⚠️ WARNINGS: Wacky shenanigans, Bakugou's potty mouth, overwhelming cuteness, BATHING SUITS?? Scandalous.


It has been a long month. A long several months for some who may need a bit of R&R and a ton of fun to drive the woes of those last few months away. With the weather growing warmer, the desire to keep cool grew with it...and what better way than with a big splash and a ton of fun?! Getting everyone together to coordinate a Beach Party was...difficult, but doable. Even those outside of Class 1-A were invited to have fun and enjoy themselves down by the sandy shore. Make sure to bring your bathing suits and belongings, this party's going on until the next morning!!


i. Stay Hydrated! (Swimming, water balloon/gun competitions, drowning your rival, etc.)

First thing's first, everyone in the water!! Sunblock up and get your H2O on in the best way possible! Coolers have been set up filled with frosty beverages as well as some, well...ammunition. Of course there's going to be water fights, what did you take this form?! Arm yourselves, Heroes, for a battle has been declared by one or several of your peers! Waterguns have been loaded up for those who wish to partake, and water balloons as well, but the true heavy hitters are those with elemental magic!! Show your stuff in a climactic battle against one another. Who will be the last one standing in this aquatic free for all?! WILL IT BE YOU?!

ii. Nitty Gritty (Sandcastle contest, beach volleyball, sunbathing, looking for shells/tidepools, burying your rival, etc.)

And after people have "cooled off" somewhat, enjoy drying off on the sand. Tanning, sunbathing and getting some color...the sky's the limit! Just beware of any stray volleyballs coming your way, Heroes, the competition is rightfully heating up like the midday sun! Seems nothing stays calm for too long when the raucous youths are having a good time. But, for those wanting a competition that's a little less strenuous, why not try your hand at building the most elaborate and well crafted sandcastle? Magic NOT allowed for this one, folks! Only the manliest of men and the truest of Heroes use their own sweaty palms to build something from nothing. Get to work!

Or, you know...you can just bury yourself or your partner in the and and make them into a parody of beefy muscle form All Might, or a gorgeous mermaid, if that's your thing. I'm not your sensei.

iii. I'M ON FI-YAAH (grilling/BBQ, late night bonfire activities (stories/songs), s'mores, dancing, etc.)

Wow, all that fun sure does work up an appetite! Not to worry, Heroes (and potential party crashers), food will be provided as well! Delicious barbequed meats - skewers, burgers, hotdogs, and even some grilled fish, too!! Get luck and find some clams in the sands? Heck yeah, let's start up a clam bake!1 The night is your oyster...er, clam! There's plenty here for everyone, so don't feel like you're being greedy! And of course, later in the evening when the fire has died down but the embers are still hot, marshmallows will be toasted to make the most fantastically scrumptious s'mores for all the sweets lovers out there. Enjoy a summer treat and share with friends!

But of course, bonfires aren't only there for food! How about some singing, dancing, and music? Or maybe a more...devilish campfire activity? Come up with the most gruesome, the most gory, the most horrifying tale to utterly spook Urara--I meaaan...your fellow friends and students.

At long last, the party is over and the night is calm and quiet. The final dying embers of the fire are but dim specks of red and orange, but the true fire is burning up above. Far from the light pollution of Camelot proper, million of stars dot the velveteen blackness of space in a beautiful portrait of speckled beauty. Keep your eyes up, maybe looking long enough one could see a shooting star. Make a wish, quick!! But don't tell it to anyone...

Then, curl up in the large tents that were brought along for a night of restful sleep. After such a long and fun-filled day, it's certainly needed for all. Just behave yourselves and don't be too loud so as to wake or rouse your neighbors, either.

It's what makes Ochako laugh, big and loud and happy, before she huffs and shifts a bit in the shallow water that pulls at her ankles. She might not have any magic left after all that, but she still have two arms and two legs. She won't back down!!]

You haven't beaten me yet!! To give up now would be an insult! And besides...getting you even once or twice counts as a win for me, ehehe.

[ He looks down at her, perfectly fine where he is up in the air and protected from her little rain cloud. ]

[It's hard to fight back the heaviness and they probably shouldn't do that but Izuku looks down at his feet and nods. Feeling a little distant from home is hard. And he misses a lot of things...

