Arrival: Multiple Prompts [OPEN]
Who: Zelda and your character!
What: Getting acquainted shenanigans and anime tropes
When: Arrival
Where: Multiple locations
Warnings: None at the moment but please mark CW if needed.
1: The Red Spring
A: When the new arrivals reached the resort town, some were pretty tired. Zelda was one of those who was extremely exhausted as she was not used to traveling this much. She desperately needed to rest. So, when she checked in to her inn room, she didn’t even complain or see who her roommate was before plopping unceremoniously onto her twin sized bed and passing out. She would awaken a couple hours later to meet said roommate and be very confused and probably a little embarrassed.
She would also be quite intrigued by the various technological marvels, examining them like an overexcited puppy and wanting to test all of them them out. Though the video games may cause a friendly rivalry if she is challenged.
B: [Incoming Anime Trope! RIP Zelda's Dignity] After a most likely very awkward exchange between Zelda and her roommate, she decided to go investigate The Red Spring. The beauty and majesty of it reminded her of the Spring of Power and Spring of Courage that she had spent many long hours in prayer. However, there was something different about this one. It didn’t evoke anxiety in her. Instead she had more of a sense of peace. As she was still a bit tired, and she knew there was still a very long journey to the final destination, the rumors she had heard about the Spring having restorative and temporary energy enhancement properties lured her in.
So, she did exactly what she would have in her own world (though she would probably have soldiers standing guard), found the most secluded space and undressed (what are swimsuits? And It’s not like the prompt specified that they were provided.), laying her clothing out neatly on some flat rocks. Zelda waded into the Spring, immediately feeling the rejuvenating and relaxing effects. She may have relaxed a bit too much and neglected to pay attention to her surroundings. So should someone stumble upon her, she would probably die of mortification. Unless someone was courteous enough to help her out with this?
C: It also may have been possible that in her relaxation Zelda could have lost track of time and before she knew it, it was sunset and the Spring lit up in a bright red hue, evoking a feeling of panic in the princess. Yup, it also happened to be a full moon that night. Would she be able to return to shore before the water’s unpredictable effects got to her? And what if she wasn’t as alone as she thought
D: If she hasn’t died of mortification the night before, Zelda would have gone to the training grounds, early in the morning before departure, in hopes of discovering what type of magic she had been granted. Though a little hesitant, as magic had been a somewhat sore subject for her, her entire life, she would like to assist someone with their own training. She would probably be quite shocked if she received praise for her efforts as she had only received negative reinforcement from her father thus far.
2. Eat Well
A: The amount of food at the banquet would be astonishing to Zelda, even as she had been to many banquets before. And the tastes! How different than anything she had eaten back home. As much as she would want to indulge, she also had manners and would take a modest helping of the things she would like to try most and set out to one of the open spaces at the long banquet tables.
Perhaps she would meet a new acquaintance and hit it off well enough that they would be acceptable roommates? After all, living alone in a strange place would be pretty lonely.
3. Grail, and Grail and Grail Again?
A: If she hadn’t found a questing partner or group already, Zelda would be just stubborn enough to try to attempt the quest on her own. Of course it wouldn’t be surprising if she ended up getting herself into trouble with some beast or another and needs to be rescued by a friendly stranger? She’s not really the best fighter.
Wildcard!
A: Feel free to start your own top level with any other shenanigans you would like to have with Zelda!
((Hoping I did this right!))

