[ A quest to take down monsters? To test his skills through sheer combat? Like anything else is going to really appeal to Bakugou, let's be real. Now that he has more than one magic type to master, it's more important. His philosophy is that he would best develop under pressure. Through practical means rather than being tied up at the training grounds.

It's with a feral expression that he takes on this task, cracking his knuckles as he dips into the labyrinth. ]

DON'T BOTHER SENDING ANYONE ELSE! JUST WAIT AND SEE!

[ Time for a classic RNG adventure! Just how far will our heroes get, because Bakugou isn't actually going in there alone is he? ]

You're going about this shit all wrong.

[ So says the blonde just sitting there with his hands in his pockets. Bakugou doesn't seem to be offering any assistance and will not elaborate unless asked further. Instead he just keeps watching with judging expression. This isn't something that is going to really be something done for "notoriety" so it's not something he's interested in doing. ]

Don't you have any brains in that head of yours?

[ It's not that, really. Not everyone is a nerd like Katsuki secretly is and has weird personality quirks. The reality is that Bakugou knows things that people wouldn't expect for him to. This is just one of those things... ]

( Vital Venoms ) **SKIP FOR SPIDERS**
[ Isn't spider venom a pretty common ingredient used in magic and potions in general? So it's not surprising that there's a quest to go out to collect some since apparently they are getting a little too active and coming out and saying hi to people. That's why he's out here ~~and not because a certain nerd would also probably want some but likely get bitten in the process~~ to deal with them even though this usually isn't something he'd be bothered with doing. ]

The hell does it matter if they are alive or not? Venom works regardless of the host still breathing!

[ Wouldn't it just be easier to collect the venom producing parts and bring them in? Katsuki is kind of grumbling about it when, wouldn't you know, he is the one walking right into one of those icky sticky webs! ]

BACK OFF!

[ Anyone else coming into the forest is going to be met with a rather interesting sight - Bakugou dangling in the air by the ankle. One of those vines has wrapped itself around the area. Missing people is definitely something to look into but he hadn't anticipated this. ]

Shitty plants!

[ He blasts at the vine with a weakish fireball. Enough to be let go - only for another one to grab him by the arm. ]

Argh!

[ To be honest... Bakugou is going to keep trying to break free with sheer force and destructive magic. ]

( Double Trouble )

[ Let's say you're enjoying your day in Camelot City. Maybe you're having a good time shopping or eating at one of the cafes in the area. It's a great day and even better weather. It should be spent outside, right? Yeah, well... There's a loud blast that's going to totally ruin the ambience. Smoke billows into the air and being thrown from it is one Bakugou Katsuki. He rolls across the ground a little, looking a bit roughed up as he catches himself. Pushing himself up, he coughs.

That's when his opponent then launches themselves from the dust cloud, another fireblast obscuring everyone's vision. Bakugou throws up a barrier to block the incoming attack - smoke once again billowing all around them...

And when the smoke clears... It's not one Bakugou Katsuki that stands there. It's two. ]

[ Bakugou might be coming back to the house at odd hours and pretty exhausted. Between going out and facing shit like slimes and monsters there's also bees and shitty spiders. On top of that? There's a lot of things that he had been put through last month that haven't been entirely processed. Things that have really been on Bakugou's mind - because that's what he does, right? Katsuki thinks and thinks and thinks on things until they're bouncing around in his mind at such a speed that they eventually work their way out at the most inconvenient moment.

Then there's also the fact he's keeping himself busy with all this crap so he's not overwhelmed by the thoughts ~~and emotions~~ that are driving him nuts. So naturally he's thrown himself into working on his magic even more. Hence the coming back exhausted. Literally what Katsuki has been doing is getting a shower and cooking and then going straight to bed. There's no time for anything between.