But he first tries to say something lighter, a little nervous and sheepish as he does. With a laugh,]

Is it bad that I miss going to All Might merch releases? ... Before all of this stuff happened I was waiting for the next re-release of the golden age figures coming out of the vault for his anniversary.

[Izuku, you shit nerd.]

Aha, but I miss school too...! And everything else... I didn't mind that. You helped me too, so it was ...

[He smiles.]

Call in the cavalry!!

[Ochako grins, devilishly, then puts her thumb and forefinger to her mouth and whistles. It seems to do nothing, nothing at all, before Bakugou will feel a hot, moist breath on the back of his neck and slightly ruffling his hair...

Before a large, sticky, wet tongue licks all the way up his bare back and over his hair. The so-called 'cavalry' is just Aludra, who looks so happy to have been invited to play. Look at that tail wag. 8D]

That makes Tsuyu nod, because yeah, he has grown a lot. They all have, but him most of all. He's gone from a complete turd to someone who shows companionship and amiability in his own way. It's a little weird, and he's still an ass, but he's their ass, and she can't really imagine the class without him.

"...He kinda has, yeah..." she murmurs, settling down next to Ochako. She even leans in a little, just resting against her bestie's shoulder. It's hard not to get a little quiet, hearing something like that last bit, and so she mulls it over for a few moments before she actually says anything.

"It's beyond anything...I ever really dreamed about. UA, and you all, have been the best thing that's ever happened to me."

She's not serious, but she is just doing her froggy thing. Does it hurt him? Because if not, then he probably should just groan and move on like everyone else when she drops a frog pun.]

[She figures he probably does based on the statement, but she would rather be sure before asking further.]

[He nods.]

It was just the three of us before everything went black there. But only Kacchan and I remember it. Honestly, I'm glad we're out of that world now.

Exactly right - Bakugou is still Bakugou: loud, irritable, an ass indeed, but reliable, kind in his own way, and inspirational. Each person fits into the class like a singular piece of a puzzle. Take even one away, and the picture will remain incomplete - that's just how they are now. The bond their class shares with one another is so tightly bound it's impossible to pull apart.

The action is so commonplace that Ochako doesn't even think twice to lean he head atop Tsuyu's, moving an arm to curl around her best friend's shoulder in a one-armed hug. "Mm, I agree completely. I still never expected to make it into UA at all. Ehehe, you should have seen how ugly and gross my face was from how hard I cried when I got my acceptance letter!! My mama was laughing so hard at me and taking pictures."

You know, like a mom would, to embarrass their sweet and beloved child.

[Ochako laughs quietly, her shoulders shaking just so when Izuku mentions All Might. Of course he was, he's practically their teacher's number one fan and all that... It must be killing Izuku not to have any of his merchandise or anything available in this world. Hm...maybe if she pulled a few strings, she could--...heh. A plan for the future, perhaps.]

All Might really is your favorite, huh, Deku? [That's a no brainer, but Ochako just loves hearing her friend talk about his interests and hobbies. It's really endearing, actually, and Ochako also misses getting to watch her favorite Hero, Thirteen, work as well. Their amazing rescues, their powerful quirk...gosh. Meeting them at the USJ for the first time was the best thing ever for Ochako (before it all went to shit, but she's not thinking about that).] I miss hearing about the Pros, too. I-I know this place has Heroes and stuff too, of course, it's like those old legends about Arther and his Knights and stuff, but...it's different, you know? I miss our Heroes. Present Mic, Eraserhead, Midnight-senpai...Ryukyu and Mirko, too!

[She sighs a little bit, kicking her feet a little and pausing to chew her lower lip between her teeth a little bit. Should she? It's embarrassing what's on the tip of her tongue, but...ah. Whatever.]

Mm, always. In place of all the Pros, we have to be each other's Heroes, ne? Hero Deku, ehehe, I think he's my favorite....but don't tell anyone else. [And she sticks out her tongue playfully.]

[ He hates it when this stupid mutt just decides to lick him! Katsuki is going to turn and shoot water right in the wolf's face.

