[Open] Raising Spirits
🧙 WHO: Dr. Naomi Kimishima and You
⚔️️ WHAT: Various quests and prompts as a Catch-all
đź•’ WHEN: Throughout September till Event
🗺️ WHERE: Around Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: Possible burns, various injuries and illnesses, and corpses in some prompts.
Animals and Naomi don't tend to get along.
Perhaps she got along with cats, but given their symbolism throughout history, she's not surprised.
Death Magic seemed to make that relationship worse. At least sheep shearing shouldn't be so difficult to the point she can't approach, but incense only cover up so much. The stench of death did nothing to ease the already anxious sheeps' anxieties so she had to stay back. Still, she should make an effort to help with Quests.
So, she would help in her own way. Should she see anyone else working on shearing sheep, she would settle nearby, watch, and wait. Not close enough to bother the sheep, but not far enough to be completely unknown. If any healing was needed, she would be there - that, or maybe her watching was becoming a little eerie.
Naomi's heard about the strange marauder going around and acting out his fantasies, and it sounded like he needed mental health. However, she wasn't out for helping him, she's just trying to head home.
Which was what made encountering him somewhat a bother. That, and she didn't even know what the hell he was acting out. She didn't care for movies or plays so the scene was completely lost on her - oh dear, it seemed to be incensing him.
Maybe step in and help... or watch.
Land of Rot was as it said on the tin, and she was glad to be going when they did. She'd gone along to see about capturing corpses if only to ty her Death Magic out some more, but there seemed to be issues between it and the land itself. Either her magic wasn't strong enough, or the curse of the Land itself couldn't be surpassed.
Oh well, they managed to get what they needed.
"If we don't return in time, we still have access to the crematorium."
Well, she had access.
Just like the previous month, Naomi's door was open for all matter of ills and ailments at the clinic. Whether for a check-up, a quick heal, or a prescription, she more than likely had her next patient covered. All that she might want in return was a knock to know you're there.
"... Come in."
She tapped on her paperwork with her pen.
"Let's try not to waste too much of your time."
[OOC: Now Naomi isn't getting tattooed, but she can be a personal genie for some. Otherwise, anything else, plot with me over at
demidemonLove.]

Animals and Naomi don't tend to get along.
Perhaps she got along with cats, but given their symbolism throughout history, she's not surprised.

II. Cult Classic
Naomi's heard about the strange marauder going around and acting out his fantasies, and it sounded like he needed mental health. However, she wasn't out for helping him, she's just trying to head home.

III. The Fighting Badass

Well, she had access.
IV. Open Clinic
Just like the previous month, Naomi's door was open for all matter of ills and ailments at the clinic. Whether for a check-up, a quick heal, or a prescription, she more than likely had her next patient covered. All that she might want in return was a knock to know you're there.

[Meanwhile, she'll get what he needs out of her cabinet...]
no subject
Do you need my arm off? [ he starts reaching for the enclosures, just in case. ]
no subject
[She can't do that through his arm.]
no subject
[ and he pops it off without much complaint, revealing darkened skin and a very bad healing job. ]
no subject
So how long has this chafing been an issue?
[Because it looks like it's been trying to heal... and then getting rubbed again.]
no subject
[ he's looking anywhere but her and his exposed arm. at least she wasn't screaming. ]
no subject
You're lucky this didn't become infected. Have you had a tetanus shot?
[Not that the material looked degraded at all, but as a precaution.]
no subject
I have, but even so, I just... thought it'd heal itself.... [ totally not looking her in the eye. he clicks his tongue. ] I know it's careless, but... I don't want people worrying about me, is all.
no subject
Taking care of yourself is how you make people worry about you less. [Rolling her eyes a bit, she'll start by cleaning the area.]
You'll have to thoroughly clean the affected area and dry it, and I'll give you two ointments that can be applied. One you will use if you leave it for this long again, and the second for the early signs of chafing.
no subject
once given the instructions, he nods. easy enough to integrate into his daily life. ] Simple enough. Thanks.
no subject
[Even though she was demonstrating, she heals his chafing right now anyway. The cleaning was an example; he could figure out how to apply ointment.]
How long have you had this arm? Taking care of it is likely not in your daily routine yet.
no subject
Got it last month. [ a quick, simple answer-- just to get it all over with. ]
no subject
Just try placing it better in your routine.
no subject
Right. Thank you, really... how much do I owe you?
no subject
Don't worry about it. I'm paid by the hospital.
no subject
[ he wonders if she's even a tea person. ]
no subject
[Since she hasn't commented on the tea, she must like it.]
no subject
[ he puts on his arm, smiling a weak smile as he starts leaving. ] Thanks again. I'll see you around.
no subject
[She nods.] Hopefully around. Take care of your arm.
