He didn't start the fire (except he did)
🧙 WHO: Tsuna and you
⚔️️ WHAT: Burning down buildings and thinking thoughts
đź•’ WHEN: May
🗺️ WHERE: Camelot and possibly surrounding area
⚠️ WARNINGS: n/a but will change if needed.
[A - What's the Number for 911??]
[Tsuna is freaking out.
That's a natural state of being for him on a good day, but at this moment it seems a little more pronounced. It might have something to do with the burning building in front of him. The building's not fully on fire but fire has definitely started licking up the siding and there's a good deal of smoke.
If you had to ask whether or not the building's on fire, it very much is.
And Tsuna is panicking because his hands are also on fire, though the warm, enchanted glow of magic flames rather than anything burning. He'd just wanted some light while he was walking home. He didn't mean to touch the building. Certainly didn't mean to have it go up so fast.
But now it is and he's kind of hyperventilating so switching on his water is a little tough right now. Would it even be enough?]
HELP!!
[He finally manages to get out. He doesn't know if anyone's in the building or what. Someone might need to snap him out of this. Or snap a picture.]
[B - Twilight Thoughts; Network/Action]
[Tsuna doesn't go straight home after his part time job.
He meanders for a bit, not to anywhere in particular but he's not quite ready to go home yet. He's got thoughts that he needs to sort out. A lot more than usual, if he's being honest.
Because he's never been the kind of kid to let things go easily. There might have been a time when he used to, but then, that was back when his world was very small and he could just get by. Now his world is bigger, with friends, with more responsibility, with the fact that even though it was thrust on him and he is reluctant to take up the mantle, he is a leader.
It's hard to be a leader when it feels like his world keeps getting a lot bigger every day. And affecting his friends in more ways than he, at 15 years old, can really conceive.
He finds a quiet place in a park, flopping down on the ground and looking up at the darkening sky.]
I don't know what to do...
[He mutters, before digging out his phone. There has to be something.]
UN: Tsuna27
What's a good way to cheer up a friend?
[C - Flick Would Have a Field Day]
[It's always him. It's always Tsuna.
Why can't the universe just give him a break?
He was having a nice time! It was fun, if a little weird, to be picking cookies from trees like apples. And he was going to bring home a bunch to, because why not?
But of course, this is Tsunayoshi Sawada, the universe's chew toy, and he'd bumped a wasps nest. He'd taken off at a sprint, not wanting to get stung or to disturb anyone else. Of course, he didn't really try to figure out where he was running to and by the time he thinks he's outrun the wasps he is lost.
It's quiet and lush and green and somehow unnerving, and so Tsuna tentively starts to retrace what he hopes are his steps before some bagworms drop down in front of him. Tsuna stumbles back and screams! which sets off several moths who fly quickly past him.]
Why are there so many bugs!

I can help if you want, Tenth!

I was just sort of thinking in general. They just seem kind of down lately.
Re: [text]
Did you ask them what’s going on? Sometimes it helps to have someone listen, or you could try to distract them. I like to give gifts for people I care about.
[text]
But a gift might be nice.
[Hopefully it's vague enough that Gokudera doesn't catch on.]

Uh... you okay there? Need some help?

That is to say, once Tsuna starts to hear another voice, he's able to come back to himself, more or less. He's not completely relaxed, but he's a little better. Though he stalls a bit on answering. Mostly because he's looking at a duck, talking to him.
He tries to remind himself that it's rude to stare, this is a weird world where anything can happen and that his tutor is an espresso drinking, gun wielding, two year old hitman, so this is hardly the weirdest thing to ever happen to him.
He takes a breath.]
I...I need help, yeah. I think I'm lost.

Then let's help get you un-lost! Where were you trying to go?

She doesn't give a second thought to running towards it, her skirt bunched up in one hand, and she does need to take a moment to absorb the scene unfolding as she comes upon it.]
Oh my goodness. [The young woman's attention goes to the boy first. Is that-- fire on his hands?
Well... one can't simply make assumptions.]
What happened here?
[And then she's looking around for some way to quench the blaze before it gets out of control. Her own magic isn't going to be much use for that.]
no subject
As much as he misses his tutor, Tsuna is extremely glad Reborn isn't here to exacerbate this particular situation.]
Um. That is. I.
[He's struggling to find the words, still panicking and not entirely calm.]
It just started burning.
no subject
[Why does she not believe this?
It's probably the panicking. But then, he could be panicking because he just happened across the fire and that's why his hands are doing that - some kind of sympathetic magic? She is choosing, for now, to think the best of him and the situation.]
You have elemental magic, don't you? Can you put it out?

[Knowing Gokudera's past, he wouldn't be surprised, but he's not sure if he wants to encourage that.]
He's just seemed down lately. I think a lot changed for him recently and I don't really know how to help him.
no subject
[News to him, but then again so was indoor plumbing.]
Well if change is the issue, why not do something that you used to do together before the changes? Perhaps the familiarity will lift his spirits.

I could also send in some take-out cups of coffee, tea or hot chocolate from the cafe I work for, along with some snacks too.

But that might be good. You can't really go wrong with food.
no subject
May I ask if you want to go with either coffee, tea, or even hot chocolate for your friend. I could also pack up some sandwiches with them.
