To my warm home
🧙 WHO: Colette Brunel & Open
⚔️️ WHAT: March catch all!
🕒 WHEN: March, throughout the month
🗺️ WHERE: Camelot/surrounding area sort of thing.
⚠️ WARNINGS: Nothing off of the top of my head? I mean besides the general 'raised as a sacrifice' thing that kinda. Comes with Colette because being the Chosen Sucks guys!
Closed: Kratos
[She has by now heard that some new arrivals show up every now and then. So when she hears the next group should be coming, she decides to head to find out if there might be any familiar faces among them. She isn't necessarily expecting it, knowing it might not be guaranteed but she won't know if she doesn't check, at least, right? So she does. She heads out with the carriages and keeps an eye out for any familiar faces (even if she might be more limited in that in not being able to recognize Presea, Zelos or Regal for example.)
So when she spots Kratos among them, she waves, jumping up on tip toes in not being able to actually use her wings here as she calls out to him.
Sure. Last she recalls he was kinda pretty much leading her to her death but. Still. It's a familiar face among all this and he was just doing his job then. Keeping her safe until she got to that Final Seal and all. That wasn't his fault that she had been raised believing sacrificing herself was her duty. What everyone wanted. If it meant they prospered and the mana was restored again.]
Kratos! You're here too?
[Of course in her enthusiasm as she rushes over in approaching, she trips. Her arms flail as she starts toppling forwards. But no, she doesn't try summon her wings to help her regain her balance. Because she can't. Not here. The fact she can speak again is another indication things were different. Or at least. They are on her end from what she last recalls.]
Quest: Sir Fuzzerton
[Colette. Admittedly doesn't know rabbits as well as she does dogs but even then. If she knows what this rabbit looks like it shouldn't be too hard to find it? She just has to check the cafes. He's probably in one of them at least.
Though maybe initially she isn't sure how many there are it couldn't be that difficult an undertaking? Surely? Colette puts together a list with the names of each and goes through them, checking the rabbits. Of course she still gets distracted playing with them thinking they were still cute. But she is still there for a reason! So she tries to stay on task, asking the owners of the cafes or anyone else nearby if there were any rabbits that had been pets that were found and brought in or something. She has a note, a piece of paper with the basic information at least as she asks around. Glancing between it and the rabbits.]
He's an angora rabbit. His name is Sir Fuzzerton. I'm sure since he's lost he's alone and upset! We have to find him. Actually, I wonder if he had a collar, that would help.....wait, do rabbits wear collars? I'm not even sure what an angora rabbit looks like in comparison to others.
[Please help. Colette is much more clueless around rabbits. But she wants to help in hearing about a lost pet!]
Quest: Run, Snagglefoot!
[Colette.....is a klutz. That's well known enough back home given her tendency to leave Colette shaped imprints in walls she trips into, often tripping over air and it might be debatable in how much her wings helped with that in her flying. Not that she has said wings here but as she does manage to approach the thieves she.....yes. Yes she has just straight up tripped into one of them. Of course she has.
Which may or may not have others working with her to try find said thief basically just. Facepalming at her as she flails her arms in some attempt to keep her balance and fails, tripping right into Snagglefoot on his way to the stables.
And. Yes. Yes she is apologizing to him for it.......]
Ah, I'm sorry!
Wildcard:
[Basically here if people want to do something else? She can probably be found alternatively practicing her Light magic, taking her huge Not Dog (that is not actually specifically Noishe, for those familiar) for walks or playing some sort of catch/frisbee like game with her new familiar. She's actually pretty good at throwing, given chakrams are her preferred weapon outside of her Angelic abilities back home. Or maybe she is crouching and petting and cooing at Every Single Dog she encounters.
Or just. Generally tripping over air because that's kinda also her Thing, obviously. Alas for all those poor walls with their Colette shaped imprints in them.]

...So it would seem.
[he sounds far less surprised by this turn of events than he actually is. He'd prepared himself for the fact that he was never going to see anyone he knew from home ever again, yet here he was running into Colette. Everything about this is jarring, but he's just going to play it cool for now until he has a better idea of what's going on.]
Are you hurt?
no subject
[Said as she answers and manages to straighten when he catches her by the shoulders. At the least he was well aware of her tendency to trip all over the place and thus well prepared in keeping an eye on her. Unlike everyone else here. He'd spend time with her traveling for her Journey and all in getting to know how clumsy she could be.
Colette shakes her head and gives a shrug, glancing up to him sheepishly as she thanks him.]
I wasn't sure but. I figured if I showed up there was a chance others from home might. Do you know if any of the others are here too?
no subject
I'm afraid I have no idea. I've only just arrived myself, and you're the only person I've encountered that I know so far. How long have you been here?
no subject
[And apparently her own Protozoan. That too. As hers comes up approaching Colette in following behind. Though it isn't Noishe specifically. Still, she is trying to be upbeat. To be positive even given what she herself last recalls back home and all. She's not sure what it might mean that Kratos is here as well, but even so. She isn't alone anymore. Now she has at least one familiar face around.]
Ah, and Emerald too!
[.....yes of course she named her familiar.]
no subject
This must be your familiar then, I take it.
[Not gonna lie, he kind of wants to pet it, but he will refrain from doing so because he's supposed to be this stoic badass. Besides, he has his own familiar... somewhere. It'll turn up when it feels like it.]

