Closed: Kratos

[She has by now heard that some new arrivals show up every now and then. So when she hears the next group should be coming, she decides to head to find out if there might be any familiar faces among them. She isn't necessarily expecting it, knowing it might not be guaranteed but she won't know if she doesn't check, at least, right? So she does. She heads out with the carriages and keeps an eye out for any familiar faces (even if she might be more limited in that in not being able to recognize Presea, Zelos or Regal for example.)

So when she spots Kratos among them, she waves, jumping up on tip toes in not being able to actually use her wings here as she calls out to him.

Sure. Last she recalls he was kinda pretty much leading her to her death but. Still. It's a familiar face among all this and he was just doing his job then. Keeping her safe until she got to that Final Seal and all. That wasn't his fault that she had been raised believing sacrificing herself was her duty. What everyone wanted. If it meant they prospered and the mana was restored again.]

Kratos! You're here too?

[Of course in her enthusiasm as she rushes over in approaching, she trips. Her arms flail as she starts toppling forwards. But no, she doesn't try summon her wings to help her regain her balance. Because she can't. Not here. The fact she can speak again is another indication things were different. Or at least. They are on her end from what she last recalls.]

Quest: Sir Fuzzerton

[Colette. Admittedly doesn't know rabbits as well as she does dogs but even then. If she knows what this rabbit looks like it shouldn't be too hard to find it? She just has to check the cafes. He's probably in one of them at least.

Though maybe initially she isn't sure how many there are it couldn't be that difficult an undertaking? Surely? Colette puts together a list with the names of each and goes through them, checking the rabbits. Of course she still gets distracted playing with them thinking they were still cute. But she is still there for a reason! So she tries to stay on task, asking the owners of the cafes or anyone else nearby if there were any rabbits that had been pets that were found and brought in or something. She has a note, a piece of paper with the basic information at least as she asks around. Glancing between it and the rabbits.]

He's an angora rabbit. His name is Sir Fuzzerton. I'm sure since he's lost he's alone and upset! We have to find him. Actually, I wonder if he had a collar, that would help.....wait, do rabbits wear collars? I'm not even sure what an angora rabbit looks like in comparison to others.

[Please help. Colette is much more clueless around rabbits. But she wants to help in hearing about a lost pet!]

Quest: Run, Snagglefoot!

[Colette.....is a klutz. That's well known enough back home given her tendency to leave Colette shaped imprints in walls she trips into, often tripping over air and it might be debatable in how much her wings helped with that in her flying. Not that she has said wings here but as she does manage to approach the thieves she.....yes. Yes she has just straight up tripped into one of them. Of course she has.

Which may or may not have others working with her to try find said thief basically just. Facepalming at her as she flails her arms in some attempt to keep her balance and fails, tripping right into Snagglefoot on his way to the stables.

And. Yes. Yes she is apologizing to him for it.......]

[Basically here if people want to do something else? She can probably be found alternatively practicing her Light magic, taking her huge Not Dog (that is not actually specifically Noishe, for those familiar) for walks or playing some sort of catch/frisbee like game with her new familiar. She's actually pretty good at throwing, given chakrams are her preferred weapon outside of her Angelic abilities back home. Or maybe she is crouching and petting and cooing at Every Single Dog she encounters.

Or just. Generally tripping over air because that's kinda also her Thing, obviously. Alas for all those poor walls with their Colette shaped imprints in them.]

[ Once he's sure she's okay, he accepts her hand and gets to his feet with her help. Dusting himself off, he then bends down to pick up his phone and looks it over. ]

No, it doesn't appear broken. [ Unlocking it, he checks a few apps and nods. ] Yeah, everything looks to be in order.

You sure you're all right, though?

Oh, good! At least it didn't break or anything. I'm not sure how fragile they are with dropping them or anything. We didn't have these sorts of things back home. But I'm fine! I trip over all the time, really.

[She's used to it. And at the least, he had stopped her from falling herself. So it all works out. Colette's just glad if he and his phone seem to be alright at least. Just because she's used to tripping over, doesn't mean she wants to in tripping into walls and people all the time like this.]