1C, I loves me some anime tropes
And then suddenly spotting a red glow, shining from behind the barricade that separated the springs from the outside.
'Red Springs' was the town name, but was it really supposed to be this red? Dust hesitated, but the memory of the waters Lady Tethys controlled, and what had happened when he hadn't been fast enough, gave him the push he needed. If this was harmless, investigating it wouldn't hurt. After all, it was night, now. Who'd be using the springs this late?
(Dust had no experience with hot springs whatsoever.)
Breaking into a quick jog, he loped up to the barricade, then jumped. He might not be at his peak, but he'd been able to jump heights like this since the moment he first woke up. Landing lightly atop the barricade was no challenge at all.
Re: 1C, I loves me some anime tropes
Encountering another person out here this late was not what she was expecting, nor was she honestly, expecting to be out here this late; but that is exactly what happened as Zelda's cheeks flushed bright red, (and it wasn't just from the reflection off the water), as she found herself face-to-face with a complete stranger.
The princess was so stunned that it took her a moment to collect herself enough to even issue a command, though it was somewhat quiet and unconfident at first.
"A...avert your eyes!"
She looked away as if doing so herself would actually purge the embarrassing images from the stranger's mind, but quickly cleared her throat in an attempt to steady herself to try again.
"Go on..!"

And then the sudden reality of the situation hit him. Far from being some sort of danger, this was -- okay, it was definitely a danger, but not the kind you solved by hitting it with a sword. Despite his resolute no-eye-contact policy, and despite these people having skin rather than fur, he was pretty sure they covered up the same things that Warmbloods did, and pretty sure he'd made a serious tactical error.
His cheeks darkened, a blush half-hidden by his fur, as he quickly turned away.
"Uh.... sorry."
no subject
He even apologized.
Despite the situation being what it was, Zelda wasn't one to retaliate, especially with violence so he was safe there, but that didn't really solve the awkwardness of it all.
She couldn't really see too much of his face, but his posture indicated that he was just as mortified by the arrangement as the princess was.
"I... it's all right... an honest mistake, yes?"

1B, god poor zelda
How he managed to do all that with his eyes closed, no one will ever know. ]
Um. Here. Your clothes. I'm not looking, promise.
Re: 1B, god poor zelda
Though the young man was indeed, not looking, she couldn't help the warmth that spread to her cheeks.
She was so mortified that she couldn't even manage to speak as she quickly took the garments from him and ducked behind the nearest rock in order to redress. She emerged a few minutes later, flipping her hair back, as presentable as one could get when dressing as though their very life depended on it.
The princess made her way slowly back to him, pausing a few feet away, looking away briefly before awkwardly meeting his gaze. Her face was still colored in an obvious pink hue.
"Th...thank you..." she managed to choke out at length.
no subject
I-It's alright! I promise, I didn't see anything. Rather I should be apologizing to you for intruding. Please forgive me for that!
[ He even bows in apology. Hopefully she wouldn't be too mad. ]
no subject
She really hated to admit that part, as the constant escorts throughout Hyrule drove her insane, but in a strange place, it was probably better safe than sorry. When he bowed though, she watched curiously at the gesture. It wasn't one she was accustomed to, as a typical bow that royalty received consisted of a crouch down on one knee with ones head inclined.
"You are forgiven," she assured politely. "I do not intend to punish you or find any way to have you punished, as the blame is partially mine so you may rest easy at that. Besides," she paused looking out over the waters of the Spring, "Who knows what may have happened had you not shown up. The sudden change of color to the water was quite alarming to say the least. For that, you have my gratitude."
Not to mention, she wasn't really one to advocate for harsh punishment, even towards those who would make an attempt on her life, as had indeed happened before.
"By the way, my name is Zelda. By what name are you called, so that I might thank you properly?"

3-A (Lend a Hand)
The young man rushes in to check on her if she was alright, riding on his right shoulder is a little pink fluffball of a rodent-like creature squeaking nervously, looking for any monster at sight. While his control of kinetic magic isn’t exactly perfect, it appears that he has training hard to get it to be workable for him for a few days or weeks so far.
“Miss, are you alright?” he asks the princess.
Re: 3-A (Lend a Hand)
Zelda's heart was still racing as the young man who had come to her aid, rushed to her side and knelt down to check on her.
"I...I think so... " she nodded hesitantly, "You... weren't hurt on my account... were you?"
Of course it was now that the princess's own familiar, a cat-like creature that walked on two legs deigned to make an appearance, strolling nonchalantly out of thin air and subtly eyeing the rodent atop the teen's shoulder.
no subject
When he notices a cat-like creature having its eyes on his familiar though, he turns around and stares at the thing like it is a very naughty child, telling it, “Hey, no familiars eating familiars, got it?”