Except for maybe today. He's gotten his shower in and instead of going right to the kitchen, he's plopping down onto the couch, sprawling out and scrolling through his phone. It's all right to just sit there for a moment, right? Towel around his neck, he's just going to wait until he's completely dry before proceeding with his next task. ]

[Izuku is a fairly normal night bird, himself. He tends to stay up until weird hours of the night especially when he has something to sink his thoughts into. It's easier to occupy his brain with studying and stories than think too hard about all the other things going on. Thinking about how he can apply his new magic to helping people and being a type of hero here (a knight?) is better than overthinking things elsewhere. Thoughts of what's been going on lately with Katsuki and the issues with ... Shigaraki... Izuku's sleep patterns are all over the place again.

He wanders downstairs with a book in hand when the hour turns over. Leaving his room to sneak into the kitchen for some sort of snack or any of the leftovers that Katsuki might have left behind.

He passes by the back of the couch where the fireplace is still burning lowly to see a lazed-out Katsuki there. He stops for a brief moment, a word or greeting hanging on his lips.]

... Ah- You're still awake, Kacchan?

[In all honesty, Ochako was doing a bit of shopping. She was stocking up on some foodstuffs to make a simple lunch and dinner tonight (just some rice, potatoes, carrots, and chicken for a simple katsu curry recipe), but the blast makes her yelp in shock and surprise, her own being drowned out by the numerous other screams and shouts from crowd-goers and merchants.

Instantly, Ochako's switch is flipped, and she drops all her things and races toward the nearest civilian who looks like they've fallen from the force of the blast. She checks them over, to make sure they're alright, then is on her feet instantly, calling out in the loudest voice she can.]

EVERYONE!! PLEASE EVACUATE THE AREA! GET INSIDE AND DO NOT PERMIT EXIT UNTIL THE PERIMETER IS SAFE!!

[Thankfully, though small, once she lifts up into the air from her qui--no...no. Not quirk, it's still just magic, Ochako. Kinetic magic. In the air, she can get a better vantage point, making sure people are clearing the area like she said, and she can also see what in the world is going on. However what - or who - she sees startles her somewhat.

It's Bakugou, but not just one. Two of him, as she she directs herself towards the two, and drops from the air with a small hyup!, Ochako stands her ground and flicks her eyes back at forth between the two. There's a dangerous expression slowly overtaking her features, lips curling back over her teeth and eyes fierce. One of the League was already here...so it'd be no wonder that she could appear, too. But...no, it's impossible. Quirks don't work here, she wouldn't be able to--]

I really...don't like copycats. [Her eyes scan over each one of the two blondes in turn, and Ochako shifts into a battle stance. She'll sock either one of them, no problem.]

[ Unfortunately, getting people out of the way is the last thing on either one's mind. For one wants to destroy the original at any cost and the other wants to destroy this close before things get too out of hand. Good for Ochako that she is acting like a real hero here and thinking about the bystanders before jumping into the fray herself.

The two are at an impasse though. One is pressed against the barrier, trying to use magic to force his way through. The other is working on keeping the barrier up. He's about to try to attempt the spikes from his barrier when his double umps away.

Both turn to Ochako. Both look equally pissed. There is literally no way to tell them apart based on physical appearance. ]

STAY OUT OF THIS! IT DOESN'T CONCERN YOU!

[ Geez. They even sound the same. At the same time! ]

Damnit!

[ A whispered echo of a curse comes from nearby. Shinsou had been hoping to scope out the Spiders on his own and possibly do this Quest all on his own, but then along came the loudmouthed asshole. ]

Hey! Shut up, they're gonna hear you!

[ Whether his barely-above-a-whisper chastising works or not, he starts looking around in the webbing for his targets. So much for recon. ]

[ There's always leftovers. Katsuki makes sure to make enough for the both of them. It's just habit now more than any desire to make sure that he does. At least now he knows that the nerd isn't filling himself with shitty food that's not going to have any nutritional value. Of course Bakugou is also pretty strict on the cleaning too.

He looks in the direct of Deku, getting close to the point where exhaustion normally takes over. It makes for a rather mellow Katsuki, to be fair. ]

Ah? Not for long.