[ It definitely helps that he's...not too tall, so the drop wasn't from a great height.

He chuckles a little. ] I can understand that. I've been called a bit clumsy myself. [ "A bit". ] My name's Fenton. Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera.

Fenton. Alright. I'm Colette! Colette Brunel. I guess we can be clumsy together then.

[She giggles, giving a shrug and rubbing at the back of her head. It's no secret. Even here, already. Given her trademark tripping all over the place has meant the cliff beast had to catch her a few times. And she tripped into the wall of one of the rooms at the inn for example. It's just how things go, for her.]

[ He laughs a little. ] I suppose we will. It's good to meet you, Colette.

Have you been in this place long? If you don't mind me asking.

You too! But ah, I haven't been here too long yet? A few weeks or so.

[So she is still pretty new, really. She isn't entirely settled in yet but eventually she will be. It's just taking time in adjusting and all yet. It isn't like she is the only one to end up here and needing to figure things. So it isn't all so bad. At least, she figures. So far.]

What about you? You just arrived or....?

Yes, just a few days ago actually! So I'm still trying to find my way around town.

Oh! Well, um, were you looking for somewhere in particular? I kind of know my way around now, so maybe I can help?

[...hopefully without tripping into any walls and causing such commotion. But still. She wants to try and help and do her part in having at least been here a little longer! At the least, she is aware of the map on the phones if they got particularly lost. So Colette doesn't seem as worried on that happening.]

Not exactly. I was mostly just looking around to see what's here in the city. Although if you happen to know of any place I could purchase some electronic equipment, that would be a big help.

Electronics? Ah, I'm still not the most familiar. We weren't the most advanced, back at Iselia. In Sylvarant, we're in decline because of our having a low supply of Mana.

[She explains, apologetic and sheepish but she does glance around to the stores around in the immediate vicinity, pointing to one. She still does want to help? She is just. Not as familiar with that sort of thing.]

But um. Is that the sort of thing you're looking for? There?

Is that so? I'm sorry to hear that.

[ He's not quite sure what Mana is, or how it affects her world's technology. But hearing her world is in decline is unfortunate.

As he looks towards the store she indicates, he sees that it's specifically for smartphones. And while that isn't exactly what he's looking for, he does make a note of it on his phone. ]

Actually, that would be really useful to visit in the future.

It's alright. Things work out, apparently. Later on than I remember.

[Which. Might raise questions on how she is aware of that but. She has others here that recall more than she does on things back home. So that's helped in reassuring her some even if it's all a lot to take in. For her to adjust to.]

For these, right? [Gesturing to the phones.] We didn't have these back home. They're pretty amazing!

Really? Well that's good. [ That definitely would have confused him if he hadn't already met someone from his world that came from several months in his future.

Holding up his phone, he grins. ] Right? It's incredible what innovation and imagination can produce! This kind of technology is pretty common in my world, so it's nice to have something a little familiar here.

I'm just glad I think I've at least figured the basics. It took a little practice though....

[Learning to use the phone and all. She's getting the hang of it but it's still so new and different, so advanced compared to back home. She's sure if they had these that it would have been easier, when she initially tried to leave Lloyd behind at Iselia. In at least still being able to talk to him before he stubbornly caught up with them and insisted on coming with her.]

But then the most advanced I'd seen back home was um. Oh, the steam boat I think.

[Sylvarant had been in decline, after all. So it isn't the most advanced.]

[ Wow, their technology was really far behind. ]

Yup! Tethe'alla is more advanced than us in Sylvarant, with their prospering. Their having most of the Mana supply, apparently. But ah, I might take you up on that sometime.

[Colette is learning but it is still new to her. Still, she's trying and determined to figure it properly. She's still in awe of some of the things here, given how behind Sylvarant is back home and all being her only experience prior to this. She looks almost sheepish and apologetic even as she says she might take him up on the offer to help her figure this technology.]
