Beach Party:

[Colette is just relieved things worked out in everyone figuring various items from the shipwreck below and is happy to celebrate and relax with everyone. Which of course includes her getting in there in enjoying some snacks and games. Though she is rather clumsy so maybe. Not in obtaining a bat for the watermelon but offering it to someone else. And probably tripping into someone else if she tries to play with the beach balls. Or possibly still figuring that concept of aiming in not being used to guns at all if someone gives her a water gun to try. She may soak someone else other than her intended target?]

Kidnapped:

[Just because Colette can fight? Doesn't mean she necessarily wants to. Not if she can help it. So she certainly wouldn't be the one throwing the first punch or kick, as it were. If necessary, if this is what it takes to get them out, she'd let her opponent win. But she isn't sure if that would get them back home. Isn't sure what to do. There's so many others, after all. She can't just leave them here.]

What should we do? I don't want to fight. I don't want to leave everyone here like this. There has to be some way to get out of this.

[Look if you spend enough time with Lloyd, being stubbornly optimistic pays off somehow? Right?]

Birthday:

[She's turning seventeen at the end of the month. And.....hasn't had a party before. Short of that one time she turned twelve and Lloyd made her that pendant, Genis making her that cake they shared together with the three of them. So this concept is new to her at least in the sense of it being a celebration on her birthday that isn't the church. That's about her as Colette and not celebrating being another year closer to her Journey as the Chosen. She'd mentioned it, but still wasn't necessarily sure on what to expect for it, what she wanted since she hasn't done this before.

But even so. Since she was here and made friends and all. It might at least distract her from Lloyd being absent in particular. But she will certainly enjoy some cake and thank anyone that joins her for celebrating, with Emerald in tow and licking most anyone present as her gratitude in everyone caring for Colette as they enjoy a day at the park outside.]

...!? Colette!?

[... Y'know, he's almost not surprised that she was kidnapped, but she's also the last person on the list to kidnap ever??? Hnnn, but he wasn't going to say that... ooor throw the first punch or kick or anything. His actual immediate response to being in the ring with her was to flip off the audience.]

E-eh? Zidane?

[It isn't like she doesn't get kidnapped back home. But still. Colette hadn't figured there's anything special about her here to warrant it, that anyone here would care about her being the Chosen. So it's not exactly something she was expecting. Let alone that her friends would get caught up in this too. She's even more hesitant in fighting in seeing him with her here.]

Is....are you okay?

[Clearly not. Neither of them are, but. Well. She isn't anticipating him reacting like this?]

Me? I'm fine. What about you?

[Not the total truth, but not an outright lie. He's pretty quick to adapt and survive hostile events like this one, but her...? It didn't sound like her world might do the whole 'illegal fighting ring' thing when it already had a human farm problem.]

Have you been in any fights before me?

Me? Ah, I'm okay.

[Physically, at least. Even if she is more vulnerable without her Cruxis Crystal working. Lessened senses and strength as a result and all. But that's been the default in her state since arriving here at Camelot and all. So it's fine and the usual on her end. She shakes her head in answer to his question on other fights.]

No? I haven't yet. But I don't want to fight....

[tantailizing]

Good. Good…

[But how long was that gonna last? The audience doesn’t sound happy with them just talking, but no one said ‘go’ yet either. Not that ‘go’ would make him do anything. He’s not about to fight unless they throw a monster in.]

I don’t wanna either. And they’ll have to get used to that.

Have to get used to us not fighting? That's what they want though, right? Won't they get mad?

[What were they supposed to do? She isn't sure. But she doesn't want to fight him. The only time she might have is with sparring, practice but even then it wasn't serious when she did with friends back home to keep from getting too rusty on their journey. As Kratos had been teaching Lloyd in downtime and such as well. She bites her lower lip, glancing to the crowd who seem to be starting to get restless in waiting.]

Oh yeah, they'll get mad, but we shouldn't care about that. If they want a fight, they can come down and fight me themselves.

[Seriously, he's not about to fight a friend who was brought here like him for their entertainment. Especially this one guy who seems to be getting pretty mad, Zidane points at him, points back at himself, and then beats his chest with a fist. Fight him coward... he dares him!]

We shouldn't? But -- eh? You....?

[Colette doesn't want to get him in trouble either. This was rather an odd situation, a new one in comparison to the situations she had been in back home and all. She watches, unsure what to do, how to help when Zidane seems to be encouraging one of the spectators to fight him? She flails her hands a little, glancing between them nervously.]

Look, if they wanna fight, they'll have to do it themselves... or throw someone or something else in here cuz I don't think my usual routines might entertain them enough.

[The audience member doesn't seem to be taking the goading... at first. It's not until Zidane smirks and mouths 'coward' at them and the usual jeers that just absolutely get under guys' skins who often preen themselves as masculine men.]

Eh? Your usual routines?

[What did he mean by that? Routines to entertain? Like a performer or something? She isn't sure what to make of that exactly? But she does know she doesn't want to fight. Colette watches and listens nervously as he smirks and calls them a coward, glancing between the audience and Zidane and hoping he doesn't get in trouble or anything.]

