[Open] Raising Spirits
🧙 WHO: Dr. Naomi Kimishima and You
⚔️️ WHAT: Various quests and prompts as a Catch-all
🕒 WHEN: Throughout September till Event
🗺️ WHERE: Around Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: Possible burns, various injuries and illnesses, and corpses in some prompts.
Animals and Naomi don't tend to get along.
Perhaps she got along with cats, but given their symbolism throughout history, she's not surprised.
Death Magic seemed to make that relationship worse. At least sheep shearing shouldn't be so difficult to the point she can't approach, but incense only cover up so much. The stench of death did nothing to ease the already anxious sheeps' anxieties so she had to stay back. Still, she should make an effort to help with Quests.
So, she would help in her own way. Should she see anyone else working on shearing sheep, she would settle nearby, watch, and wait. Not close enough to bother the sheep, but not far enough to be completely unknown. If any healing was needed, she would be there - that, or maybe her watching was becoming a little eerie.
Naomi's heard about the strange marauder going around and acting out his fantasies, and it sounded like he needed mental health. However, she wasn't out for helping him, she's just trying to head home.
Which was what made encountering him somewhat a bother. That, and she didn't even know what the hell he was acting out. She didn't care for movies or plays so the scene was completely lost on her - oh dear, it seemed to be incensing him.
Maybe step in and help... or watch.
Land of Rot was as it said on the tin, and she was glad to be going when they did. She'd gone along to see about capturing corpses if only to ty her Death Magic out some more, but there seemed to be issues between it and the land itself. Either her magic wasn't strong enough, or the curse of the Land itself couldn't be surpassed.
Oh well, they managed to get what they needed.
"If we don't return in time, we still have access to the crematorium."
Well, she had access.
Just like the previous month, Naomi's door was open for all matter of ills and ailments at the clinic. Whether for a check-up, a quick heal, or a prescription, she more than likely had her next patient covered. All that she might want in return was a knock to know you're there.
"... Come in."
She tapped on her paperwork with her pen.
"Let's try not to waste too much of your time."
[OOC: Now Naomi isn't getting tattooed, but she can be a personal genie for some. Otherwise, anything else, plot with me over at
demidemonLove.]

But, he's not here at this clinic for himself. He's actually seeking out help for another reason.]
Hello. I'm Midoriya Izuku... I heard that there was a doctor here with healing magic?
no subject
Yes, that would be me. What do you need?
no subject
Ah... Hello! [Wait, he already said hello.] I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions. There's someone I need to help. But, I don't know many people with strong healing magic.
no subject
I see... well, ask me your questions so I can assess the issue and whether or not I can handle it.

II. Cult Classic
Cocking her head to one side at the sight, she wasn't quite sure what to make of the whole thing. So Elza folded her arms across her chest and levelled the pair with an amused smirk. "I can see you're having fun."
no subject
Not to mention films in this world probably weren't the same as her so, even if she was a film or play aficionado, it would be pointless. So, still with crossed arms, she's not playing into the act this individual wants to play out. He seemed prepared to attack, but hesitated himself at a new voice. Naomi looked over. Ah, yes, she remembered the other woman as well - shame they didn't exchange names, but that's how it goes sometimes.
"Indeed, but we're almost done here. Don't mind us."
ii
She'd been on the way back to the carriages from a café when she hears shouts down the street, coming from behind a crowd that's started to gather. She's heard of people looking for this man but never being able to catch him, and yet... why are all these locals standing around doing nothing!? She's quick to shove her way through the captivated audience with a steaming cup of tea in one hand, and when she gets to the front—]
"How could you not have seen the movie!?"
[She scowls.]
Not everyone's a fan.
[Of what movie? She has no idea what's going on here, but her answer won't change.
Hello Naomi, did you need some assistance?]
no subject
[About to move, she blinks and raises her head finally when someone else spoke up. A woman she had not met before (though, she hasn't met a lot of people either) had actually stepped forward.]
Or not a fan in general... Either way, some of us have work in the morning. If at all possible, please continue gallivanting elsewhere so I can go home and sleep.
[She has a bad habit of not.]
no subject
[He withdraws a sword from the sheath at his belt. She had been expecting a sad little wooden sword at best, but nope—this is a full on metal one. And then, from a bag slumped on the ground next to him, he takes out an extra and tosses it at Naomi, where it clatters to the ground.]
"The force is with you, young Luke Hamill."
[Tifa's brow arches, and recognition flickers in her gaze, her mouth falling open in a silent gasp.]
Wait, I know this one...!
no subject
[What does catch her by surprise though is the young woman speaking up.]
You... know this?

IV With a Twist
[So here he was, lying in one of her clinic's beds, panting a little heavily and sweat on his brow, looking like he was suffering an intense fever.]
no subject
[She asks for staff to get ice while she looks after him - also, to prepare a lukewarm bath. While those were gathered and prepared, she remained in the room, observing the patient closely.]
no subject
[He groans as he shifts on the bed, eyes slowly opening halfway. He doesn't seem to focus on anything in particular, gaze bleary and glossed over. He lets out a faint wheeze, sweat gathered on his brow.]
I-I’m so warm...
no subject
[Picking up the bag, Naomi tries to meet his eyes, but they're unfocused.]
Can you hear me? We're working on cooling you down now.
[She'll hold the bag against the top of his head while she's speaking to him.]

[ having been given the go ahead to go in after knocking, naoto pops in with a weak smile. looks like someone didn't listen to darin's instructions.... ]
You got anything for chafing? I got... a mild case. [ that was putting it lightly. ]
no subject
[Yes, right, the arm, but she somewhat narrows her eyes. Naoto, honestly...] Didn't you receive instructions to prevent that?
no subject
I did....... but I forgot to follow them..........
no subject
I can heal your chafing this time, but there's not going to be a second. If there's a second occasion, you'll at least leave here with the supplies.

Of course, the perpetrator had picked a movie that neither his attempted foe (Naomi) nor the person trying to stop him (Keith) had seen, so he got more and more agitated as no one seemed to be playing along. Whatever it was he was trying to reenact was apparently a fight scene, though, so, when the weapon (a sword) came out, Keith decided it was time to step in.
He drew his own blade.]
Hey... can't you take a hint? She's not interested in your game.
no subject
[Still, Keith drawing his weapon was seen as an accepted challenge.]
He's not listening, and probably hasn't for a while. Whether it's due to a physical or a mental health condition, he needs to be apprehended for that evaluation.
no subject
Ha! See? And more quotes were spouted as if it was the start of some epic battle scene with a monologue, which really only annoyed Keith more.]
Can we just fight already?
no subject
[Though... Keith's question has her eyes narrow a bit and she gives Keith a confused look.]
He's following a script. That doesn't mean you have to.

Though Homura couldn't ignore the stare from a certain doctor. Eventually, she looked over to her. "So....just watching a show or something?"
It was an eventful half hour of chaos at least.
no subject
"I can't approach you to treat your burns without startling the sheep."
That's her reason and she's sticking to it unless Homura wanted to be char-broiled.
no subject
"Eh, I'm used to burns thanks to training. Least now, they mostly like me around--" She made a face as one sheep nudged her, spitting more fire until the ninja began scratch its head. It was like dealing with cats. "And bossy. Not forgetting that."