[ He's such an old man. Going to bed early in the evening is just how he is. That hasn't changed. Though if Deku really takes a peek around, he'll find that, sure enough, the little goat is resting quite soundly under Katsuki's feet already. ]

[Izuku sweatdrops as soon as he sees the little goat curled up against Katsuki's feet like he's the coziest thing in the world. That little...]

I thought ... you'd be asleep by now.

[Because Katsuki is an early bird and an easy sleeper too. Almost the complete opposite of Izuku in that sense. Izuku has been trying to keep his noise down when he knows that Katsuki might be already sleeping.

With his book in hand he fidgets and debates if he should sit...??]

I was just getting a snack. I won't be loud.

Just barely got back and out of the shower. That's not a problem, is it?

[ Would Deku prefer Katsuki to be tucked away in bed, snoozing the evening away? Doesn't want him underfoot for his alchemy bullshit? SO HE CAN LEAVE A MESS EVERYWHERE AND TRY TO CLEAN IT UP BEFORE BAKUGOU WAKES UP?

..Augh. Actually forget it. He can't muster the energy to be nasty. Or really think too hard. ]

Do whatever.

[ HEY NO ONE ASKED YOU TO GO POKING YOUR NOSE AROUND IN AN AREA HE HAD CLAIMED FOR HIMSELF! ]

Let them hear me!? I'll fry every single one of them! The fuck their corpses can't still be used!

[ Did he really think whispering and telling Bakugou what to do was going to work? Really? Pffft! That's funny!

But no, really. Bakugou's just squirming and yanking those webs he's tangled up in even more. That's going to draw more attention than his yelling. ]

No, it's really not...

[Izuku mutters quickly and with a small smile on his lips he does turn to head towards the kitchen. Katsuki is kind of half-asleep, isn't he. He'll probably fall asleep any second now. So maybe he'll just grab his snack and munch on it in the kitchen quickly and head back to his room to leave Katsuki (and his goat...) rest...

But when Izuku wanders back he does glance at the couch again. Where the two of them are all cozied up on the couch.

Katsuki...]

[ That's pretty much the correct assumption here. Katsuki has already nodded off in the couple of moments between Deku walking into the kitchen area and puttering around. Honestly the blonde should have just huffed and walked on up the stairs to his bed, but he's been pretty exhausted lately. Besides there shouldn't be an issue with just falling asleep there, right?

The traitorous goat, on the other hand, simply looks up and at Izuku expectantly. As if to say well? ]

[This little betrayer of his...

Izuku sighs softly under his breath. It is a bit tempting to stay up a little while longer. He doesn't really want to sleep just yet even if he can feel the lag of sleepiness starting to catch up with him too.

He looks down at his book. Then at the couch. Then at his book. Then at his room... This internal conflict repeats a few times until he finally and nervously, moves to the couch. He is very very careful as he sits down on the couch on the free spot that will fit him. Easing into the seat in hopes that he doesn't jostle Katsuki awake...

Then he's giving the goat a look like- Are you happy??]

[ Now now. Izuku should know better than that. When Katsuki is in full blown sleep mode, there's not much anyone can do to really get him pissed. That much had become clear during their little Christmas party. Someone had even tied a rope to Katsuki's leg and put him in festive gear! So really there's no need to be all that careful. Even if that jostling had managed to wake him, Bakugou would just grunt and shift and go right back to sleep.

Something that's somehow easier than it has been for a while.

Meanwhile the goat is not impressed. He looks between Izuku and the blonde. Look at all that prime real estate right there! Well if Izuku isn't going to occupy it then maybe he will. Which means the goat is standing up. He shakes his butt a little with every intention to jump up and wedge himself between Katsuki and Izuku. ]

[No you don't- goat-chan!!! Izuku grunts quickly, dropping his book to the ground in favour or snatching up his goat in mid-air! Holding him and then promptly letting out a small noise of panic as he flops over from the inbalancing-

... How about that for Katsuki being a heavy sleeper?

Because Izuku is accidentally flopping down on him with a huff as he handles his goat in his arms...]

Ne... This isn't- [This isn't good. Izuku frowns at his little spike of jealousy. Because now here he is... on top of Katuski's chest.]

