[ It actually doesn't take all that long for Bakugou to figure out that it's coming from a request. That's why people do a lot of crazy as fuck crap, right?

There's no rule here about using magic to further one's interests really. Nothing that says people can't use their magic to help others out either. That means that doing what a hero should be doing isn't illegal by any means. Hence the reason that Bakugou doesn't consider it vigilante work to run around and try to stop people.

This time is no different. He's rushing to another building that's been set ablaze with the intention of putting it out only to run into -

Oh.... Oh he knows that face! The only thing keeping Bakugou from snapping at this twig is the realization that he had dealt with a copy and not the original. ]

I can use elemental magic, yeah.

[ Though water is still. Shaky. ]

Is everyone out of the building?

Oh, I was just guessing. [ Ignorance is bliss, especially if your copy decided to attack strangers while you were trapped in vines. ] Guess it's my lucky...okay, no.

[ There's nothing lucky about another building set on fire. ]

[ At that moment, a woman cuts in wailing her cat must have remained inside. She points at the roof, where the feline actually is, meowing loudly. That's not all: it looks like the quest giver is feeling quite bold today and shamelessly takes a picture of the building on fire. ]

Can you take them on alone? Or at least keep them busy for a while? I can go pick up the cat in the meantime.

[ No there is absolutely nothing lucky about a building on fire. Be glad that sentence wasn't finished!

He's about to respond when the wailing starts and Bakugou has to roll his eyes. Don't get him wrong. It's a rescue situation and even a cat doesn't deserve that. The look is more geared toward the fact that he's probably going to get scratched up - ]

Can you handle the fire alone?

[ Quest giver ain't shit in Bakugou's opinion. ]

I'll try, so don't worry too much about me. I'll try to join you as soon as I can. Having someone to back you up is always nice.

[ Especially when it's a guy whose doppelganger Bakugou fought the other day. ]

[ But that's fine. Bakugou can chase down the guy that asked for this. Or the one who is responsible. He takes off towards the one that had been pointed out to him earlier. They can start with this asshole.

[ There's not enough time to ask the question Akira wants to ask, so as soon as they split, he rushes to rescue the cat trapped in the building set aflame. Casting water magic as he proceeds, he manages to reach the scared animal and pick him up after a while—cats aren't too fond of water, after all. Thankfully, it doesn't take too long so he can join Bakugou in a couple more minutes.

Whether he's still chasing the suspect or have already managed to catch them, Akira finally gets to ask the question: ]

Are you saying that spiky hair doesn't catch on fire?

[ It's pretty easy for Bakugou, honestly. A few bursts of fire and a well timed barrier and this asshole is running head first right into it with a smack.

By the time Akira comes around, Bakugou is sitting on the perp. How he'll get away? The rolls will decide shortly. He looks up to the other. Makes a face. ]

Were you waiting this entire time to deliver that shitty line?

[ It turns out that's exactly what he was doing. ]

Glad you didn't get into a hairy situation. [ Akira looks down at the prep. ] I can't say the same about this guy.

[ It makes the person laying under Bakugou groan, apparently. ]

Did you learn anything?

[ "Hairy situation." Augh! Katsuki pops his knuckles. A sign of his irritation at all these damn puns! ]

Guy didn't stand a fucking chance.

[ Although maybe that groan is from the puns too and not from the rough way that Bakugou had taken him out. ]

Come on, you. Spit it out. Tell him what you told me.

[ It's almost like the suspect is trying his luck because he literally spits and mumbles: ]

[ This poor, poor dude. He must have forgotten that he's trapped under Bakugou Katsuki. ]

[ Someone's feeling cheeky and Bakugou's not going to have any of it. He growls, placing a hand right next to the guy's face. Now it starts to spark with light magic, but this dude doesn't need to know it's basically just a light show.

It still gives Bakugou the feel of his hands popping and cracking. Promising an explosion is about to go off. ]

SAY IT!

[ Perhaps Bakugou will enjoy the panicked shriek that escapes past the suspect's lips. ]

Okay, okay! I'll tell you everything! Everything!

[ At that moment, Akira peeks at Bakugou's hand and then at his face. This boy is really persuasive, isn't he? ]

This quest, you know which one. The guy behind it messaged me that if I'll send him a video of a fire in fifteen minutes, he'll double the reward...so...!

[ This isn't really a good excuse, all things considered. ]

Someone could have got really hurt. Or worse.

[ Oh he does enjoy it to a degree. The former bully in him does get some satisfaction to being successful, yes.

Though he wouldn't have hurt the guy. Not yet. It's not beyond Bakugou to do such a thing after all! He's exploded a lot of faces and people. ]

Don't think anyone really cares about that. Might not be what the quest giver was going for, but there's always the potential for shit to go wrong.

[ Though this doesn't really give them an idea of who is doling out this quest. ]

Guess we'd better turn this one in.
