Month of May it's a violent thing
🧙 WHO: Din and whoever he encounters along the way
⚔️️ WHAT: Quests!
🕒 WHEN: Throughout May
🗺️ WHERE: Camelot and the surrounding area
⚠️ WARNINGS: added as needed
A - No Buccaing Out
[Truthfully, Din doesn't know how useful he's going to be.
His armour weighs him down and his go to weapons probably aren't the best underwater. Still, he has a spear and a vibroknife and that's probably going to work best. And that's to say nothing of his swimming skills, which aren't great. The last time he really dealt with water was on Trask, and that was less of his own volition and more a reaction.
Not that any of this trepidation shows on his face, the helmet allowing him to remain impassive.]
They didn't happen to say how deep it got, did they?
B - Cookie Collecting
[Din, admittedly, doesn't really have a strong opinion one way or another what they decide to do. Whatever route gets him home the fastest is where he stands. But that doesn't mean he can't be helpful. It's not his usual kind of task but, well, he's tall and that's largely why he's been recruited. Someone has to get the higher branches.
He's taking care of a few of the trees further back in the orchard, still slightly boggling at how cookies can grow on them and trying to clamp down on the fact that were Grogu here, he would be having a field day. Instead, he's tentatively trying his magic, using the kinetic forces to shake the trees. It seems to be going well?
At least until the wasp nest drops.]
C - Wildcard

[ A faint smile came to his face. ]
Besides, between your armor and my lightsaber, I'm pretty sure we stand the best chance of getting through this.
no subject
Shouldn't be too hard, provided all the magic works.
[He moves to head into the water, motioning for Luke to follow.]
no subject
Wait, did you already get the potion to breathe underwater?
no subject
[He holds up the small vial, which he'd been planning to take just before submerging himself.]
There was a basket of them near a dock that was falling apart.
no subject
S-so let's go...!
[ He was trying so hard to make it sound like he meant to do that from his tone, but he was failing miserably. ]
no subject
After you. Don't forget to take the potion.
[He'll wait until Luke passes before following him, pausing only to get used to the fact that potion is working.]
no subject
[ He sighed after a moment, wading ahead and downing the potion, scrunching up his face as it started to work, before diving into the water. For a split second, he almost panicked -- he could feel the water in his mouth, but it wasn't quite filling his lungs, instead passing in and out of him like it was air. It was the worst feeling, and it took him a moment to adjust, his nose scrunched up the entire time. ]

It looks like the village is in that direction, so we'll want to head north.
[He points off to some lights shining in the distance.]

no subject
So far, mostly fish.]
no subject
[ Case and point, he couldn't even hear whatever it was that was lurking in the water behind him. ]
no subject
He starts to motion back (and Luke might recognize the Tusken sign language) that Luke should stay close and they'll go a bit further before he stops, seeing the creature behind him.
It's more instinct than anything that makes him throw the spear at the creature.]
no subject
[ His lightsaber came up, flicking it on. Water bubbled slightly around the blade, but the green light pierced through the darkness of the water, showing many, many more of the same creature littering the ocean floor. ]
[ Luke turned a glance toward the Mandalorian, worry easily seen on his face. ]
no subject
He calls the spear back with his kinetic magic (almost missing it on it's return, still a work in progress), and starts looking around for some higher ground. Staying where they are is just inviting disaster. He spots some rocks and driftwood not too far away and points at them, before activating his jetpack and sending himself over to them.
They're not tall, but it's at least out of immediate danger.]
no subject
[ They maaaaay have needed more people for this. ]
no subject
With Luke ducking back, Din moves in to stab with the spear a few times, hoping either to kill it or at least knock it down.
Maybe it will be enough of a distraction for the other creatures as well.]
no subject
[ A bubble of alarm escaped from Luke's mouth, before he let out an unheard huff, tightening his grip on his lightsaber. They could either break for the surface, or they could stand and fight, and their odds of succeeding in either were pretty slim. ]
[ He paused, glancing at the Mandalorian, before leaning back and looking at his jetpack, a crazy idea coming to his mind. Unfortunately, he didn't know much Tuskin sign, so he could only grab his cape and motion forward, hoping he got the hint. ]
no subject
The tug at his cap distracts him though, and his attention turns to Luke, trying to decipher what he means. He points in the direction that Luke is motioning before quickly signing]
Go around?
no subject
[ He shook his head, before sharply jabbing his hand forward, like he was cutting through the water, hoping the implication of shooting through the middle of the mob was clearer now as he tightened his grip on his cloak. ]
no subject
He tilts his head and regardless of how weird it sounds.]
You can't be serious.
[Din is no stranger to doing stupid things. Usually, though, said things just involve him.]
no subject
Trust me.
[ It was a good thing Luke was small, at least in comparison to the armored man; he reached up, grabbing onto his shoulder tight and bracing his foot against the back of his leg, mindful to angle himself so he didn't get hit with the jet pack's rockets. He ignited his lightsaber again once he was settled, holding it loosely in his left hand. ]
Go!
no subject
But does he have much of a choice? Options are slim outside of his usual stubbornness, and he really doesn't have many advantages here.
At the "Go!", he pushes off, activating his jetpack and sailing towards the advancing creatures.]

[ A heavy silence filled the area, interrupted only by the hum of his lightsaber. When nothing came after them, he carefully edged toward the water, hoping to see if the creatures had left or not. ]
