[Open] Raising Spirits
🧙 WHO: Dr. Naomi Kimishima and You
⚔️️ WHAT: Various quests and prompts as a Catch-all
🕒 WHEN: Throughout September till Event
🗺️ WHERE: Around Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: Possible burns, various injuries and illnesses, and corpses in some prompts.
Animals and Naomi don't tend to get along.
Perhaps she got along with cats, but given their symbolism throughout history, she's not surprised.
Death Magic seemed to make that relationship worse. At least sheep shearing shouldn't be so difficult to the point she can't approach, but incense only cover up so much. The stench of death did nothing to ease the already anxious sheeps' anxieties so she had to stay back. Still, she should make an effort to help with Quests.
So, she would help in her own way. Should she see anyone else working on shearing sheep, she would settle nearby, watch, and wait. Not close enough to bother the sheep, but not far enough to be completely unknown. If any healing was needed, she would be there - that, or maybe her watching was becoming a little eerie.
Naomi's heard about the strange marauder going around and acting out his fantasies, and it sounded like he needed mental health. However, she wasn't out for helping him, she's just trying to head home.
Which was what made encountering him somewhat a bother. That, and she didn't even know what the hell he was acting out. She didn't care for movies or plays so the scene was completely lost on her - oh dear, it seemed to be incensing him.
Maybe step in and help... or watch.
Land of Rot was as it said on the tin, and she was glad to be going when they did. She'd gone along to see about capturing corpses if only to ty her Death Magic out some more, but there seemed to be issues between it and the land itself. Either her magic wasn't strong enough, or the curse of the Land itself couldn't be surpassed.
Oh well, they managed to get what they needed.
"If we don't return in time, we still have access to the crematorium."
Well, she had access.
Just like the previous month, Naomi's door was open for all matter of ills and ailments at the clinic. Whether for a check-up, a quick heal, or a prescription, she more than likely had her next patient covered. All that she might want in return was a knock to know you're there.
"... Come in."
She tapped on her paperwork with her pen.
"Let's try not to waste too much of your time."
[OOC: Now Naomi isn't getting tattooed, but she can be a personal genie for some. Otherwise, anything else, plot with me over at
demidemonLove.]

II. Cult Classic

IV. Open Clinic

[Probably for the best. Tifa's always looking for ways to help other people enjoy themselves while they're all stuck in this strange new place together...
But the thought and conversation are cut short when she hears the gallop of hooves coming in, and the crowd parts to let the horse through, and on its back is Camelot's version of a police officer... whatever that is. Just a regular police officer? I don't know.]
Looks like they came just in time.
[You're off the hook for now, Naomi!]
no subject
[Because it sounds like she's about to be dragged into this.]
[... Or not when she turns her attention away at the sound of a horse. Ah, she'll take that's the police arriving then? It fit with the blended time.]
Indeed. Well, I'm out at least a hour of sleep... we'll see if I get any at all at this point.
no subject
She moves out of the way for the officer as another one shows up, and her familiar vanishes into a sea of bubbles that rise and pop in the air, and the man underneath takes in a deep breath, trying to fill his lungs with air again.]
Well, you can sleep a little better knowing he won't cause you any more trouble.
no subject
[She couldn't blame the guy needing to take a breath. Might as well had a person pinning him down this whole time. The officer will help him up too... well, to handcuff him.]
We'll see. Everyone comes through the office eventually...
[Well, one of them.]
no subject
What kind of office do you run?
no subject
[So... that office.]
no subject
Tifa's expression shifts, her brows furrowing, but her smile remaining... If not a touch sheepish. That's what she meant when she said that everyone passes through there eventually, isn't it? Should this be as awkward? It really shouldn't, so why does Tifa suddenly feel like it is? That's on her.]
So, you're a doctor then?
[Yeah let's go with that.]
no subject
[Naomi understands if it suddenly feels awkward. If it's not a normal exposure, it could be a little strange speaking to someone regularly performing autopsies.]
no subject
Tifa shakes her head. You know what, never mind! She's just going to make this even more awkward if she keeps trying to backpedal to save the situation from its own demise, so she claps her hands together.]
Well, with all that taken care of... You gonna be okay getting home? That operation's not gonna finish itself tomorrow.
no subject
I'll be fine. What about yourself?
no subject
[The Inn is pretty far, but she could use the evening walk back. Or maybe she'll hop a carriage and take it the rest of the way, who knows. But before she heads off...]
I'm Tifa, by the way. Nice working with you.
no subject
Dr. Kimishima. It was an experience - I try not to physically engage if it can be avoided.
[Or end it fast...]
no subject
[Or best leave it to the people who can take care of someone as unhinged as that. Tifa tries not to either, but sometimes someone else needs to step in before anyone gets hurt, and things looked like they were heading that way.]
There're some people you just shouldn't get involved with.
[Does she sound like she's speaking from experience? She definitely is. This place is full of crazies.]
no subject
[Because she's already done that... a few times.]
Have a good evening.
[Because she's offer for now. Maybe she'll get some sleep, and maybe not. It'll be up in the air.]
