⚠️ WARNINGS: Wacky shenanigans, Bakugou's potty mouth, overwhelming cuteness, BATHING SUITS?? Scandalous.


It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!


i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

iv. You're a Sky Full of Stars (stargazing and camping out on the beach)

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

[That might just be Dark Shadow. He's curled up beside Momo, trembling a little. This story is spooky!!]

The group was ambushed by a band of vagrants, who aimed to rob the travellers of their valuables. They struck in the middle of the night, and a violent and bloody skirmish ensued. But one of the group took drastic measures in order to save his own life. You see, the party had acquired a unique bag that enabled them to store much more inside it than the bag appeared from the outside. So, as a means of preserving himself, the man abandoned his fellows and hid within the bag itself, thinking that he would hide within the bag and wait for the bandits to leave.

[This is... probably starting to sound a little fanciful, but Tokoyami speaks with enough conviction and seriousness that could make the story pass for truth.]

But while within the bag, the man grew lost within its vast confines. The world within the bag was magnificent to behold, magnificent beyond comprehension. He could not find his way out, and was slowly twisted and warped by the magic within. He became more monster than man, losing both his way and his sanity within. And thus, the Bag Man was born.

Legend says that the Bag Man can still at times find his way to other holding bags that connect to this vast realm, and he will emerge from within those bags, seeking his lost campsite and friends. And if he doesn't find them... then he retreats to his prison, and drags whatever pour soul he finds in with him, dooming them to share his same fate!

[It's still a scary thought to the shadow-being, Bakugo!!]

[But Dark Shadow slinks down a little, scooping at the sand under the umbrella.]

But... do I have to share..? What if Fumikage likes his familiar more than me?

[blackabyss]

[Tokoyami hums in agreement, nodding to her. It's a nice bit of familiarity in a situation that is far from familiar. Because Tokoyami knows how important it is to return home, especially knowing what he knows. But moments like this help to at least remind them of the happier times, rekindle their passions and strengthen their bonds.]

If we remember times like this, then it will carry us forward in our path.

[He turns to look at everyone else having fun and yelling at each other good-naturedly.]

I don't think I've said this, but I believe you will make a fine hero, Uraraka-san.

[ Yeah that's not... Something he'd want to know. In fact, Bakugou might even lecture her about it. Making deals with creatures - especially shady ones - should probably be avoided you know. ]

Makes me wonder what constitutes as "needing them" from you.

[ Okay so maybe he'll get on his knees. Start moving some of the sand out of the way. ]

[ Look, it has nothing to do with her. It has everything to do with the fact that people actually do kind of forget the fact that he doesn't care for sweets. Not really. Yet people still try to get him to partake regardless.

That's what it's about. Not necessarily negative commentary. ]

[ MAYBE SHE SHOULD BE IN THE TIME OUT UMBRELLA IF SHE'S GOING TO HIT PEOPLE IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD WITH WATER BALLOONS!

But he hadn't intended on hurting anyone either. Or drowning them. So Bakugou shifts on his platform. Just sort of sits there for the time being. ]

[Dark Shadow tilts his head in thought, before nodding once, affirmatively.]

"Ah! I'm in trouble," Tsuyu says flatly, amused.

Well! This is surprising! Tsuyu, floating up, realizes exactly what's going on just in time to shift herself and make ready to dive. When she's tossed back into the drink, she angles her body and uses it to make her move. Those aforementioned muscle memories help her in this, and she kicks her feet minimally to propel herself around her friend.

And hook Ochako's leg to pull her down into the water as well!

He disturbed a nest. It was pretty funny. It was like he'd kicked a glittering bee-hive.

[Her smile though, probably says that nothing bad happened.]

Oh dear...

[Tokoyami can only imagine how it would look, a swarm of pixies coming out of a nest and swarming poor Midoriya. But also given that Tsuyu is smiling, and that Midoriya is fine and well, clues him in to no real harm being done. He closes his eyes and shakes his head, though he does have a small smile on his face.]

I could only imagine the headache he had to endure.

[Izuku nods sheepishly. He gets that part, they have a lot they need to focus on. A lot to worry about back home. A lot to worry about here.

Maybe he feels a little bad for liking this little beach meet-up! But also maybe Katsuki should take a break too.]

I- know. But at the same time I think it's important we take a break while we have it.

[He ponders...]

[ Take a break while they have it, huh? Well. Katsuki did drink that poison last month. That had been pretty emotionally charged. Maybe he can do this. If it will get Izuku off his back a little. ]

Fine. Fine. I'll give you more than ten minutes. Fussy nerd.

[ Something about this place that he enjoys. ]

...Think it's funny you got stuck with a dumb goat.