Zelda got to her feet and dusted herself off.
"And thank you, for saving me." she sighed, "It seems even in a whole other world, given whole other abilities, I'm still not suited for the battlefield."
The princess offered Harry a half-smile, "No matter how stubborn I am."
She turned her attention to her familiar at the young man's scolding, holding a finger up pointedly. "He's right you know. It could prove most inconvienient for everyone involved."
The Bakeneko scoffed, kicking the ground in a pout, and put its paws behind its head.
"I can heal... a bit..." Zelda addressed the young wizard frowning, "addmittedly, I'm not proficient by any means; but I'll help however I can."

This a good place to leave it?
Sure thing
2A
(I swear at some point I will have the time to do her icons!)
Re: 2A
She turned at the pounding of feet and stepped aside right as she was about to be 'glomped' narrowly missing the outstreached arms. She gave a sympathetic wince at the impending collision.
Re: 2A
Re: 2A
She winced again at the force of said impact and the injury her new friend had sustained, but was once again left speechless at the girl's ability to literally bounce back from things.
"Oh, you're hurt! Here, let me see."

Re: Also 2A
"Oh... I aplogize. Yes, yes you may."
She frowned a moment, still having a bit of trouble adjusting to not addressing the people here as subjects.
"I mean, please do." she offered, scooting over a bit to give him more room. She blinked a few times at the odd color choice of garment he wore, but shrugged it off. It wasn't her place to judge what might be considered completely normal in his world.
Sadly, his first pun was lost on her as she was too fixated on her own social awkwardness.
Re: Also 2A
If one fails to land, that's fine. He's got others.
Re: Also 2A
O... oh... she gave a light laugh when it clicked.
"So you're a comedian?" She commented, still smiling, "Perhaps you should engage in a friendly competition with the jesters?"
She wasn't meaning it in any hurtful way, the prospect did sound rather amusing.

3a (Lend a hand)
[ Fortunately for Zelda, she will find herself rescued by a literal knight in shining armor. Not only that, but a female knight in shining armor.
Her sword may be heavier than usual, but Saber is quickly able to leap in front of Zelda and push back the beast with a swing of her sword and a gust of wind from the Elemental Magic she's been practicing.
The beast does growl at Saber as it retreats, but the small red dragon perched on Saber's head starts growling in response. With that, the beast starts to leave and Saber relaxes her stance. ]
Are you alright, miss?
Re: 3a (Lend a hand)
However, it wouldn't be the first time she had found herself in such a position due to her own stubbornness, as the scene that unfolded was quite surreal, almost deja vu like.
A knight stood braced protectively in front of her, brandishing a sword and, deftly fending off the assailient.
Had it not been for the woman's voice bringing her out of her thoughts, reality slowly materializing around her, Zelda would have been positive it was some kind of strange time loop.
Well, even if the knight before her happened to be female, it wouldn't stop her from instinctively snapping into her royal demeanor. This would most likely also be obviously apparent to her rescuer.
"Yes, I appear to be unharmed." Zelda assured, "Thank you, Brave Knight."
no subject
I appreciate your kind words. [ She smiles calmly. ] I take it you are also attempting the quest for the grail?
no subject
"Indeed, I am," she affirmed. "Unfortunately, they do not teach princesses many adventuring skills, not that I would have had time to learn anyway, and my own knight was not brought here along with me. At least to my knowledge."
Zelda didn't even bother to hide the fact that she was a princess from the knight, as someone accustomed to royalty would automatically know, without her even having to disclose it, just by demeanor, manner of speech, and dress alone.
"I am Zelda Nayru Bosphoramus Hyrule. Princess and heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Hyrule. By what name do I call you, the one who kindly came to my rescue? And from where do you hail?"