[ Okay so he's not so much a heavy sleeper that he's not going to wake a bit from someone colliding against his chest.

Though there's no yelling. Just two crimson orbs staring down at Deku with a half-glazed expression. Like he isn't really taking in any information to his brain at the moment. Probably because it isn't actually registering that the nerd is like, right there.

Instead he's going to be met with tired, sleepy blinking followed by a ruffle of goat-chan. Then Katsuki rolls his head back and sinks further into the couch.

Yeap. That's about it. ]

[His heart nearly stops midbeat when he looks up only to see Katsuki's sleepy eyes slowly blinking at him. He's about to die-

... Or- Katsuki goes right back to snoozing? Izuku blinks incredulously before he glances at his goat who is also starting to settle back down in a little donut on Katsuki's chest right there next to Izuku. Like everything is meant to be. This little...

It takes a minute of debating with himself before Izuku swallows hard and settles. Maybe he can just close his eyes for a little while and wake up later to sneak into his room. It's warm and cozy right here... Maybe this isn't so bad. He's starting to feel sleepy...]

[ Don't blame the stinky snowball for doing what you want to do but are too afraid to, Deku. At least this little goat has the courage to just keep going after what he wants? Which, right now, is apparently resting on Katsuki's chest... At some point Ruby decides she wants to drop in as well. Now isn't that sweet. The whole fucking family is here.

Meanwhile Katsuki is completely oblivious, not that he'd care at the moment. This is probably some of the best sleep he's gotten in a while. No nightmares. No thoughts about the future and the fact he doesn't have his Quirk. It's actually blissful oblivion. This means that it's going to be a good amount of time before he decides to finally crack eyes open. He's not awake yet - the sun is maybe an hour or two from rising - but this is when he starts to maybe notice the little menagerie gathered here.

And just. Lays there. Half bewildered in his tired state. ]

[While usually a sort of nightbird... Izuku somehow finds himself falling asleep really easily. Against Katsuki's warth and curled up with both familiars is somehow really content and comforting. He goes out like a light with one arm draped over his goat and Katsuki's hip.

Maybe he needed a good easy sleep like this. He doesn't dream for once. No strange nightmares about One For All or faces he doesn't want to see. He doesn't wake up after only an hour or two of sleep.

He had only shifted once in his sleep to bring his legs up more comfortably against the back of the couch's arm. And when the wee hours of the morning come Izuku is still fast asleep there against Katsuki's chest, a tiny bit of drool on the corner of his lip.]

[Not everyone was having as much trouble. Well, Homura did earlier, initially confused until she figured out what was up. Right now though? She seemed to be smirking as she bounced along the walls and her wind magic. This was actually kinda fun training, something the grounds simply didn't have.

Every vine that closed in were sliced by her blood claws; so long as she remained focused and had those thin crimson arm guards formed of blood too, she could prevent additional blood loss.

By the time she and Bakugo faced each other, she frowned, eye twitching. They really needed to stop meeting at weird times like these.]

I'd ask if you need help, but you'd likely sooner tell me to get bent, so... have fun![She vanishes, wind magic propelling her upward to continue her waltz with the vines focused on her.]

[ Between Izuku drooling and SNOWBALL kind of chewing a bit on his shirt, Katsuki actually kind of notices that everyone is super comfortable. Honestly, even he is comfortable and feeling more rested now than he has in a while. Then there's Deku just laying there and Katsuki knows what kind of sleep that loser's been getting. ~~Not nearly enough~~.

It's a reverse situation of what had happened at the icy inn. That time it had been Katsuki that had sort of latched onto Deku in his sleep. Now it seems like Izuku's done it and well. There's no breaking out of this without throwing some kind of fit. And frankly? That's not where Katsuki currently is. He's still a bit tired and out of it himself. ~~His stupid brain is supplying him with the word cute~~ ]

Gross.

