[ Even with the rain, Razor wanted to spend time out in the woods and exploring. He didn't mind the cool water hitting him even when it shifted to a heavy, pouring rain. He was hanging out at the edge of town and making his way to hit some trees where he'd be able to find some rabbits and squirrels to hunt.

Maybe you are passing him on the way back towards the city to get inside. Maybe you are making your way to the forest and trees because you have the same idea.

Regardless, when he hears someone passing, he turns, watching. ]

Hunting?

[ Mona misses her Hydromancy. When the fresh crisp rains plaster along her tiny frame. Collecting itself unto the shapes of her hat, slipping past its ribbons and finely woven shapes. The woman below it looks unto her clasped hands having collected bits of rain within. She pears into it, attempting to draw the power of her astrolabe into working. However, the magic of her world does not answer to her, and instead all that remains. Is of the water cupped within the palms of her hands.

She misses how simple it were, the fresh bits of rain were a wonderful choice for scry readings. No less were the fresh melted snows of Dragonspire. Yet the empty rain, that did not answer to her magics nor reflected the lines of the sky. Seemed to give into her yearning answers. A subtle sigh escapes her lips, and she is surprise to hear a voice come from behind her.

Adjusting, she turns allowing for the water held within her palms to fall unto the floor. ]

Oh - ? You are.... Razor no?

[ Mona questions, acknowledging that the other was someone she has heard of - if because of Lisa herself. ]

You are here as well..?

[ He nods in response to it. It's not surprising to him when people know him, especially those from home. Especially those where his experience or knowledge of them is in passing, and often without a name attached. He brings his hand to his chest as he looks around. ]

Yes.

[ His familiar appears at his side, a wolf, ghostly and large. Razor reaches over to place a hand on his head and then looks towards it, then back to her. ]

A little while.

[ Not very long. ]

Just got here?

[ He asks it because he understands that's the polite thing to ask. Plus, he hadn't seen her around out here. He glances behind him, back towards the city. The population, the noise, the energy of the place. It was not something he actively enjoyed. So, despite the weather, he was going to enjoy his time out here. ]

Woods best.

[ It's so matter of fact. ]

[ The wolf garners' a curious look from her - was this a representation of Andrius? She kept it in mind, and was glad that for whatever reason. The wolf itself was not exhibiting signs of aggression to her. The familiar that she had, rested beneath her hat. Flitting its tiny wings below it as it rested by her hairs bow. As if looking like a bow itself beside her pigtail.

She still did not know why a Lunar Moth, of all familiars. However, it did not talk to her and so she found no reason to question it. ]

Yes, I got here not that long ago. I am surprised to see more familiar faces as time passes too - but I suppose it makes sense. All of our fates are intertwined.

Hmm... Are you hunting... ? Or?

[ Mona herself came out here.. To look for food, she was use to living off the land when she were younger and during her time in Mondstat. Living off of the mushroom from her home. ]

[ Razor's hand rests intently on the wolf, and it stands firmly at his side. It doesn't flinch or move at all. Instead, it periodically peeks up at Razor, and looks fairly calm otherwise. ]

Lots from home.

[ "Lots" was really only a few that he knew. But he had seen some people around, too. Even the ones he didn't know, he could tell they were from his home if they had their Visions on them, not useful as they were. ]

Yes. Hunt. Need meat to eat.

[ And whatever else. Given, he has done plenty of quests now and could probably, reasonably, just go buy food. But he liked to hunt. ]

Oh good! Fate would have it ordained that I come upon you at this moment, perhaps we can help each other in retrospect? [ Mona all too readily focuses on the subject at hand. ] I of course, am not adamant at hunting but I do have a good hand on some of my magic. It will be of good use to the both of us. [ Even if it was useless, in terms of reading the future or the stars. The rain was good as well, it meant she was pre disposed to using it as she willed. ]

[ He blinks, watching her and nodding when she speaks. Even at things he doesn't fully get. He's fine with that, because he does understand the idea of helping each other. And that doesn't sound so bad. ]

Okay. Help. What magic?

I can manipulate water - the same way I use to be able to manipulate it on our world. With some issues though - that said I am more attuned to Light Magic? Strangely enough, however all I've been able to do with it is create... Star Lights.

[ Mona had yet to touch the surface of Light magic, and currently had been trying to find books about it. Her familiarity with water made her focus on that element, however her stronger capability actually relayed on her manipulation of Light.

To showcase her ability, she covers her hands together. Thereupon small flickers of light shine through beneath her fingers. Inevitably when her palms open up, a small tiny star of light floats there within her hands. ]

Do you know about Light Magic?

[ Probably not, but she is not one to judge ones intelligence without at least asking for the others opinion upon it. She is open minded, and welcome to know anything of what others may know beyond her. ]

No. No light. Uhm - talk to animals. And...use lightning like home.

[ He forms the words carefully as he answered. But, as usual, it's fairly straightforward. Animal magic was so simple for him. It was about as straightforward as magic could get. Just talk with a clear mind.

