It's the spirits-!

[Little green-like spots that upon closer look are wispy green dragonfly-like creatures with golden eyes. They sparkle with water and dew and the fresh scent of mountain air wafts up around them. They seem to dance and bounce on the air and start to twirl around the little hanging dolls like they're slow dancing with them.]

[ Katsuki isn't sure what to expect. Has no idea what these spirits will look like. So leaning forward to try to get a better look? He's not sure he's seeing this right. These spirits are just glowing bugs of all things. The blonde isn't sure if these are the ones that they are supposed to be looking for... However as soon as they start to move around the dolls? Well seems like he's wrong there. ]

Bugs. We're marrying off spirit bugs.

[ Way to make something neat sound ridiculous, Bakugou. ]

[Izuku almost lets out another amused puff of laughter.]

They do kind of look like that, ne...

[But they're spirits. They're glowing with magic and Izuku dares to scoot up closer for a better look. They start to glow a warmer green and the dolls start to dance with the magic. They suddenly come up close like they're about to kiss.]

We- We should help them say some vows, I think? That's what happens at most weddings...?

[ Maybe Deku should warn Katsuki? To be a little more respectful of Fae since they are trying to win them over still? Ah, maybe it doesn't really matter. With the way the spirits are buzzing and moving around the dolls, they're almost oblivious to Izuku and Bakugou. ]

[ Why should they come up with vows for spirits? ]

[He honestly doesn't really think these ones are very volatile. They're happy to have the rain and wind and the little dolls to play wedding with. If they start asking them questions then maybe Izuku will get a little worried. But for now, he's still just wide-eyed with wonder.]

But the spirits are still dancing with the little dolls in whimsical little circles.]

[ This is still weird, right? Even if he said it on the behalf of the spirit, it would feel too much like speaking such vows to an actual thing. There would still be gross bullshit coming out of his mouth. Wishy washy mushy grossness. This just isn't something that Katsuki can do. How long had it taken him to be able to say something as simple as "i'm sorry" to Deku!? And the nerd had been owed that. ]

[Yeah, okay. Now that Katsuki says it like that Izuku's cheeks flare and he doesn't know what in the world to say. Why did he suggest this again?]

[The spirits are twinkling... Come on, Izuku. Say something nice!]

[ See? It sounds like a good idea in theory. However in practice, you just feel kind of dumb!

Now Bakugou doesn't offer anything. He just watches Izuku fumble and stutter. No words from him are offered. Just watching.

Is Deku going to eventually turn to him and beg for help? ]

And... w-with a vow... shows... the promise made to one another...

[He is really starting to feel silly and dumb. And it isn't helping that Katsuki is just watching and letting him suffer this cringe!

But the spirits are loving it? They're starting the bounce happily?? Or at least he assumes...]

[ Katsuki's fingers are tap, tap, tapping away at the desk. Wow the nerd really is going for this. Then the spirits are too, really. They are starting to dance and sway back and forth. Their glowing becomes more prominent. ]

Augh...

[ Fine. He'll finally step in. ]

Will you be faithful? Love and honor in all things? Sickness and health? Richer and poorer?

[ Well! He certainly seems to know this stuff despite being against all things mushy and gushy! ]

[Well- That's very surprising! Izuku even snaps his gaze to look at Katsuki like he just grew a second head. But it's kind of impressive...

As Katsuki finishes that sentence the spirits swirl upwards and start to prance together. And below them, the dolls seem to mimic their motions almost like they're being puppeteered. The little dolls get close just like they're going to kiss soon!

It must be working despite the clumsy delivery?]

I think that means yes...

[ The spirits are causing the dolls to dance and glow in return. So it's definitely working! They even kind of trilling? Do dragonflies trill? Whatever. Bakugou isn't going to think on that too hard. ]

So just take your spouse. Mate. Whatever... And go?

[... Okay- Izuku almost fully laughs at that. His nervousness breaking because Katsuki's words are just too funny. Just telling the spirits to basically mate up and go-- He puts his hand on his mouth and tries to stifle his laugh...!!

And just as he does that the spirits start to dance around and then touch together to create a pretty little flash of magic. Air will swish around them. Then suddenly they will swish around Izuku and Katsuki before touching their cheeks like they are giving each boy a kiss on the cheek.

... !! Izuku jolts a bit! But it tickles??]

I hope- that means they're happy with that...?

Deku what are they -

[ All of the sudden they are moving. The spirits. It almost feels like there is giggling and laughter. Echoing through their house.

Before he knows it, they are around them. Swirling and dancing. Making merry despite the rain outside the building. Katsuki stops short. He doesn't know how to respond to this. Then he feels something like a breeze itself against his cheek. ]

What is... Going on?

I don't know...! They must have believed our vows!

[But it is kind of cute. It's so whimsical and soft and Izuku feels kind of lighthearted for it. He watches them kiss Katsuki and the breeze picks up pleasantly before the rain outside starts to fade to a gentle patter. The sun peaks out slowly...]

Wha- I think we managed to do it right, Kacchan! The sun is coming out...!

[ The whole thing kind of leaves Bakugou flustered. He's not one for general contact, but this? He hadn't thought that it would go this far. Getting kissed by spirits of all things. ]

Yeah? I'm getting that...

[ Not only is there a soft breeze billowing about in the room, the blonde also notices the sun starting to shine through. It's then that the spirits seem to take the dolls with them as they escape through the open window. ]

Ah. Good riddance.

[ But for some reason or another... One of them decides to come back. Just for a moment longer. Maybe it's just to tease Katsuki. But it blows throw his hair, as if ruffling it, before taking off back outside. ]

[The sky lightens from the rain and the fresh smell of watery dew fills the air. It's so serene for a moment. Just the gentle change in scenery as the spirits take their prize and fly off to their happy little honeymoon...

Izuku glances just as they ruffle his hair and take off. It makes Izuku instantly smile, unable to stop that sort of smile from coming over his face. He does try to hide it with his hand so he doesn't get teased for looking stupid but... Kacchan is cute...]

I think we did a good enough job... [Good enough.] Even if it felt weird at first...? Thanks for helping me, Kacchan.

[ Oh he would get teased for the stupid look of course. Then likely called out/yelled at for smiling like that at him like that. Because Bakugou would feel embarrassed. Or flustered.

Instead he's at the window, watching them take off. ]

It was a super weird experience. How do you convince me to do all of this weird shit?

[But Katsuki... Izuku wants to smile at him! So that is why he does it behind his hand and Katsuki doesn't catch it this time. This time.

I guess these kinds of things are special, even to spirits...

Also Deku might be thinking about weddings and what they mean. But Katsuki isn't at the moment. ]

You have to admit that was amazing to see. The spirits were right here, listening to us! And we stopped the rain...!