[Of course Todoroki would take this little 'fight' more seriously than it is. He and Bakugou share that one braincell sometimes, but also...the air of competitiveness seems to ignite in the hearts of certain classmates and the game becomes a bit of an impromptu sparring session. Ochako especially seems to get riles up, just like she did at the Sports Festival, and jumps a bit when the spray of water comes at her so suddenly. She didn't expect Todoroki to go after her, but...it's every man for themselves in this battle royal, after all!!

Tucking and rolling to the side, getting sand all over herself, Ochako holds her gun out towards Todoroki and firing. She's never used a weapon before, too used to hand-to-hand combat as she is, so her aim is going to be...pretty terrible to start, but Ochako's a fast learner and quick to adjust to her so-called Gear. Better keep on your toes, Shouto!]

Todoroki-kun!! Ehehe, I never thought I'd be facing off against you one day! [Pew, pew!] I won't back down, you know!! Just because we're friends!

[floatsaway]

[From below there's an explosion of loud, harsh laughter from Ochako as she entertains herself watching Bakugou try and fight off her familiar now. Man, if only she had her phone...to take a video of him with a sopping, wet streak of wolf spit making his hair stick up from the back like a squirrel tried to nest in it or something. Precious memories that she'll cherish forever...

As Bakugou blasts Aludra with water. The massive dire wolf only barks and seems to dart through the air, tail wagging furiously as she snaps and bites at the spray happily and playfully. This is all but a game to her, and Bakugou's becoming her favorite playmate.]

Hahahaa, Aludra-san likes you so much, Bakugou!! Maybe she'll let up if you give her a pet or two, ne? Ehehe...or you could surrender~!

[frogiveness]

I'm glad you are here too. Was there...was it like this place? Weird magic and all?

[She is a curious frog, okay?]

[frogiveness]

"Really? You didn't think you'd get in?"

That gets Tsu to sit up just a little bit straighter, looking at her curiously before shaking her head in denial of the thought. That's stupid, and she knows it.

"You're really dedicated, and your quirk is top notch. There's no way you wouldn't have gotten in. I saw how you were during the test, and I just knew you were gonna."

Absolutely, positively no room for doubt in this. Tsuyu is adamant, if the furrow of her froggy brow is any indication. So says your friend, Ochako.

It was like having to yank out a barb that's been lodged under my skin.

[ He might hate joy that much. HE JUST MIGHT! Bakugou isn't like the rest of the class though. ]

You in a spot to wiggle out or what?

[Izuku absolutely loves All Might and for all the obvious reasons! He looks so happy to just talk about him for a second. There's more to it than he lets on too, just because All Might has been a mentor to him in more ways than just being one of his teachers. Sometimes he wonders what All Might would think of all this. If he came to this world and saw all of them here, doing their best. He still has so much to ask All Might about...

Because... When Ochako brings up their other teachers? He wonders how they are. What happens to everyone when Izuku's point in time had been paused for him to come here. Back then it was a huge battle and he's unsure how it all panned out. If All Might was here maybe he'd be able to tell him. Reassure Izuku about the things he's worried about.

But her words make him look up again, smiling with an embarrassed nod. Somehow hearing her call him a pro hero feels pretty great. He looks a little wibbly.]

Uraraka-san...! Ahaha, yeah. Even if we can't follow the heroes back home right now there are heroes here that are just as great! I got to meet Sir Gareth, she's one of the knight of the round table and knows so much about King Arthur and the knights. She told me all about a time where she had to fight an enemy for two days straight in order to save a princess. That's... amazing!! She really pushed her limits!

[Seems Izuku is still the same rambling fanboy about heroes-- turned knights.]

I was thinking maybe I could be a knight someday too. It's like being a hero, so I could be a pro... knight?

[He chuckles.]

[He'll share the knowledge! Even if it's a little bit of a doozy to share!]

Honestly, it wasn't anything like this place. We didn't have any added magical abilities but we still had our quirks there. Aside from that, it was an old abandoned town in the middle of this dark and stormy island. It was dark all the time.

[He sighs...!]

There were things like ghosts and dark creatures hiding in places that wanted to harm us. Which, I guess there are specters here as well. But these ones were... [He glances at her.] It was like walking around a bad horror movie... And strange occurrences happened all that pushed us.

WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PET ANY CREATURE THAT'S GOING TO JUST STRAIGHT UP SLOBBER ON ME!?

