even sparring or doing this. It all counts as "training" in one sense or the other. That's why Bakugou can so readily go along with it.

He doesn't seem to mind that his own "attack" is being shot right back at him. A couple of gusts of wind pop those water bubbles effectively.]

You aint gonna have a choice.

[ Though he'd say that the teleporting above him is cheating. He's not doing shit like that! And sure, Ochako might get a good shot in before he's using his light magic to create platforms for him to get away.

Might want to be careful though because two can create an advantage to that degree. Bakugou's going to launch a fireball at the water, causing steam to billow and rise up. To obscure the "playing field" a little more! ]

[It isn't cheating!! It's employing her skills and her magic is a new and creative way - training and focusing it past what she knows already. If this is really a match now, then there's no such thing as cheating unless she starts to really play dirty, and Ochako has far too much respect for Bakugou to ever think of doing such a thing.

Getting even one hit on him, though...it definitely makes her grin widen, and her naturally competitive nature starts to kick into overdrive. She usually doesn't get this riled up, but Bakugou just has that aura that is a bit contagious. The want to win and have a good time. His ploy is a good one, and she giggles to herself remembering she did much the same in their first fight, too. Using the smoke of his explosions as cover. Maybe, just maybe--]

I'll be the judge of that, Bakugou-kun!

[Ochako calls out from the fog of the heavy steam, hoping that will prompt him to try and come at her physically. Draw him in. Bait him. Because Ochako slinks below the water a second later, watching the surface of the water like a shark for any shadows or movement. If he gets close, she's going to try and pull him under by his ankles.]

[ Well no, his intention hadn't been to actually go down there. Not at all. Because of the exact reason that Ochako is carrying out. She can't see him, but he can't see her. Now what he had intended to do was just block her vision.

So she can't see him conjuring a whirlwind that's about to turn into a waterspout. ]

[No, she can't see any of that from where she is under the water, swirling her arms around to form a little 'bubble' of air to help her breathe for at least a minute or two longer than normal. She's looking for his shadow above the waves, but it's hard to judge distance from where she is. Besides, the water is kind of dark - not like a tropical ocean where the water is clear and blue.

Once her air bubble runs out, she doesn't have a choice but to breach the surface for a big gulp of air, and to look for her friend. There's no way he gave up...]

Bakugou?

[ NOPE! NO GIVING UP HERE.

But Ochako popping out of the water? Yeah that's only going to help Bakugou out. Means she can be totally sucked up into that waterspout! ]

[WHY.

Ochako has perhaps a fraction of a second to just see the massive spout of water before she's sucked up in like a straw, her high-pitched shriek getting cut off in the gurgle and burble of water as she's pulled up and into the swirling waters.]

[ Because he has to win. Kinda. Or, rather, he's pretty damn motivated to do it.

Though he won't be crueler about it than he has to be! Once she shoots up into the sky? He'll catch her in another bubble...

And slowly bring her back down. ]
