[ A quest to take down monsters? To test his skills through sheer combat? Like anything else is going to really appeal to Bakugou, let's be real. Now that he has more than one magic type to master, it's more important. His philosophy is that he would best develop under pressure. Through practical means rather than being tied up at the training grounds.

It's with a feral expression that he takes on this task, cracking his knuckles as he dips into the labyrinth. ]

DON'T BOTHER SENDING ANYONE ELSE! JUST WAIT AND SEE!

[ Time for a classic RNG adventure! Just how far will our heroes get, because Bakugou isn't actually going in there alone is he? ]

You're going about this shit all wrong.

[ So says the blonde just sitting there with his hands in his pockets. Bakugou doesn't seem to be offering any assistance and will not elaborate unless asked further. Instead he just keeps watching with judging expression. This isn't something that is going to really be something done for "notoriety" so it's not something he's interested in doing. ]

Don't you have any brains in that head of yours?

[ It's not that, really. Not everyone is a nerd like Katsuki secretly is and has weird personality quirks. The reality is that Bakugou knows things that people wouldn't expect for him to. This is just one of those things... ]


( Vital Venoms ) **SKIP FOR SPIDERS**
[ Isn't spider venom a pretty common ingredient used in magic and potions in general? So it's not surprising that there's a quest to go out to collect some since apparently they are getting a little too active and coming out and saying hi to people. That's why he's out here and not because a certain nerd would also probably want some but likely get bitten in the process to deal with them even though this usually isn't something he'd be bothered with doing. ]

The hell does it matter if they are alive or not? Venom works regardless of the host still breathing!

[ Wouldn't it just be easier to collect the venom producing parts and bring them in? Katsuki is kind of grumbling about it when, wouldn't you know, he is the one walking right into one of those icky sticky webs! ]

BACK OFF!

[ Anyone else coming into the forest is going to be met with a rather interesting sight - Bakugou dangling in the air by the ankle. One of those vines has wrapped itself around the area. Missing people is definitely something to look into but he hadn't anticipated this. ]

Shitty plants!

[ He blasts at the vine with a weakish fireball. Enough to be let go - only for another one to grab him by the arm. ]

Argh!

[ To be honest... Bakugou is going to keep trying to break free with sheer force and destructive magic. ]


( Double Trouble )

[ Let's say you're enjoying your day in Camelot City. Maybe you're having a good time shopping or eating at one of the cafes in the area. It's a great day and even better weather. It should be spent outside, right? Yeah, well... There's a loud blast that's going to totally ruin the ambience. Smoke billows into the air and being thrown from it is one Bakugou Katsuki. He rolls across the ground a little, looking a bit roughed up as he catches himself. Pushing himself up, he coughs.

That's when his opponent then launches themselves from the dust cloud, another fireblast obscuring everyone's vision. Bakugou throws up a barrier to block the incoming attack - smoke once again billowing all around them...

And when the smoke clears... It's not one Bakugou Katsuki that stands there. It's two. ]

[While usually a sort of nightbird... Izuku somehow finds himself falling asleep really easily. Against Katsuki's warth and curled up with both familiars is somehow really content and comforting. He goes out like a light with one arm draped over his goat and Katsuki's hip.

Maybe he needed a good easy sleep like this. He doesn't dream for once. No strange nightmares about One For All or faces he doesn't want to see. He doesn't wake up after only an hour or two of sleep.

He had only shifted once in his sleep to bring his legs up more comfortably against the back of the couch's arm. And when the wee hours of the morning come Izuku is still fast asleep there against Katsuki's chest, a tiny bit of drool on the corner of his lip.]

[ Between Izuku drooling and SNOWBALL kind of chewing a bit on his shirt, Katsuki actually kind of notices that everyone is super comfortable. Honestly, even he is comfortable and feeling more rested now than he has in a while. Then there's Deku just laying there and Katsuki knows what kind of sleep that loser's been getting. Not nearly enough.

It's a reverse situation of what had happened at the icy inn. That time it had been Katsuki that had sort of latched onto Deku in his sleep. Now it seems like Izuku's done it and well. There's no breaking out of this without throwing some kind of fit. And frankly? That's not where Katsuki currently is. He's still a bit tired and out of it himself. His stupid brain is supplying him with the word cute ]

Gross.

[ Yet he manages to wiggle a hand free and just... Start brushing it through stupid green curls. What a rat's nest. ]

[It's an oddly content morning. With the sun just barely peeking over the horizon to let a marginal flicker of sunlight into the room. It's warm and quiet. Izuku still fast asleep as he listens to the sound of Katsuki's breathing. The familiars curled up with the both of them like a sort of cuddle-puddle. It's honestly stupid and picturesque.

Izuku snoozes on. The gentle feeling of fingers in his hair making him let out a soft breath as he shifts. His head moving to settle closer to Katsuki's collarbone and shoulder.]

Kacchaa...

[He murmurs softly. Maybe he really needed this sleep too. A full sleep through the night.]

[ It's Izuku's shifting that has the little goat eventually slipping down and off of Katsuki. He doesn't seem to mind, really. Goat-chan kind of settles right there on the floor next the couch, right where Katsuki's hand is. Stupid thing.