Yeah. I do stage performances, but normally with a group. But these guys here? They don't want that.

[He's so close to getting this guy - he's even up on his feet and shaking a fist back. Well bring it on! Buuut it turns out that instead of having the guy fight, they decide to open the ring's door and let a monster out instead.]

About time~

[HE doesn't have his daggers, but they can figure this out.]

Oh? Performances? Why wouldn't they like that? That sounds fun! But I guess it might be a little harder on your own without your friends.

[Colette admits, a slight pout at her lips at reminders they miss so many back home. But she's distracted from dwelling on that for too long when the doors open and some creature is let out with them. She blinks, eyes wide as she reflexively reaches for her chakrams that. Aren't there, because of course those were confiscated from her when she was initially picked up by these people.]

What do we do?

Trust me, I can manage.

[The monster wasn't much - something typical that could be picked up likely straying from the forest. Still, it looks like a bear so, fun. Not daggers to take it down, and he's not the Boss, but he'll try anyway.]

Move fast and hit hard if you can! Or you can stay back if you want, I think I can handle it!

Do you think our magic still works?

[She hasn't tried using it since she wasn't necessarily awake again for long before they brought her out here with Zidane. She's used to her chakrams and abilities back home but generally isn't a fighter otherwise. Colette's gaze darts around to see if there might be some plants around to use. Or she could perhaps figure using her light magic to create a barrier to confine the creature in? If that might help? She isn't sure in fighting without a weapon. Especially without her magic if that happens to be the case.]

Maybe? Do you have your familiar with you?

[Because he didn't have Moguo - and he didn't understand how they'd managed that. Moguo always managed to find him if he called, but the familiar was just not answering maybe? Okay, so that might be his fault, but it still didn't make sense. When in danger, that seemed like the moment they would come around. Well, the bear's not waiting for them to find out - or for Colette to find a plant. He'll meet it halfway to keep it occupied.]

Not at the moment but I could try calling her.

[Which she does. Or at least she tries to summon Emerald by calling out. Not that it works, but she isn't sure if that's because she's so distracted and tense with the situation at the moment as Zidane approaches the creature. She tries to reach out with her light magic in the absence of obvious greenery in here, in using the light as a barrier to pin the creature in if possible, if it would actually work.]

Alright!

[It looks like her magic works a bit, but the bear looks like it's getting fairly irritated by it and struggles to free itself from it. Still, it's enough to see their magic works that Zidane gets ready with his own if it does break out.]

Careful, Zidane!

[She's still figuring the likes of applying this magic offensively with it being a little different to back home. But she's trying to do her part at least in restraining it? Or distracting it. Though it does seem to be getting frustrated.....

She just doesn't want Zidane getting hurt with all this.]

[Zidane's as careful as he can be... which is a bit on the reckless side dodging those claws that manage to get through. At the next roar, it pushes and pounds at the barrier, forcing it forward, but he pushes it back.]

[He doesn't actually think they're dealing with a monster - just a regular ass bear - and he doesn't really want to fight it like this, but it might come down to it if they don't knock it out.]

[Colette bites her lip, unsure how else to help besides maybe trying to distract it given she doesn't exactly have a lot of options at her disposal without any weapons or anything. She watches as Zidane dodges, trying to help distract the creature by waving her arms and calling out to it, hoping if she does that would give Zidane an opening or something at least.]

[Another dodge, and Colette's arm waving certainly does get the bear's attention. Enough that it would likely charge over to her were it not sucker punched a moment later.]

Eyes on me! [It stumbles and snorts, looking back and forth between the two. What happened? Its fur bristles.]

[Maybe if they confuse and tire the creature out? Colette is not sure what counts. What the audience want aside from a fight. Probably to see someone get hurt. She is unaware on the potential consequences in regards to the audience influencing things for her and Zidane outside of the obvious of bringing out another opponent to fight them.

She keeps trying to distract the creature with waving and calling out, trying to keep focus on the barrier if it is helping Zidane.]

[If they can wear this bear down, that'd be great, but Zidane thinks it'll be faster to knock it out instead. It's got a bit of energy still keeping it going, but they might not have enough magical snuff to keep it occupied that long. When Colette manages to get the bear's eye again, he manages to get another strike in, but barely avoids a retaliating claw swipe.]

Careful, Zidane!

[Might. Not be that helpful. But she really doesn't want him getting hurt. It isn't like she could heal the same way that the Professor and Kratos could if something were to happen. All she had were a couple of Gels. Still, Colette does try to keep focus on the barrier, on trying to help distract the creature for Zidane at least a bit. She glances around but it isn't like there's anything immediately available to throw at it or something. Not that she is aware of the potential consequences of this fight if the audience want to help or hinder her or Zidane.]

I'll be okay!

[He says, but this might be close. Again, a bear is a pretty feisty and furious once riled enough. That barrier barring it again does seem to take a majority of its angry swings to follow, leaving it huffing, but getting on all fours, it seems ready to charge.]

[What a great time for a bid on a spell to nerf speed to be up for auction.]
