[The guy speaks in clipped sentences, but Zidane doesn't find that too odd. At least it's not always about food...]

[Now then, what would they find today?]

[ As he started into the forest that he knew parts of, Razor kept his ears and eyes open. He's fairly quiet company. But, he doesn't mind if someone else talks to him along the way. He'd swerve to the right, because he hasn't gone that way many times, he doesn't know it so well as the rest of the place.

He spares a glance towards the other. ]

I'm Razor.

[tantailizing]

[It's a quiet walk, but that's fine. At the moment, he's more taking in the environment so there's no need for immediate discussion.]

[Still, he's back at attention when the other guy is speaking his way.]

I'm Zidane. Do you come out to the forest often, Razor?

[wuf]

Stay here. Don't like city. Noisy.

[ That is -- he likes to sleep in the woods. And he hopes that's clear but he knows sometimes the way he speaks isn't clear to everyone. He looks to Zidane for confirmation of his understanding. ]

Sometimes at inn. Usually here. Best place.

[ Without a doubt, he loves it here. ]

That's fair. Cities can be pretty loud. And if you don't grow up in one, it's not the best place to stay.

[Hell, where he lives, he shares boarding with a large bell.]

The inn for the occasional convenience? Sounds like you have it all worked out.

[Huh... but now that he thinks about it, he'll have to work out some kind of living arrangements here.]

Know people there.

[ But that's the only reason he really even bothers with the inn - because friends and people he cares about are there. Otherwise, he'd never return. He doesn't really think it's all that convenient either. ]

Stay there?

[ About the inn, he says, glancing towards Zidane. ]

Or you have place?

[ Just because he's never seen the guy doesn't mean he's new here, right? ]

Ah, friends. That makes a little more sense.

[Raising a hand to his chin, Zidane tilts his head back and forth.]

Not sure. I got here a while ago now and I'm cool living in the city, but the technology... Eh, I'll figure something out, or just crash where I feel like it.

Woods...quiet.

[ He quietly looks away. He likes the peace and quiet, but he still likes his friends, so having both options means the best of both worlds for him. ]

P...[ he's trying to remember ] Phones weird. Don't like either.

[ A smile. ]

Doors nice, though. Safe.

[tantailizing]

Right? I've gotten used to it, but that doesn't make it less weird.

[He likes the part of taking photos mainly.]

[Zidane nods in agreement.]

Having a roof is pretty good too when the weather turns.

Yeah. If cold or too rainy.

[ Which he's used to periodic rain. He's lived outside his entire life, after all. But it has been pretty intense lately. ]

Raining lots lately.

[ He glances towards Zidane. ]

Will learn, though. When here longer and longer.

Always learn. Zidane will, too.

At least it's rain and not snow. But a wet season here, huh?

[Maybe it was spring then? So... summer might be soon?]

That's right. We'll get a better idea what everything's like in no time.

Oh. Don't mind snow. Warm is favorite, though.

[ Most comfortable. Not as much need to find shelters, and he could just sleep where he pleased. ]

Eventually. Hopefully. Not bad here. Many friends.

Same. I don't mind the snow either, but I also don't like long sleeves.

[Too much to move with and always gets caught or torn...]

That's good. Your friends in town might worry if it was rough, but you look like you'd be able to take care of yourself anyway.