But now he can feel the warmth of Izuku's breath against his skin. Katsuki has a habit of wearing things that expose his collarbone. It tickles. Warms his neck and makes the hair on the back of his neck and on his arms rise. He's pushing back those green curls to take a look at that dumb cute face. Count those cute numerous freckles.

Now it's Bakugou that finds himself leaning down, kind of like how Izuku had before. That stupid drooly face... Katsuki doesn't even seem too disturbed by it. ]

[The warmth is so close. It makes Izuku slip into a hazy little dream of warmth and contentment. Some far-off fantasy where Katsuki is ...

... Wait. Is he...

Izuku seems to stir just lightly. Body shifting against Katsuki's weight and hand drifting just so over Katsuki's hip where he was resting it. He inhales softly, enjoying this distant and familiar smell of a boy. But then his eyes flicker open slowly and he blinks at Katsuki, half asleep.

Instead of panic or freaking out, Izuku seems to just lay there, motionless. Blinking slowly at Katsuki and glancing over his features.

This is still a dream. Right? Has to be. Yep.]

[ In that moment that Izuku starts to move, Katsuki freezes. What is he doing. What is he even doing!? He's in the process of rethinking all of this when he feels that hand move and hello. Very much aware of Izuku. Very much aware of every little spot that Izuku is touching. It's sort of like being trapped in the barrier last month only... Only there's nothing forcing them into such an awkward position.

They... They've done this all on their own. Completely on their own. His heart is hammering in his chest now. Certain things are starting to dawn on Katsuki. Of course other things are making themselves known too.

And all he can register is oh fuck. Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck. ]

[ To make it all worse? Izuku is now awake and looking at him. Awake and aware and looking at him. Katsuki has been totally caught and it's not even the first time! It's not even the second time they've been in this sort of situation!

He's embarrassed. Bakugou Katsuki is embarrassed and mortified and Deku still be half asleep and not realizing what is going on in other places please.

So he does the only thing he can think of to hide all of that. Yell. ]

THE HELL!? DO I LOOK LIKE YOUR PERSONAL PILLOW HERE!?

[ Which is going to result in a lot of kicking, fussing, and shoving. Trying to push Deku off and getting up.

Too bad he forgot about several factors. Deku is half asleep. He's still sluggish. There are two familiars that are suddnely awake and alert and making all kinds of noise and fussing themselves. ]

[ Which means there's feathers in his face. Dead weight being forced off of him. And Katsuki tripping over a certain goat while trying to get up.

Oh Deku will hit the floor and probably not too kindly. But he won't be the only one. Katsuki doesn't have the coordination just yet to stop himself from falling either -

Right back on top of Izuku.

And now he's right back to square one - looking at those dumb freckles and stupid green eyes! ]

[What was a peaceful quiet moment that Izuku thinks he's dreaming up entirely turns into something... the complete opposite. He'd been looking into sharp somehow pretty red eyes and then-!!!

When he's kicked and shoved Izuku is instantly awake and yelling, letting out a groan and a loud huff of pain as he is pretty much thrown off the couch! He hits the ground with a hard thump! His stomach got kicked so he's pretty sure he's out of breath and will be bruising!!]

W-h-Kaa--!!

[And then...

Why does this keep happening to them? The telltale whump of Katsuki tripping up and landing on him with a grunt. Another moment of them smashed together without any fault. Izuku is wide eyed and a little teary from the pain!]

Kacchan, that- hurts-!!

Izuku's voice comes out like a tiny little unsure squeak.]

Kacchan... You're...

[ Literally it's no one's fault that this has turned out the way that it has. Sure, maybe Katsuki could have been kinder about trying to get Izuku off of him, but that's really about it. It's not like Bakugou isn't aching because of it either. His forehead and knee definitely hit the floor hard. He's hissing and growling. Muttering swears while Deku starts to talk again... ]

No shit it hurts! You -

[ The stuttering gives it away. Shitty nerd has noticed and now Bakugou's blood runs cold. Cold through sheer panic! ]

[ One would think that the logical course of action would be to, you know, scramble back and try to get as far away as possible. But that would make it obvious, right? It'd be like he's embarrassed or something. Or ashamed. Bakugou Katsuki is not going to take a hit to his pride like that. ]

Dekuuuu.

[ He slaps a hand over the nerd's mouth. DON'T YOU DARE. ...Of course this might also mean leaning into Izuku a bit more but hey! ]

Finish that sentence and I'll melt your mouth right off.

[ Just ignore how red he is in the face, Izuku. Don't pay any attention to that or how his hands shake a little. ]

[Staying still...!! In most usual cases Izuku might have flailed so hard back at Katsuki that this would have turned into an all-out brawl in itself too! Or Izuku would have scrambled away when his fight or flight activated this time-

But with Katsuki's weight on him and that slap of that hand over his mouth he really can't go anywhere?!]

Hmmphh--!!

[So all he can do is stare at Katsuki while this weird heat starts to coil up in his stomach. He can feel- it- And Izuku Midoriya is three seconds away from watching his soul leave his body entirely.

