[ Not exactly the most adventurous quest there is, but hey, she'll take it - because she has a terrible brilliant idea. Her familiar is a female moon bunny, and if that's what the missing fella wants...

Which is why she has the bun on a table outside, surrounded by flowers, and maybe a romantic candle or two. Della steps back to admire her handiwork, holding her fingers out like a camera frame. ]

I think we nearly got it... Once he realizes this beauty is out and open, it'll be a piece of cake! Now, primp yourself up, Amelia! Strut your stuff! Be the most beautiful bunny there is!

[ ... the bun just nibbles on one of the flowers.]

 

Run Snagglefoot

[ now this is more her style - subduing thieves and reclaiming treasure! However, as much as she'd like to play spy games... she, in a world of human/human-looking folk, does tend to stick out... since, well. She's a duck.

Still, she's not one to give up so easily! It's late at night, and she's standing outside of the Red Spring Inn, peering in through a window, and muttering (loudly) to herself. ] 

Della Duck lays in wait for the criminal mastermind to make his move...  maybe I should go in for a left hook, then follow up with a stomach blow, then bonk his head while he's doubled over... Sounds good to me!

 

Farmers-R-Us

[ And now for something completely different - for Della. But she's excited for farm work - because to her, it meant socializing time! What better way to make new friends than with a hard day's work! Uncle Scrooge would be so proud of her! She decides to go up to the first person she sees, calmly ask them for advice, and see if they can find a way to use their combined skills to help everyone out on the fields.

She chooses her words poorly. ]

Hi, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!

Not quite what he meant, but that was fine. "So is your life all adventures and food back home? Or is all the fighting of the food variety?" Food fights, get it?

"Mostly adventures." Della chuckles. "My family travels the world to find treasure!"

He grinned. "since you're treating, I'll spare you the obligatory 'family was the real treasure all along' moral, and just say that that sounds fun. We mostly travel to save people from scraps, or more recently to save the world itself."

[sos_pilot]

"Oh, we do that too on occasion." Della adds casually. "After all, when we're hunting something dangerous, it's likely someone bad wants their hands on it too."

[donovan_deegan]

"Ah," he said. Then he grinned. "But have you ever saved a town with music?"

[sos_pilot]

"I haven't, but my brother has!" She said cheerfully, very proud of Donald. "He and his band-mates took down man-eating plants with their big hit!"

"Now this is a story I have got to hear," he said with a grin.

[sos_pilot]

"I wasn't there for it, but from what I was told, Uncle Scrooge took the kids and my brother Donald to see Donald's college band-mates and take part in a festival in a remote village. Scrooge was more interested in the festival, since apparently it was rare and no one knew anything about it. Turns out it was just a ruse for the man-eating plants to lure people in and chomp."

She even made chomp-chomp motions with her hand.

He could spin this up for sure. "And how did they use the music to save the day?"

[sos_pilot]

"Aside from beating the snot out of them with their instruments, apparently Donald's singing is so bad it can make plants explode."

He opened his mouth to reply. And for once... he wasn't quite sure what to say. "I'm generally used to people on the other end of the scale musically," he finally managed.