QUEST
So by the time he finds out where the thief is going to strike next, he's kind of pissed to find that someone has beaten him there. That they - a girl - has managed to LITERALLY run into the guy.
Blink blink. ]
Awww WHAT THE HELL!
no subject
Huh?
[She is aware there's a thief and all. And also in the process of tripping into him made the most of it and procured the items from the guy but he hasn't realized that yet.]
no subject
[ Katsuki hasn't really seen her nick anything either. But then again he isn't CRIMINALLY MINDED either! ]
Bet you'll let him go too!
no subject
[What? He just expects Colette to leave the guy on the ground? Rude? It isn't like he couldn't get up on his own anyway but still. She at least has to offer? And well if what he had stolen conveniently ends up on her instead, well. All the easier for getting what was taken back to the rightful owner? Which is the important thing here. Not that she is being obvious about it of course.
Though. Katsuki is talking to the girl who....worried about and ended up bffs with the ninja that was sent to assassinate her, so. Maybe not the best example on who to chastise on letting 'bad guys' go.]

Quest
By the time he finally manages to track him down, he watches the girl...trip right into him.]
Are you alright, miss?
[He asks as he comes up right behind their thief, ready to intercept him should he attempt to escape.]
no subject
[This is fine she trips up all the time anyway. Colette's used to it and given she tripped into him it isn't like she got hurt in the process. Even if she did it wouldn't be serious. She's used enough to tripping up and getting grazes on her hands or knees. She straightens, apologizing....? yes, apologizing to the thief as she does.]
no subject
[Even as he looks...bemused that she's apologizing to the thief, of all people.]
no subject
I'll try. I do trip up a lot though. So I can't promise I won't.

Quest: Buns
[The voice will actually come from a bit away, as Ochako walks up toward the young lady with a pleasant smile. She's, um...a bit covered in rabbit hair, and lamenting the fact she decided to wear black tights under her very cute skirt, but...thankfully the cafes do provide a few lint rollers for just this, toward the front as people exit. First thing's first though - she take a wipe and cleans her hands before shaking her head with a weak smile.]
Mmh, if you're looking for that one bunny, I'm afraid he's not here. I checked, and none of the ones at this location seem to fit the description of him at all. I...wish there was a way to track him properly, he seems...ehehe...a bit u-untamed right now. [Horny. What she means is that the bunny is totally horny and ready to get his rabbit freak on.]
no subject
[There were quite a few. It's easily possible the rabbit is at one of the others Colette hasn't checked yet. But at least Ochako saved her the time of checking at this particular one. Surely teaming up is a better way to go about this. She waits for the other to clean up, though she might well need to do so herself given her dark tights under her own clothing.]
Um. Which have you checked so far? I just started with this one so. Maybe we can look together? I'm not sure how to tell for a specific one. This particular type.
[.....yeah that. Goes right over her head.]
Untamed? Wild? I thought this was a lost pet?
[Not what Ochako means by untamed there. At all.]
no subject
Ochako blushes a little bit, shaking her head swiftly and goes to change the subject as fast as possible. There's no way she's going to explain the birds and the bunnies to someone out in public, thank you very much!]
I-It's nothing!! Um! Th-There's a list of locations on your phone! [Ochako, please, d-don't shout... She clears her throat, then starts to calm down as her flushed cheeks start to...regain their usual pinkish color, and not a burning red.]
There's actually a map on the phone, and you can check out various stores and restaurants there, too. I think even the quest app has a small list of locations that Fuzzy-wuzzy [She means Fuzzlerton.] may have been spotted at... I already checked these ones here.
[Leaning forward, Ochako flicks open her phone, and shows a screenshot she took of the map app, where various cafes were circled and crossed out. The one they're at right now seems to have been recently crossed out. Ochako never had a smart phone before, and she's become a bit...obsessed with hers. It's so darn useful! If she ever gets back home, she might try to start saving up to get one... Or, ER-HEM...d-do a naughty and try to stow this one away to take back to Musutafu. I-It's technically hers, right?!]
no subject
[Good thing she, like Lloyd, could be easily distracted at least. Colette leans in to look as Ochako shows her about the maps on the phone, her blue eyes widening as she looks over it. Evidently not reading into the redness of Ochako's cheeks. Maybe she was just warm or something. The important thing was the map, that they had a reference and could easily from that check the cafes and mark which they had looked at already!]
Wow, this is amazing! So we just have to check the ones that aren't already crossed out, right? That makes it easier!

Sir Fuzzerton (Fashionably Late)
[But it seems others are on the hunt as well, and he can't help but overhear Colette's running commentary. Oh boy... someone sounds in over their head.]
Are you looking for that runaway rabbit as well?
no subject
I'm trying to help. Though I'm not sure I'll be that successful. There's so many rabbits and so many cafes now I look for one in particular.....
no subject
Well, you are in luck. I, too, am looking for him. Perhaps we can work together?
no subject
[And. How could she say no to hanging out with the talking dog? Of course Colette would say yes! She loves dogs! And may just barely be stopping short of petting him on instinct. And possibly naming him but he probably already has one. If he can talk and all. Maybe where he was from all dogs talked!
Wait. Focus! The bunnies!]

Which would have been fine, except he had decided to do so while standing in the middle of a walkway. Sorry to anyone trying to get someplace, there is now a duck parked right in your path. ]
no subject
In this instance, she trips on the slightly uneven path and -- yup. Right into the poor....duck? It's so big! But she instinctively tries to straighten and not knock them both over, while also apologizing as she kind of flails her arms a bit.]
no subject
Recovering quickly, though, he pushes himself up a little to look over at her. ]
Oh gosh, are you okay? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have just been standing there like that!
no subject
[She's used enough to tripping over. And it isn't like she was hurt. Or if so that it would be that serious given how he tries to help catch her and all. She's met quite a lot of people here by now, but no.....talking duck. Then again. There's the talking dog going around so perhaps this isn't so unusual, at least where he's from. She tries to take it in stride in sheepishly biting her lower lip and offering a hand in helping him up when he pushes himself up and all.]