Elemental Magic hasn't been as easy to grasp because sometimes, given what he can do, he uses things like fire or water instead of electricity. There's more to it than he had ever thought. Still, he hoped that he had lightning was clear enough as far as magic type. ]

Teachers, though, right?

[ He thinks he had heard of them, although he hasn't done any schooling personally. ]

[Nanaki isn't against the food in the city; it's convenient, easy to get, and rather tasty depending on where he goes. And he doesn't mind getting his exercise by walking around or doing quests around town. But for as easy as it is to get food and as much exercise he can get around the city, he does long for the wilds from time to time. He's more than just a savage animal, but he's a being of the wilds at heart; he sometimes misses being able to run, and stalk, and hunt. So on occasion, he goes out into the woods to stretch his legs and hone his hunting skills.]

[The rain is a little unpleasant, but it's a good challenge to see if he can still track scents in the damp weather. He's considering following a trail he's caught scent of this morning when he pauses, his ears flicking as he catches the sound of something moving. And when he goes to investigate, he realizes it's not a something, but a someone.]

...yes, I am. I apologize if I startled you.

[ Razor looks at him, his attention shifting from the focus on the hunt to the focus on his new companion. Who talked to him. Which wasn't that weird considering he had animal magic, so the best he can assume is that an animal is talking to him. But, he's never seen one like this before.

He takes a couple of steps to approach and close the difference. ]

Not startled. I'm Razor.

[ He tilts his head. ]

You name?

[What a strange human... A cursory sniff tells him that the boy smells different from other humans. More wild, like the forest they're in, and... was that the faint scent of wolf on him? Hmm...]

I am Nanaki. I came out here to hunt. But if this is your territory, I can hunt elsewhere.

Uh --

[ He pauses, trying to put together words. It takes him a moment and he stumbles quietly to himself over them. He's gotten better since he got here, at least a little.He talks to a lot more people, too. ]

No territory. Everyone's. Can hunt, too.

[ nods. ]

Can stay with. Doesn't bother. Lots rabbits.

[feralhumanity]

Hmm. If you are sure.

[Nanaki nods in understanding. If Razor is okay with him hunting here, then he'll go ahead and hunt. Although, if this boy is also hunting...]

Would you mind hunting together? Hunts are more successful in packs.

[wuf]

Okay! Lots rabbits. Can hunt together.

[ His answer comes fast. He likes animals. He doesn't necessarily do well in large crowds, but a small hunting group would be normal at home, and he has missed it since. ]

Have pack at home?

[ Razor nods earnestly. ]

I have pack, too.

[feralhumanity]

Right. Let us go.

[Nanaki is more than okay to go on a good hunt, even with this strange boy. He shakes his head at the question.]

Not exactly. My pack is very, very small. I usually hunt alone.

[There are very few members of his species left, and his opportunities to hunt with others of his kind were rare. And then afterwards, most of his hunting was either solo or alongside Cloud and the others.]

Is your pack a wolf pack? I have not hunted with wolves before.

[wuf]

Yes. Wolf. My family is wolf.

[ They were the most important to him, after all. They were more important than humans. They did more for him than humans, too. They raised him, taught him, and he is alive because of them. So he always returned the favor. ]

Oh. Can hunt with me anytime.

[ He nods. He likes quiet company and this guy seemed like that. He went quiet after he spoke and listened around for any cracks of branches or leaves - or even an animal's voice. ]

Right first.

[tantailizing]

Huh?

[Zidane didn't know if he'd run into anyone this soon heading out into the woods, but turning his head, he sees a boy there and the question replays in his head. Once it does, he shakes his head.]

Nah, not today. I'm doing some exploring... getting to know the place since I got here a while back.

[wuf]

Oh.

[ He loves to be out early in the woods. It surprises him that others are up, too. It's not that he never encounters people out here, but usually he doesn't encounter many, and rarely earlier on. He especially didn't expect it considering the ongoing rain. ]

Adventure?

[tantailizing]

[Zidane nods with a smile.]

Pretty much! You wanna come with me?

[wuf]

[ Well - he supposed a hunt could wait in favor of adventure. ]

Okay. Will adventure. Where?

[tantailizing]

[Huh, someone seemed excited.]

Anywhere really. The more we explore the better!

[wuf]

Oh. Yes.

[ He takes a few steps forward into the woods. ]

Forest always good.

[ It's his favorite spot. ]

Come?

[tantailizing]

Right behind you.

[The guy speaks in clipped sentences, but Zidane doesn't find that too odd. At least it's not always about food...]

[Now then, what would they find today?]

[ As he started into the forest that he knew parts of, Razor kept his ears and eyes open. He's fairly quiet company. But, he doesn't mind if someone else talks to him along the way. He'd swerve to the right, because he hasn't gone that way many times, he doesn't know it so well as the rest of the place.

He spares a glance towards the other. ]
