⚔️️ WHAT: After the Animal Mage Hunt last month, Della is throwing a small shindig to help them all relax. Food, games, face paint, and awkward questions for everyone. You don't have to be an animal mage/animal person to come, everyone's invited!

Delightful Decorations
Do you miss your ears and tail from the temporary spell the month before? There’s a box to slightly cure that! It’s filled with fake animal decorations including cat-ear headbands, fluffy fox tails to clip on your pants, feathery wings to hang on your shoulders, and so on. If you’re feeling a bit more colorfully creative, there’s also face paint! Pick a partner to practice on!

Food Festivities
What’s a party without grub? There’s a big wooden table surrounded by little wooden chairs so you can get your snack on. In keeping with the theme, there are cookies shaped like cat-heads, sandwiches cut to resemble webbed duck feet, and plenty of veggie platters for those who feel they can’t eat what they resembled for a while. At least the tea is normal. Feel free for your character to have brought along their own food to share as well!

Games Galore
Why sit around when you can get some exercise? The easy to play Pin The Tail On The Griffin, where you’re blindfolded and have to pin the tail on the paper griffin on a tree… and hopefully no one else. Or make Tag way more exciting by trying to grab one of the fake tails from earlier off of your friend’s butt! Since you’re in the woods, there’s also a contest to see who can climb trees the fastest! The prize is bragging rights. And maybe a cupcake.

AMA - Animal Edition
Let’s face it -when you’re surrounded by all kinds of new species, you get curious. Here’s your chance to clear the air and learn something new – there’s a big red chair with a label on the back – ASK ME ANYTHING. Anyone who sits in it is volunteering to answer whatever is asked of them. Of course, there’s no guarantee it’ll be the truth… you trolls know who you are.

As a reminder, according to our lovely locations page, “It is cautioned against magic in these woods, as the mystical forces within tend to interfere and cause them to go awry.” We definitely wouldn’t want that happening, wink wink nudge nudge.

Asterios has been living in the forest for some time, mostly to be AWAY from people, so as he walks into this party area, he is very puzzled. He's not going to boot them out or anything, but he will awkwardly stand there for a moment or two in confusion.

He'll try to grab a few things of veggies before awkwardly trying to make an exit. Feel free to stop him. ]

[Everyone seemed to love throwing parties every month now. Kinda took the surprise away, but hey, free food was always a welcome tradeoff. Though Homura was surprised in seeing a certain familiar face in attendance. She casually walks over to the Berserker.]

Food Festivities (Did Someone Said Brownies?)
(As he had promised to Della in the network, Harry is more than happy to bring boxes of brownies (of the triple chocolate kind) to the party. The young man have been spending Thursday afternoon and Friday morning to make the brownies in his current studio flat; despite only having one oven, he manages to make due and bake more than enough brownies to feed large crowds. Molly Weasley would’ve been very proud of her honorary son and one Ron’s best friends right now for baking this many brownies within a short amount of time. It’s no easy feat but he is able to do with what he has learned from her and Archer’s cooking lessons.

Since it does get chilly at night with fall arriving, he gets dressed in a deep blue henley top, a pair of regular wash jeans, and a pair of white trainers along with the khaki jacket in case it gets cold.

Placing the boxes of brownies down on table with kinetic magic, he begins to open them up one by one and begins to offer anyone a brownie (or 2 or 10) to eat up. Enjoy some delicious home-baked brownies!)

Games Galore (Pin the Tail on the Griffin)
(It looks like it’s his turn to play Pin the Tail on the Griffin and he is kinda hesitant to go initially, but after some convincing, he goes right it: blindfolded without his glasses on as he tries to find the tailless Griffin picture to place its tail on.

Just watch out for him accidentally pinning the tail on you: he can’t see right now without his glasses and Rose and Hedwig want to apologize for any accidents that could happen.)

Fenton was always happy to help out with things, so when he heard about the party Della was throwing of course he got to work. He mostly helped set things up, and at the moment was currently setting out more food on the table.

Setting out a few plates of ladybug crackers, he glanced up at anyone approaching the table with a smile. "Hey there!" he greeted. "Feel free to have some!"

[Robyn's relieved that the whole animal hunting mage fiasco is resolved. Luckily she'd found somewhere safer to stay until the whole thing blew over, but she already knows what it's like to be hunted down and she'd rather not go through with that again.

For her part, she's brought some chocolate chip cookies to share. They're a little misshapen since this is her first time making them, but they taste pretty good otherwise, as she confirms when taking a bite of one.]

I'm glad chocolate is so easy to get here. You couldn't buy it anywhere I lived back home.

[Games like these may seem kind of overplayed to most people, but Robyn is still young enough to enjoy them. She seems especially enthusiastic about the tree climbing race, since she's always felt at home in the woods.]

I'm pretty used to climbin' trees. Think you can beat me?

[This feels a little awkward, but if it's part of the celebration Robyn may as well take part. She sits in the chair, looking a little embarrassed.]

(The appearance doesn’t matter too much as long as they taste good. Harry is still happy that Robyn is able to learn to make the chocolate chip cookies on her first try and her biting onto one is more than enough to convince him to take one as well.

Oh wow, these really taste good, Robyn. I bet that one of my friends’ Mum will be happy to try them out if she is also here with us.

[In Robyn's time, architecture has yet to advance enough that buildings can be taller than trees, so she's having a hard time picturing that.]

As soon as Carlos gets to the party, he finds, right on the top of the box, a pair of Dalmatian ears and a corresponding tail. Staring for a moment, he facepalms, and dutifully puts them on. He's rather predictable when it comes down to it.

Oh. Tree climbing. That sounds like fun. Carlos is right in the thick of the climbers. He's not the fastest, but he's also not the slowest. Really, he missed climbing trees. It's somewhat frowned upon in Auradon.

Eventually, he gets to a high branch, sits there for a moment, and just looks out over the party, watching people.

Della's only a branch below him now, and cheerfully waves up at him, pleased to find new faces to befriend. Yeah, we're gunna be besties now.

Seeing someone she kind of recognizes, Amy comes over to investigate. "Hey, Carlos!" she greets. "That's a good look for you."
