🧙 WHO: Della Duck & You!
⚔️️ WHAT: After the Animal Mage Hunt last month, Della is throwing a small shindig to help them all relax. Food, games, face paint, and awkward questions for everyone. You don't have to be an animal mage/animal person to come, everyone's invited!
🕒 WHEN: First Weekend of the Month.
🗺️ WHERE: Brocéliande, a.k.a the local forest.
⚠️ WARNINGS: N/A.
Delightful Decorations
Do you miss your ears and tail from the temporary spell the month before? There’s a box to slightly cure that! It’s filled with fake animal decorations including cat-ear headbands, fluffy fox tails to clip on your pants, feathery wings to hang on your shoulders, and so on. If you’re feeling a bit more colorfully creative, there’s also face paint! Pick a partner to practice on!
Food Festivities
What’s a party without grub? There’s a big wooden table surrounded by little wooden chairs so you can get your snack on. In keeping with the theme, there are cookies shaped like cat-heads, sandwiches cut to resemble webbed duck feet, and plenty of veggie platters for those who feel they can’t eat what they resembled for a while. At least the tea is normal. Feel free for your character to have brought along their own food to share as well!
Games Galore
Why sit around when you can get some exercise? The easy to play Pin The Tail On The Griffin, where you’re blindfolded and have to pin the tail on the paper griffin on a tree… and hopefully no one else. Or make Tag way more exciting by trying to grab one of the fake tails from earlier off of your friend’s butt! Since you’re in the woods, there’s also a contest to see who can climb trees the fastest! The prize is bragging rights. And maybe a cupcake.
AMA - Animal Edition
Let’s face it -when you’re surrounded by all kinds of new species, you get curious. Here’s your chance to clear the air and learn something new – there’s a big red chair with a label on the back – ASK ME ANYTHING. Anyone who sits in it is volunteering to answer whatever is asked of them. Of course, there’s no guarantee it’ll be the truth… you trolls know who you are.
As a reminder, according to our lovely locations page, “It is cautioned against magic in these woods, as the mystical forces within tend to interfere and cause them to go awry.” We definitely wouldn’t want that happening, wink wink nudge nudge.

"Uh, let's see...If I had to pick one, it was probably my first date with this girl I like? At the time, I was really worried about calling it a first date, because I didn't want to pressure her or anything, and it was really just about conducting some science experiments. But I had a couple of friends helping me set up, and they were very convinced it was a date, so they were doing everything they could to 'set the mood'."

A bit of a sigh trailed on his tone as he recalled that evening, his eyes going a bit distance. It had still been an unforgettable night for him, in more ways than one.

Minako seems completely dumbfounded. It's not that she doubts his feelings, since he seems pretty sincere while describing them like this, but it's still entirely wild to her. To be able to feel something over that, of all things...

Sorry, Fenton. Minako doesn't even mean it as an insult, really, since her tone sounds weirdly genuine and like she's thinking all at the same time. It's just the strangest thing ever to try and wrap her head around.

See, that's what Minako is trying to figure out here. She's slowly putting these facts together, contemplating them.. And it does leave only one question in her mind. Which she just asks, because that's how Minako works. Who needs a brain to mouth filter?

And since she feels like he might run through the same argumentation as before, Minako quickly holds up a hand towards him, as if to tell Fenton to stop before he even starts.
She shakes her head. "Being from different times is no excuse! I mean.. yeah, it's a little awkward. I get that. But if you like her, and she likes you, then what's the big issue? Why should you stop yourself from being with her, just because it's awkward? That's a real sucky reason to hold yourself back!"

The reasons for not dating Gandra right away had all made sense in his head, but...wasn't the whole point of dating getting to know each other anyway? And sure, it might be awkward, but...well, he hadn't actually asked Gandra how she feels about the matter, come to think of it.
Looking at it that way, he didn't really have a good reason not to go for it.
"I...You're right," he finally manages after a moment. "I guess there isn't any reason why we couldn't try it at least, right?" He rubs the back of his head. "I...suppose I was just nervous."
Which sounds lame, he knows, but what else could he say?

It makes her smile for once, and rather than harassing him, she instead seems to be in a good mood for once.
"I'm glad you figured it out!" You know, even if he did need some nudges from her.. "Everyone's a little nervous when it comes to dating, so try to not focus on that! Just focus on how much you like her!"

Even if she had just given him advice that someone else might probably give, she certainly seemed like she knew what she was talking about. And the advice coming from her at all probably means something.