[ Yet he manages to wiggle a hand free and just... Start brushing it through stupid green curls. What a rat's nest. ]

[It's an oddly content morning. With the sun just barely peeking over the horizon to let a marginal flicker of sunlight into the room. It's warm and quiet. Izuku still fast asleep as he listens to the sound of Katsuki's breathing. The familiars curled up with the both of them like a sort of cuddle-puddle. It's honestly stupid and picturesque.

Izuku snoozes on. The gentle feeling of fingers in his hair making him let out a soft breath as he shifts. His head moving to settle closer to Katsuki's collarbone and shoulder.]

Kacchaa...

[He murmurs softly. Maybe he really needed this sleep too. A full sleep through the night.]

[ It's Izuku's shifting that has the little goat eventually slipping down and off of Katsuki. He doesn't seem to mind, really. Goat-chan kind of settles right there on the floor next the couch, right where Katsuki's hand is. Stupid thing.

But now he can feel the warmth of Izuku's breath against his skin. Katsuki has a habit of wearing things that expose his collarbone. It tickles. Warms his neck and makes the hair on the back of his neck and on his arms rise. He's pushing back those green curls to take a look at that dumb ~~cute~~ face. Count those ~~cute~~ numerous freckles.

Now it's Bakugou that finds himself leaning down, kind of like how Izuku had before. That stupid drooly face... Katsuki doesn't even seem too disturbed by it. ]

[No way to tell, no, and...honestly, a part of her does feel bad for what she's about to do, but...what choice does Ochako have? They're fighting in the middle of a shopping area, where lots of people congregate - if Ochako hesitates and lets them continue their stupid duel, lots of innocent people might get hurt. That, and the property damage will be critical. It's hero's duty to make sure to keep damage to property to a minimum...and to never ever endanger the lives of civilians.

Getting them far away from here won't work, they're too stubborn and pigheaded, and Ochako's not sure she can take them both on at once, but...like hell that's going to stop her now. Hopefully once she bangs the real Bakugou around a little bit, his walnut brain will lock into place and he'll see reason for long enough to take this fight to a less populated area.]

WHEN YOU RISK THE LIVES OF INNOCENT PEOPLE, IT DOES CONCERN ME!!

[She shifts her posture suddenly, and the tips of her fingers glow that soft, pink color as that same glow surrounds both of the two Bakugous, and each one of them begins to start lifting up and off the ground...

Before being forcibly flung into the barrier, the ground, the side of a building nearby - their bodies becoming Ping-Pong balls as Ochako waves her hands about in the air.]

I'LL TAKE YOU BOTH ON IF IT MEANS MAKING SURE EVERYONE STAYS SAFE! THAT'S WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A HERO!!! IF YOU THINK I'M WRONG, THEN COME FIGHT ME HEAD ON! [It's...a purposeful goading. Baiting. The real Bakugou would, she hopes, prioritize safety above battle - it's what they were all taught at UA. He's not so bloodthirsty that he'd continue to wreck havoc on a populated area like this. Stand down, make a tactical retreat to a better spot to fight...something. Show her the real you, Bakugou. Ochako is putting her faith in you now.]

[ They really, really do. She kind of grates on his nerves a little? But then again, a lot of people grate on his nerves. Bakugou doesn't much care for people in general. That's just the type of person. She's right though. It's not like Bakugou would ask for her help. He wouldn't ask for anyone's help. ]

Go on! I don't want your shitty help!

[ To avoid another round of fights with vines? Bakugou's making a bubble shield around himself!

Now... Well. We'll see how long it holds up. He's not good with these. ]

[The warmth is so close. It makes Izuku slip into a hazy little dream of warmth and contentment. Some far-off fantasy where Katsuki is ...

... Wait. Is he...

Izuku seems to stir just lightly. Body shifting against Katsuki's weight and hand drifting just so over Katsuki's hip where he was resting it. He inhales softly, enjoying this distant and familiar smell of a boy. But then his eyes flicker open slowly and he blinks at Katsuki, half asleep.

Instead of panic or freaking out, Izuku seems to just lay there, motionless. Blinking slowly at Katsuki and glancing over his features.

This is still a dream. Right? Has to be. Yep.]
