[Open] Raising Spirits
🧙 WHO: Dr. Naomi Kimishima and You
⚔️️ WHAT: Various quests and prompts as a Catch-all
🕒 WHEN: Throughout September till Event
🗺️ WHERE: Around Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: Possible burns, various injuries and illnesses, and corpses in some prompts.
Animals and Naomi don't tend to get along.
Perhaps she got along with cats, but given their symbolism throughout history, she's not surprised.
Death Magic seemed to make that relationship worse. At least sheep shearing shouldn't be so difficult to the point she can't approach, but incense only cover up so much. The stench of death did nothing to ease the already anxious sheeps' anxieties so she had to stay back. Still, she should make an effort to help with Quests.
So, she would help in her own way. Should she see anyone else working on shearing sheep, she would settle nearby, watch, and wait. Not close enough to bother the sheep, but not far enough to be completely unknown. If any healing was needed, she would be there - that, or maybe her watching was becoming a little eerie.
Naomi's heard about the strange marauder going around and acting out his fantasies, and it sounded like he needed mental health. However, she wasn't out for helping him, she's just trying to head home.
Which was what made encountering him somewhat a bother. That, and she didn't even know what the hell he was acting out. She didn't care for movies or plays so the scene was completely lost on her - oh dear, it seemed to be incensing him.
Maybe step in and help... or watch.
Land of Rot was as it said on the tin, and she was glad to be going when they did. She'd gone along to see about capturing corpses if only to ty her Death Magic out some more, but there seemed to be issues between it and the land itself. Either her magic wasn't strong enough, or the curse of the Land itself couldn't be surpassed.
Oh well, they managed to get what they needed.
"If we don't return in time, we still have access to the crematorium."
Well, she had access.
Just like the previous month, Naomi's door was open for all matter of ills and ailments at the clinic. Whether for a check-up, a quick heal, or a prescription, she more than likely had her next patient covered. All that she might want in return was a knock to know you're there.
"... Come in."
She tapped on her paperwork with her pen.
"Let's try not to waste too much of your time."
[OOC: Now Naomi isn't getting tattooed, but she can be a personal genie for some. Otherwise, anything else, plot with me over at
demidemonLove.]

II. Cult Classic

III. The Fighting Badass

Well, she had access.
IV. Open Clinic
Just like the previous month, Naomi's door was open for all matter of ills and ailments at the clinic. Whether for a check-up, a quick heal, or a prescription, she more than likely had her next patient covered. All that she might want in return was a knock to know you're there.

