Domain. Can do!
[ He reaches back, checking to make sure the claymore on his back is still as accessible as it was meant to be. ]
Let's go.
[ Alright - well, nothing better than to take a step in now. ]
no subject
With that said, it's time to head further on in. but while they walk...]
...Lab-err-inth.
[He's not letting you off the hook here, Razor. Now that he knows you can't say it, he's making sure you learn it.]
no subject
Lab-err-inth.
[ He mimics as he moves. He opens his mouth and feels out the word without saying anything again and again. ]
Sorry.
[ He says it nearly immediately. ]
Weird word.
no subject
Razor's thought about the word resonate with Bennett, though, and he nods in agreement, folding his hands behind his head casually as they walk.]
Yeah, it is kind of a weird word, huh? Too bad the librarian lady from the Knights of Favonius isn't here, I bet she could tell us all about why it's like that.
[A pause.]
You taught me so much about how wolves speak, so I wanna repay the favor and teach you so much about how great adventurers speak!

[ He corrects Bennett quickly when he mentions her. His reply is pretty firm when he talks about her, too. She's really good with her Vision and magic. He doesn't know a lot, but he has heard of her. He's seen her. And even when he doesn't always understand things, he does remember people who make an impression. And his fear is certainly called for. He tilts his head and watches Bennett for a moment, before moving forward. ]
Many words. Wolves... much less.
[ Of course, he's pretty sure Bennett doesn't mean just words. ]
Wolves. Easier.

[Bennett is definitely nowhere near fluent in wolf language, especially in comparison to Razor. But thanks to the boy's help he's definitely learned a good bit about the way they communicate with one another, and it's helped him a lot during his adventures.]
The way you guys can communicate so much with just a howl, or some claw marks on a rock face is awesome.

[ He nods, taking a few steps forward through the labyrinth. He's looking around and taking in the scene as he moves. Though he does cast frequent glances towards Bennett. He's keeping both an eye on his friend and making sure he doesn't miss any slimes to kill. Because killing slimes means pumpkin pie and that's...why he's here in part. ]
Lots. ...Don't know lots.
[ But Bennett he understands and he is good at communicating with him, so he doesn't know if he needs to understand much. He brings his hand to his chest. ]
But understand Bennett.
no subject
[Hearing Razor say that puts a smile on his face, and a pink hue to his cheeks. It really does mean a lot to him to hear Razor say that.]
I know I have a tendency to talk too much sometimes, so I worry I might be saying too much for you sometimes. {It's a very real worry for him, okay, he knows he talks too much sometimes. It's a hard habit for him to break.] But if you can keep up with what I say, then that's good enough for me.
[Bennett gives Razor a thumbs up.]
You're not the most verbose guy around, but for what it's worth, I never have a problem understanding what you want to say.
no subject
Lots, not too much.
[ He definitely had no complaints. He reached up to pat Bennett's back. ]
Good. Want Bennett to understand.
[ He's -- happy. He's happy his best friend is here with him because even if he has no problems getting along with people. Someone who already gets him is nice. He stops at a fork in the labyrinth. And he considers his friend to see if he has any thoughts on the path. ]
no subject
....Mmmmh...
[When they reach the fork in the path, Bennett weighs their options for but a moment. To go left, or to go right...]
...This way! I'm sure of it!
[He points down the path to the right, and then immediately goes on ahead, running down the corridor.]
no subject
So he has zero complaints about the idea of running into things. ]
Okay. Good.
[ He hears something, though, and he has to assume it is just slime but -- ]
Slow, Bennett.
[ It's the warning because it sounds close. ]
no subject
Do you hear something?
no subject
[ It's a simple, earnest answer. He nods his head towards the sound - to his right. ]
Ahead. There. Monster probably.
[ Which means they'll have to be ready to take them on. And that's alright with him. He can kill as many as he wants and they can have pie later. And honestly - it's probably the best reward he could have asked for. ]
no subject
[Bennett goes ahead and draws his sword. Best to be ready to fight in that case.]
You take the lead, and I'll back you up just like always, partner.
no subject
Okay.
[ He pulls out his claymore and is ready for whatever may come how. He's fine with monsters, yeah, but he doesn't want anyone charging in at them since he has to assume they won't be too easy for them.
So he steps forward to take the lead, listening attentively until he shifts left at the next turn, stops, and readies himself for the creature before them.
It looks like this was the path to start, because when he sniffed the air, further ahead.
Well, at least they got this, right? Fighting - that's the easy part for them. ]
no subject
Go get 'em, partner!
[And rightfully timed, as the first wave of enemies encountered appears to be three large, hog-sized beetles, skittering towards them. Eugh, it had to be giant bugs, huh?]