[ He doesn't find humor in the fact that the wolf apparently likes to play with him. It feels like some serious disrespect and disregard to his personal space is happening here!

Now Katsuki will probably have to take a dive into the water just to get the saliva out. ]

"Mm-mm...I knew the test was really, really hard...and at the time, I still wasn't completely used to pushing myself so hard with my quirk. B-Besides, I'm um...n-not all that smart."

Though she studied and studied hard for the written exam at UA, because if it meant becoming a Professional Hero, doing her best and reaching a point where she'd be so acclaimed...and compensated for her Heroics, then it meant that she could finally give her mother and father the carefree life they deserved. Entering UA was the easiest way to really rocket herself to that point, because it was the best of the best. In order to get in, she had to be the best of the best.

W-Which is why Tsuyu's praise sort of blindsides Ochako and she flushes, ducking her head down into her shoulders and poking her index fingers together.

"Eeeh...th-thank you, Tsu-chan. B-But I still feel like, um...i-if not for Deku-kun, I may not have made it. I didn't realize the rescue points were a thing at all, you know? B-But I couldn't just let him fall after he saved me!! He risked it all, j-just to make sure I was okay, and--" ...And she did the same. Ochako wasn't really thinking of the exam at that point, when Deku was falling. She just had to help him, save him, make sure he didn't get hurt. Ochako realizes this now, and covers her face to hide her blush.

Jeez...she's so dumb.

[For a breath, he looks startled. His thought's to fire back, to respond through ice swiftly, but he doesn't.

There's that word again, slowing him. Casual, plainly, without hesitation. His eyes retreat downwards; his indiscernible expression made especially fragile. He almost smiles! They can spar this way because they're friends.

Their not-so-simple game's evolving. Their differences in styles, still recalling how he used to fight, displays his need to keep distance. Even now her's seems weightless—the rolling—as if her movement's lacked gravity. His own are less agile. His magic's speed and boosted strengths his single chance to make up for that. But Uraraka's a menace, a challenge, and it's why she's singled out. The only other the boy could think of with all those means to surprise him.

He could learn something, here!

But, the water does graze him, and as she snipes him from a distance, his reaction's to it smoother, too-sudden, something steeped in pure instinct. Ice this time; sweeping winds and bits of frost with aims to keep her off balance. It's hardly fair... He's still regarding some child's plaything with all the threat of loose canons.

His eyes flash. His measured response to Uraraka's matched in gently-dull monotone. He swipes his cheek.]

Bring it on. You're an Elemental too, right? [Sending ice along the sand, now.] Let's see you dodge it!

[Sorry, Uraraka; this boy's too battle-centered not to take their "fight" seriously. The fun's seeping in, still.]

Because that's just what canines do when they like someone. They lick them. She licks me, too you know.

[Duh? Has Bakugou never, once, encountered an overly friendly dog in his life? Has he never actually pet a dog and had it lick him after? If so, Ochako is kind of sad for him - that sounds like a really, really terrible life. No wonder he's so angy all the time.

Nonetheless, the battle is won(??) or at least put on a temporary ceasefire as Aludra snuffles and nuzzles at Katsuki with a happy noise before seeming to 'walk' on the air and water back down towards Ochako...where she immediately does the same thing she did with Bakugou. Press her hot, wet, sticky tongue all the way up the girl's torso and over her face and hair.]

EEYUURGH--!

[frogiveness]

Mah...

[She doesn't feel the need to reply much more to...any of that. Instead she just sits straight up, knocking wet sand clear.]

...Yes.

[up she hops, nodding.]

[Delivered in that monotone of hers. she's processing it all. It sounds like it sucks. A whole lot.]

Tsuyu had at least somewhat assumed that helping people was a sure fire way to get into the school. It made sense based on what she knew of UA, and, well, it tracked a bit with her personal philosophy, so confirmation bias there.

It was a test, not a competition, in a sense. And what kind of test for heroes would exclude the opportunity for heroics.

"Well. You got in. And you are plenty smart. Don't be down on yourself, Ochako. Just...um...remember the other day. Where you drank the poison. That's heroic. And that's what UA is about."

Plus...Ultra? she's bad at this kind of peptalk. she is very good at decrees though.