She takes the opportunity to raise her leg and land a kick on his back and she sends him falling to the ground where he breaks his fall with an expert roll. This guy's better than he looks, what in Shiva's tits?
Tifa growls under her breath, and she can hear him put on the act, just as she suspected he would. There's some deep, strange breathing noises coming from under his mask, and he laughs, low and unlike his normal voice.]
"Very well. You wish to fight, but know that the Force—"
Shut up!
[His speech is cut short by Tifa rushing in to throw a punch, but he blocks it with his sword, and it hits the armour of her glove. Maybe Naomi will find an opening!?]
no subject
[Turning and watching the guy break his fall, she rolls her eyes at the forced laugh that he's been practicing. So... was he playing the role of a villain or a hero? That might affect how they needed to go about restraining him. There might be an opening right now, but not one good enough for Naomi to try approaching.]
... Do you know the scene he's referring to?
[Tifa might not be wielding the sword, but that much would be able to distract him, or draw his attention to her instead and give Naomi the right opportunity.]
no subject
[Tifa pushes back with her glove, sending him reeling backwards, but once again, he seems practiced enough not to fall.]
"No, YOU are!" [He points at Tifa, and then Naomi.] "Luke Hamill didn't use his hands to fight Marth Zader! He used his laser sword! I should be fighting the white-haired lady, not the likes of you!"
no subject
Why use real swords instead of toy light-up swords? More people would go along with it then. [Hell, he'd probably be able to find some people around his age just as enthused about the material.] Besides, I'm not doing this. I have to wake up early to perform surgery tomorrow.
no subject
[While Tifa doesn't have surgery to perform in the morning, she sure as hell isn't happy about wasting her time on this guy, but... if anyone's going to take him down, it might as well be her? With the help of Naomi...? She isn't sure what this guy's problem is, but that won't be her problem when they're done.
He says nothing else, instead shooting for Naomi again, completely ignoring Tifa. He seems hellbent on getting a fight or a rise out of her at the very least, to play into this weird fantasy of his...]
no subject
[Naomi's sure that's where most people at this hour would like to go... oh right, that would probably be just her and her companion since everyone else is watching?]
[Well, it's time for this weird fantasy to end and perhaps in the most uncomfortable way. At least bothering to block this time and let him try pushing her, Naomi's snake familiar - which had been resting coiled around her neck - rouses with a hiss and flings herself onto the man. She then quickly slithers herself beneath his armor and clothes through the first gap it can find.]
Oh dear, she's agitated. I do hope she doesn't bite.
no subject
"GET THIS THING OFF ME!"
Not yet.
[Meanwhile, her own familiar flips up out of the ground and lands on top of the man, putting all of her dolphin weight and more on him so that he can't crawl away.]
no subject
Now then, has someone contacted the proper authorities to collect him?
[Naomi looks around at the crowd. Are they done trying to enjoy the show?]
no subject
Tifa, meanwhile, wanders up, and presses a foot on his back as the crowd continues to look on, their jaws dropped and their eyes wide, but no one saying anything when Naomi addresses them.]
If no one else is going to do it, then I will.
[From her pocket, Tifa pulls out her phone and quickly makes the call, letting them know where they are before sliding it back. Neither her or her familiar are letting this man get up until they get here...]
Sorry you got caught up in all that.
no subject
Don't you have anything better to do? Be on your way.
[It would be easier to get the crowd to depart with some police personnel present, but they would be here eventually. Looking over at Tifa, she shakes her head.]
It's fine... it's not the worst I've been involved in.
no subject
[Honestly, neither for her, but it was definitely the strangest she's been involved in in a while.]
You've had run-ins with guys like this before? [She can't help the scoff of laughter that comes out.] Hope he's the only one who tried to force you into a scene.
no subject
[No more questions need to be ask in that regards.]
Well, we'll see if this one can get the help he needs. That's not indulging in his fantasy more this way.
no subject
You think so? [Tifa sure hopes so.] I doubt locking him up'll do him any good.
[From the ground, he protests.]
"I don't need anyone's help! It's you two who need it!"
no subject
[But with everyone he's hurt, there would be consequences for that. However, that would be for the authorities to decide. Looking down at the man, she sighs, shaking her head as she turns away.]
I'm going to need extra shots in my coffee tomorrow...
no subject
[She's just going to ignore him and watch Naomi instead, and the dolphin laying on top of the man splashes some water in his face to get him to quit his whining and will continue to do so each time he so much as opens his mouth to breathe.]
So, you really haven't seen Galaxy Wars? It's actually pretty good. Even I was surprised by it.
no subject
I'm not really interested in watching movies let alone science fiction ones. I will to placate friends [When she has any...] if they extend an invitation.
no subject
So, if someone extended an invitation, you'd go?
no subject
[She just has to send a look that says 'don't', but the other woman is probably going to ignore it.]
no subject
Well, the offer's open if you ever wanted to go with someone. I don't think it's as fun to go alone.
[Whatever floats people's boats, she supposes, but Tifa always did prefer being around other people.]
There are a lot of fun movies that are true stories too, if you're more into that. Or... movies about dogs playing soccer if that's your thing.
[Though she doesn't really pin Naomi as the family movie type.]
no subject
[She sounds skeptical... and likely from the tone, Tifa could already tell Naomi's not interested in that either. She can be difficult like that though.]
... Alyssa might enjoy it, but she's not here.
no subject
What about... fantasy? There were a few that fit the bill there... if science fiction isn't your thing.
"How could you not like galaxy wa—"
[Tifa digs her heel into the man's back to shut him up. Be quiet, the adults are talking.]
no subject
A thriller or suspense film would be better.
[So... two options.]
no subject
[Probably for the best. Tifa's always looking for ways to help other people enjoy themselves while they're all stuck in this strange new place together...
But the thought and conversation are cut short when she hears the gallop of hooves coming in, and the crowd parts to let the horse through, and on its back is Camelot's version of a police officer... whatever that is. Just a regular police officer? I don't know.]
Looks like they came just in time.
[You're off the hook for now, Naomi!]
no subject
[Because it sounds like she's about to be dragged into this.]
[... Or not when she turns her attention away at the sound of a horse. Ah, she'll take that's the police arriving then? It fit with the blended time.]
Indeed. Well, I'm out at least a hour of sleep... we'll see if I get any at all at this point.
no subject
She moves out of the way for the officer as another one shows up, and her familiar vanishes into a sea of bubbles that rise and pop in the air, and the man underneath takes in a deep breath, trying to fill his lungs with air again.]
Well, you can sleep a little better knowing he won't cause you any more trouble.
