[ As nice as it is to be here with so many classmates, the girls of Class 1-A decide they need some "us" time, away from the boys. Midoriya mutters too much, Bakugou yells too much, Shinsou barely knows anybody, and Amajiki-senpai, well... He tries but he's not exactly the most thrilling company. No, the girls are better off striking out on their own, and so they pick a weekend and decide to go have a fun beach trip!

First, they shop for whatever supplies they may need before leaving Camelot (food, beach blankets, umbrellas, a swimsuit-- if you dare risking a dip in the icy waters, that is!). Then, they rent a carriage and head for the bay. They spend a carefree, fun, relaxing day on the beach and then take the carriage back to Red Springs. It's too long of a journey there and back to do all in one day, so they've gotten rooms at the inn for the night. And, it's the perfect opportunity to visit the springs themselves, and get a good soak in! All in all, it's the recipe for the best trip ever-- or rather, the best trip you can have when you're all stranded in a fantasy land outside of space and time. Semantics. ]

[Jiro, of all people, would definitely be a good choice for this sort of thing - after all, she and Momo hang out enough that surely she should know her friend's style by now!

[Look, it's the easy, instinctual answer when she can't pick and Momo's right here - if anything, maybe she can help pay for it if Momo needs a little extra!!]

[ Momo can always trust Jiro to say what she is thinking. Sure, Momo wants to buy them both, but... For the first time in her life she's trying to work within a budget. ]

Well, no. At least, they're not that expensive, if I'm figuring the conversion of Yen to Gold right. But... Would that be overkill? It's still too cold to actually go for a swim. And I don't know if I'll still be here by summer time.

Just get'em both. I'll spot you if you need anything extra. Plus, what if you need a spare?
We're getting food and everything too, aren't we? No guarantee it won't be messy.

[She's hoping that'll be enough to put at least some of those worries to rest.

'Sides, if we won't be here by summertime, all the more reason to spend the money you've got, right? The locals aren't going anywhere once we're back home - you'll be helping them out by buying their stuff while you've got the chance.

[ Though really... Since when has Momo ever been a messy eater? She's going to eat carefully and daintily ~~with her pinkie extended~~, and dab up any crumbs with a napkin. ]

You're right. It's our duty to stimulate the economy of Camelot while we are staying here. It's the least we can give them in return!

Yeah, that's what I meant.

[Well, sort of. Really, she was just going on about stuff she knows Momo cares about --]

How much are they gonna cost together? You got enough to cover'em?
Like I said, I don't mind spotting you if you need it. Feels kinda weird to offer that to you, of all people, but...

[ Momo blushes when Jiro points out the incongruity of her needing to borrow money. She so rarely felt uncomfortable about (or even noticed) the financial disparity between herself and her friends, but now that they're all on equal footing, it feels awkward to have her sudden relative poverty pointed out. ]

Mm, no. I think I can cover it myself. But thank you for the offer.

[ She pulls out her phone and checks her banking app really quickly, doing the mental math. ]

If... you could pay for the snacks we'll need today, however, I would appreciate it.

[For some reason even Jiro doesn't quite get, she ends up smiling at how flustered Momo seems to be about all this.
Maybe it's just cute, the way she's reacting... yeah, it's probably that.]

You know me, Yaomomo. I'll help you out with whatever you need.

[She's already got some in mind for her own awful tastes - hot chips and cheese straws come to mind instantly for someone like her - but Momo's tastes are a lot more... high end than her own are.
She's gotta keep that in consideration!!]

[ Thankfully, Jiro offering her help as always makes Momo feel a little less flustered, so an easy smile slips back onto her face (though her cheeks remain a little flushed). ]

Well, I've decided to bring some tea along-- iced, not hot-- so, I suppose anything that would be good to accompany that! Cucumber sandwiches, maybe?

[ Momo, that is not something that goes well with hot chips and cheese straws. ]

Cucumber sandwiches...? [That's parroted very quietly to herself with some kind of fond disbelief - anytime Momo whips out something that feels kinda bougie, it always seems to remind Jiro just what kinda person her best friend is.
A good one, that is. She's a wonderful person.]

I'll get whatever you think is best, how's that? And I can grab whatever I think'll fit well with the rest of it, too.
Y'know, easy finger food and junk like that. Maybe I'll even get you some new stuff to try?

[ What is a girl's day without sweets, after all? But Momo knows that her tastes run a bit more... refined... than her classmates', so she is open to whatever anyone wants to bring. ]

Oh, yes! I'd love to try some new snacks. There are so many foods here that I've never had before.

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of foods just back home that you haven't tried.
But I'll focus on getting you some good junk to try. ... Stuff I'll vet beforehand, obviously.

[Well, maybe not all of it. It might be kind of fun to try something new with Yaomomo, only to find out it's disgusting.]

I know what kinda flavors you like when it comes to sweets, but what about savory stuff?

[ She agrees, knowing that Jiro wouldn't steer her wrong. She gathers up both of the outfits she was trying on, and goes to take them to the counter to pay. ]

Savory? Hm, well... I like prosciutto, some sharp cheeses. A good charcuterie board can never go amiss! It's... ohh...

[ She looks around somewhat guiltily, as though not wanting to be overheard. ]

...It's a little indulgent, but I do enjoy scallops wrapped in bacon!