[Wait a minute.]

B-bone? Only in fiction... Right?

[Right??? But don't mind him! He's starting to perk up in interest as Tokoyami goes on. He always knew he had a cool dorm room with dark stuff and swords but he didn't know to what extent all of that went... So amazing...!]

I didn't know building a castle went as deep as that. It might be a little tricky making looming gargoyles out of sand...

[But hey, he's up for the challenge?!]

[Just for fun! Luckily these two aren't as competitive as some of the others. Well- Izuku has his moments... But he's excited to play some volleyball!]

[He nods and takes the ball and his side of the net. He'll get ready to serve first.]

I'll serve the ball to you now, are you ready?

[frogiveness]

Dangerous quests, mostly.

[She's careful. She really is. But sometimes, you have to go beyond the ordinary, and sometimes villains do too.]

Y'know, like trolls and stuff.

[frogiveness]

Yes. It was pretty well earned, too.

[Actually, it'd been kinda funny, from her perspective.]

But I think he made it up to them.

[She manages to get her other arm free now.]

Honestly, it was funny.

[Oh, Momo...how could you? Ochako watches and looks not upset, but deeply disappointed. She loves you, dear friend, really and truly, but...she cannot bend the rules for you. Ochako just sighs, and she does at least look a bit sympathetic when she shakes her head a little bit.]

It looks amazing, Momo-chan, but...you know that's not really fair to use magic, right? I could make something just as cool with my own, but someone without magic that can shape or move elements, or change it like yours does, doesn't have those options. It's why I took out that aspect - you make it fair for everyone.

I'm sorry, Momo-chan, but... [Ochako takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and!!! Points to the Time Out Umbrella (of Shame). Aaahhh...it's breaking her heart, like punishing a really cute little dog that she loves. BUT NO!! MUST REMAINS FIRM!] Ten minutes.

[It wasn't in the back of the head!! it was in his face because Uraraka isn't a COWARD!!

And Ochako blinks up at him, treading water and tilting her head to one side. Why? Why not? Isn't he here to enjoy himself and have fun? There are plenty of ways for Bakugou to do that at the beach.]

Because you'd enjoy making a big, flashy splash?

[Izuku nods. It's nice to know that everyone's been so eager. While he's sure everyone is worried about home and wants to go back someday he doesn't think it's too bad to get to see this world for what it is. Plus the fantasy stuff is just... awesome.

Izuku has a few bigger things to worry about... But still. He's with his classmates and that's a comfort.]

Yeah. Everyone's really been into learning magic, haven't they. What's your favourite part of it so far, Tsu-chan?

[Honestly, it's really nice knowing she's enjoying it! And that she's here!]

I wonder how Iida-kun would like all of this...

[frogiveness]

My favorite part...? This is gonna sound weird. But I like having a human's stomach.

[She pats her belly, laughing a little, but she's very serious.]

I can't eat a lot of the same things you guys can. Spicy food is great, but it does things to me that...mmm. It's embarrassing, let's say.

[Froggy stomachs and all being sensitive.]

Iida-Kun would proobably insist on us studying and training as a group. I...don't think that's a bad idea either.

[fullgauntlet]

[Yeah, why doesn't Katsuki just try and take a break and be a normal teenager for more than ten minutes. Maybe it'll be good for him or something.

He perks up.]

That's great, Kacchan!

[Well, he's going to take that. Before he sighs.]

Ahh... Everyone has these great familiars. I like him though, he's got his own strengths and he does his best so...

[He's not dumb!! ... Izuku might have a pretty soft spot for his mundane little goat. Because he can relate, of course.]

[When the night has come and the land is dark and the moon is the only light we'll see---

But there is a bright collection of stars too. Izuku will wander over and catch the tail end of Ochako's delight at seeing the stars and space and he'll smile.]

You really like the stars, ne. There are so many shooting stars tonight.

[He's a little nervous approaching her but he does want to hang out!]

Can I sit with you, Uraraka-san?

[ Okay but when he had been a "normal" teenager, he had been even more of an asshole. And a bully. Do we want to go back to that or go with what we have right now? Because he's much more personable than he had been in the past, right?

Bakugou rolls his head towards Deku. Grins one of those nasty little grins. ]

Could tell you at least one thing he was good at. Not much else though.

[ Izuku... Are you sure you wanna hear it? ]

[He does look a bit curious and amused at that!]

Really? Without your quirk, it must be weird to get used to, ne? Maybe don't jump to the spicy food yet, Tsu-chan. Start with things like... Katsudon! Or... Have you tried ice cream?

[He nods about Iida too. He kind of misses the guy...]

That would be a good idea. I know it's hard to get everything together like this...
