Sir Fuzzlerton
[ Not exactly the most adventurous quest there is, but hey, she'll take it - because she has aterrible brilliant idea. Her familiar is a female moon bunny, and if that's what the missing fella wants...
Which is why she has the bun on a table outside, surrounded by flowers, and maybe a romantic candle or two. Della steps back to admire her handiwork, holding her fingers out like a camera frame. ]
I think we nearly got it... Once he realizes this beauty is out and open, it'll be a piece of cake! Now, primp yourself up, Amelia! Strut your stuff! Be the most beautiful bunny there is!
[ ... the bun just nibbles on one of the flowers.]

Run Snagglefoot
[ now this is more her style - subduing thieves and reclaiming treasure! However, as much as she'd like to play spy games... she, in a world of human/human-looking folk, does tend to stick out... since, well. She's a duck.
Still, she's not one to give up so easily! It's late at night, and she's standing outside of the Red Spring Inn, peering in through a window, and muttering (loudly) to herself. ]
Della Duck lays in wait for the criminal mastermind to make his move... maybe I should go in for a left hook, then follow up with a stomach blow, then bonk his head while he's doubled over... Sounds good to me!

Farmers-R-Us
[ And now for something completely different - for Della. But she's excited for farm work - because to her, it meant socializing time! What better way to make new friends than with a hard day's work! Uncle Scrooge would be so proud of her! She decides to go up to the first person she sees, calmly ask them for advice, and see if they can find a way to use their combined skills to help everyone out on the fields.
She chooses her words poorly. ]
Hi, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!

Wildcard - woods
It wasn't that she was specifically hiding. That was just how she was. At home too. But she also wasn't bothered by the lack of two-legger company. She had the squirrels and birds and other wildlife to talk to, after all!
But today she was down on the ground. She had found a bush full of berries. Some were a little early yet, and tart for it. Yeeech. But there were sweet ones in there too, she knew. She trusted in the berries. So her deft little fingers were going from branch to branch lightly, plucking berries without dislodging twigs or leaves.
She was crouched beside the bush, wings pale flickering white and spread behind her as she happily feasted on her breakfast, tucking some of the tarter ones into her pouch to share with those who prefer tart berries.

The humans - and creatures who looked like humans - were still pretty weird to her... but they were a step above the monstrosities from Donald's wish. Those were the stuff of nightmares.
So, when Della spots the young lady, her overly social tendencies kicked in. "Hi there!"

She popped a berry in her mouth as she waited to see if the new pair before her would say anything else.

To be fair, after ten years of eating only black-licorice-flavored-oxy-chew, Della loved almost all food.

"So, you a native here? Or are you on Team Yanked From Another World?"

She stroked a leaf gently, like one might pet a delicate cat. She... missed him. Missed Eo Hallia and Gwynnia, and of course Arbassa and even Cwen, even after everything. She missed the Druma and the River Unceasing. She was making new friends here, but having not found Elen, there were days she wondered if she had made the wrong choice.

Also Woods
Kyoko was walking through the woods in an eye-smarting toxic pink worker's coverall that had been described, back home, as "A curse that once you see you can never unsee". The top was open a bit, showing off the white shirt under that somehow made the pink seem even brighter. She had what looked like a brown bowling pin hitched to either side of her belt, though on one hip it was not quite centered because right over the hit was a white pouch that was part of the belt.
She wasn't walking quietly, though. She was staring around, as if transfixed and occasionally yelling "COOOOOOOOORRRRRRRN! CORN! COOOOORRRRRRN!"
In between bouts of yelling, the teenager would get a goofy look on her face and start randomly skipping about or twirling, and even occasionally squeeing. She loved woods like this, always had since she was a kid. Because it was in the woods that she had met a Fairy for the first time. "COOOOOOORN!!!!"

... But it's still pretty high up there.
She watches in faint amusement, tilting her head every which way, before deciding to 'participate'.
"BROCCOLI!"

Please be a faerie, please be a faerie, please be a faerie!
no subject
Just to be sure, she pointed at herself. "You mean me? Cause I'm not a faerie." Though if someone in the McDuck bloodline had some fae to them, she wouldn't be wholly surprised.

Speaking of Pink - Tavern
Finishing, he took his bows, and he money, with a huge smile. He swung his guitar to settle on his back by its strap, and paid the owner their share before finding an empty stool to sit and take a breather. He wanted food and a drink, but he'd been a Bard long enough to learn that if he didn't order immediately, there was a chance that someone would offer to treat. So he'd give it a few minutes...

Any good DND-player knew plenty of quests began in taverns! Though not many sessions had loud rock-n-roll music...not that she was complaining. Far from it - what an epic soundtrack!
Which would explain the hearty - and hard- slap on the back he'd get once he'd taken a seat.
"Dude, that was wicked sweet!"
no subject
"Thanks," he said with a grin. "I don't perform that one as much anymore, so it is good to get back to my roots every once in a while."
As far as he was concerned, even though the song was his creation, it now belonged to Greg. But he knew his boy wouldn't mind him borrowing it back every now and again. Especially now that Greg was exploring new avenues with his music.

Sir Fuzzlerton
Oh ah- forgive me, Miss Duck. I'm not laughing at either of you. [It's just terribly funny.]

Really? Are you sure? Because it sure sounds like you're laughing.
[ She doesn't mind - it's a very silly situation, after all. ]