He might not be able to help the way his cheeks get heated in a way that kind of shows off that he's not entirely of sound mind and body either. His eyes watering as his hands go to grip Katsuki's wrist tightly. But he's trying not to escalate this for once. Instead just looking at Katsuki like it's ... okay?? This is- fine??

This is... FINE..........]

[ What are two teenage boys to do other than brawl? That's the best way of showing off feelings, right? How else does one communicate if not through a fist connecting with another warm body?

Speaking of warm, Katsuki can see how the redness in Izuku's face really brings out those stupid little freckles. He almost forgets why he's pissed. Almost. But the nerd also doesn't look scared? Isn't flinching? At least he's not in this moment, even if those eyes are watering.

Is he scared that Katsuki is actually going to do something though? Augh! The blonde doesn't know! Can never tell what Deku is thinking in these moments. ]

I'm going to move.

[ Which means he's going to take his hand off and maybe try to get off of Izuku. More carefully this time? Depends on Izuku, really. ]

[For once he's not scared or flinching and he's not quite sure when that changed or why it's changed. Here Katsuki is who has just kicked him clean off the couch and is now breathing down at him like he's going to kill Izuku if he even mentions the brush of hips or the embarrassment. Maybe because Izuku knows this is kind of his fault?? He's the one who fell asleep on top of Katsuki without really asking. He probably deserved this.

All he does is give a weak nod when Katsuki speaks, letting him get off of Izuku without too much of a fuss if he picks to. When he can use his mouth again he gasp a little and mutters,]

Sorry...

[If Katsuki does climb off he'll try not to look at him, this anxiousness starting to build up again! ... He wants to say more but... This is really awkward!!]

[ It is awkward. Awkward as hell. Especially so for Katsuki because he doesn't have these damn problems.

The issue here is that, in getting to his feet, there's really no hiding anything either. Not if someone's actually bothering to look, that is. At least Katsuki can turn around and try to save something of is pride and dignity here. Can just walk away and pretend that nothing -

[ What the fuck is Deku sorry for? That just sends another bunch of thoughts flying through Bakugou's head. Sorry what? That this shitty little nerd turns him on? That Bakugou can make him blush like the shitty virgin he is or what? What is it?

So he does what he usually does - he gets huffy. ]

[ ...Bakugou has to try to save face. Of course there are many ways to interpret this sentence and Bakugou knows that. ]

[Once he's free at least Izuku scrambles to sit up. He pulls up and sits with his back against the couch, knees up and he tries to resist the urge to just hide his entire face.]

I- I'm sorry I fell asleep on you-

[But there is that obvious underlying attraction there, Katsuki was obviously affected by him and Izuku doesn't know how to swallow that right now and his face is hurting from blushing so much, okay?? All this embarrassment! Or is he reading all of that wrong??]

It wasn't that bad- was it?

[He mutters quickly, almost like he's frustrated it even ended like this!]

[ Wait? For falling asleep on him? That's what Deku is sorry - ]

Are you stupid!? [ Of all the things to feel sorry about. ] It happened before so of course you get one fucking freebie!

[ After all, can he really get mad that Deku just did what Katsuki had done before at the inn? Maybe there's no magically heated room that sucks the energy out of you, but Katsuki doesn't like owing anyone? So that's squared away now! ]

YOU SHOULD BE APOLOGIZING FOR GETTING YOUR GROSS DROOL ALL OVER ME!

[ But the most disconcerting part is that... Izuku isn't sorry for affecting Katsuki? And Katsuki is now aware of that obvious underlying attraction there. That's what it is. Attraction. Katsuki was obviously affected by him and Katsuki doesn't know how to swallow that right now either! Doesn't know how to process it. ]

[No, he's really not sorry about those parts. Izuku is really noticing that those little things are there- he can't just keep dreaming it all up. He knows he shouldn't think so but...! If these things keep happening what else is he supposed to think? He can't figure out the details right now. It's too much. His brain will go into overload.

Izuku huffs with a frustrated noise.]

[Katsuki said that to Izuku before- in the icy inn. With a swear word in there, but come on this is Izuku.]

[Izuku groans and quickly hides his face back in his arms!!]

[The pillow hits him and he wobbles but it just bounces right off him! Going to shove his fingers into his hair and try not to panic here!]

[ SO IS HE, REALLY! Honestly... It had been bad enough when he had acknowledged his own weaknesses and inability to actually deal with it. Bakugou had picked himself up from that with a lot of time spent to himself and figuring out how to continue to improve.

But this sort of feeling. It's stupid. He's a student in the hero courses! Bakugou has been through some shit! How is something like this tripping him up!? ]

OH YEAH!? IF I WALK AWAY YOU'RE JUST GONNA SIT THERE AND WALLOW AND NOT DO SHIT!

[Alright- If Katsuki is not going to take the chance to leave then Izuku will have to! All he has to do is calculate how much speed he needs and the best path to take to get to his room.

He's standing up, brushing his eyes with his hands.]

I'm not wallowing about anything, I'm going to get ready for my morning jog anyway-!

[Then he's going to try and brush past Katsuki and make a mad run for his room! BYE.]
