[Open] December Catch-All
Who: Saber and you!
What: December Catch-All. TDM Prompts and Quest Threads. May add more quest prompts as time goes on.
When: December
Where: All around New Camelot, see the prompts
Warnings: None at the moment, will update as needed
When she is inevitably not given an answer, she decides to take full advantage of this snow...
And then she gets beaned in the back of the head by a snowball, and suddenly "practice" becomes "a battle". ]
Who dares!?
[ Was it you who just beaned her with a snowball? Well then, expect her to immediately retaliate.
If you weren't someone who just instigated the King's competitive side, then you're probably a victim of it, as she's now running around with an all-too-competitive look on her face as she uses wind magic to send a volley of snowballs your way. ]
As she marches into the Land of Rot, however, she would definitely appreciate some help. While she may be the King of Knights, this land has most definitely robbed her of the vast majority of her abilities. She's unsure how powerful this beast is, so having anyone to help back her up in slaying this beast will be appreciated.
Perhaps she found you before marching in the direction of the Land of Rot, and you accepted? Either that or she saw you, knew you would be helpful, and dragged you along with her to fight a giant fire lion.
In any case, you are with Saber, and you're both in the territory of the Fogueria now. ]
And that simply won't stand, will it?
However, even though this is the case, it seems she's been dragged along to something else entirely. ]
Rin... I understand that having a partner for a quest is certainly important... but surely there are others who could help you better than I?
[ Rin is technically no longer Saber's Master, but still she felt obligated to follow Rin. However, obligation isn't the reason Saber's here. Saber is here, standing in front of an enchanted sleigh, because Rin was oddly insistent about it and dragged Saber here before she could protest.
It hasn't crossed her mind once that this could be anything more than a Quest. Still, here she is, dressed for winter (and not in her armor), about to ride a Sleigh. ]

(1)Trial and Icy Errors
[ Spotting the message from Merlin, Saber immediately sends a few more messages his way. Mostly along the lines of a demand for him to meet her and explain himself, or just for him to come down so she can give him a good smack (so basically a threat but whatever). When she is inevitably not given an answer, she decides to take full advantage of this snow...

(2)Fogueria Quest (Combat Quest)
[ After much time, Saber's managed to locate where the Fogueria may be found. As a user of Elemental Magic, she's been told that she would be a good matchup against the fiery beast. While she's mostly practiced with wind, she may as well learn to use water now.As she marches into the Land of Rot, however, she would definitely appreciate some help. While she may be the King of Knights, this land has most definitely robbed her of the vast majority of her abilities. She's unsure how powerful this beast is, so having anyone to help back her up in slaying this beast will be appreciated.

(3)Foraged and Found (Closed to Rin)
[ Saber's main priority is obtaining knighthood. Even if she is not a King in this land, she is still a Knight... however right now, she is only claiming to be a Knight. And that simply won't stand, will it?
However, even though this is the case, it seems she's been dragged along to something else entirely. ]

I appreciate it, however this is something I have practice in.
[ She aims the tip of her sword at the Fogueria. She visualizes one of her abilities from home... Strike Air: Hammer of the Wind King.
She doesn't have Invisible Air here, but she still remembers how it works. Water begins to swirl violently around her blade. ]
Besides, the instant I unleash this, can I ask you to charge in?
no subject
Right. [Back his sword goes to a reverse grip, and he drops his head and shoulders slightly in preparation.]

Hah...
[ The water swirls more violently around her blade. ]
HAH!!
[ She thrusts the blade forward, and with it, a blast of water fires out from the tip directly at the Fogueria. ]

[The moment the water leaves her blade, Dust breaks into a run, charging through the tall grass at speed. The stalks whip at him but don't slow him down in the slightest as a roar fills the air.]
[The Fogueria barely has time to shake its eyes clear before a vicious
rising slice knocks it practically eight feet into the air.]

[ Instantly, Saber conjures up some wind and blasts forward. It's not close to the speed she had in her own world, but she dashes through the tall grass at high-velocity, the wind behind her causing a large part of the grass to flatten onto the ground. ]
HAHHHHH!!
[ She uses wind to propel herself and water to attack. As the Fogueria is knocked eight feet into the air, Saber crashes into the fiery lion like a bullet with a sword of water.
The beast roars in response, but it's clearly been weakened heavily already by the surprise attack. Saber lands on the ground, wind still continuing to swirl around her as she generates more water around her sword. ]

[Saber comes down. Dust goes up, grabbing the fire being in a hand wreathed in water. His body arcs over it, and then a flicker of wind propels them both downwards so he can slam it into the ground.]
[Not done, Dust drops almost to the ground with the force of his descent, supporting himself on hands and a foot as he brings his leg around. The heel of his boot catches beneath the creature -- and he whips it over his head in a complete arc, slamming it into the ground again as the move brings him right back to his feet.] Now!
no subject
[ Water burst forth around Saber's blade, similarly to the light that came off whenever she unleashed her Noble Phantasm, and she propels herself forward yet again. ]
This is the end...!
[ She brings her blade down on the beast's head, unleashing a blast of water simultaneously as her blade cleaves through the beast of flame. ]

[He skips back a few steps, watching for Saber -- if the thing isn't dead, she's in a terrible spot!]
no subject
It seems our attack was successful.
no subject
Not surprising. That thing barely had a chance.
