i. Sir Fuzzlerton the Cad
[Well, this is quite the hilarious quest, actually. Ochako actually was giggling about it as she read the description on her phone's app, but decided to try it anyway. It seems harmless and simple enough, even if it is a bit time consuming... Still, what else has she got to do today? Nothing, really...so why not help out? Besides, she really could use the reward money, and it's almost like being given meager tasks as a Hero to do on the daily!! She's starting to get used to doing things like this, really, and it keeps Ochako busy.
So, as she preps herself to be out for the day looking for Sir Fuzzlerton, Ochako stares hard at the picture that his owner put of him on the quest descriptions, and tries to memorize it. Maybe she should contact one of her friends, too? Mm...this doesn't seem like anything at least one of them would partake in, and to be fair, they're probably doing it or the other quests posted as well. Maybe she'll run into them? Shoving a few bottles of water into her pack, and a bento box of greens (listen, it's decent bait for a waskly wabbit) soon after, she shoulders her bag and heads out to the first of many new bunny cafes that opened up, heading to the staff first to ask questions and if they've noticed an, um...f-frisky rabbit hopping about.]
He looks like this, and belongs to someone looking to get him back... Would it be alright if I looked around a little bit? I promise I won't bother any of the other rabbits, or customers, while I'm here!!
ii. Run Snagglefoot Run
[Now this is more the kind of quest Ochako is used to. She's not against doing the simpler, more mundane ones, but the adrenaline rush she feels when stopping an actual thief is few and far between. It actually makes her feel somewhat like she's back in Musutafu, fighting crime and stopping villains alongside her senpai, Nejire, and the Dragoon Hero, Ryukyu. Still...this particular thief is a tricky one to get a grip on, and Ochako is definitely getting frustrated. Man, it'd be pretty simple if she had her quirk, or her hero gear, but alas...nothing of the sort. What she does have, however, is a large and very fast running dire wolf familiar, who shows up at last when Ochako calls for her.]
Aludra, I need you!! [The white wolf seems to blinks into existence rather suddenly, its glittering coat like starlight as it curiously peers at its partner, then folds its ears back as it takes in her appearance. Ochako is winded, having been chasing Snagglefoot for several miles and always just missing him. Damnit...he's probably got his greedy little mitts on so many other stolen goods, too!] Please, this time it's important - there's a criminal about and I can't catch him on foot. I-I know...hah...you don't like me riding you, b-but...I really...r-really need your help!
[The wolf is fast, Ochako has seen it before - when Aludra runs she looks like the tail of a shooting star. It was part of how the brunette figures out the wolf's name was that of a star. The star making up the 'tail' in the constellation Canis Major...the greater dog. It's actually rather hysterical, that the dire wolf is so connected to space like that. Sort of like Ochako is, heh. They really were meant for each other. Hopefully, that'll mean the large beast will let the girl ride her...which she has not let happen since arriving in Avalon.]
Please. You know I wouldn't ask otherwise... And it'd be just this once, until we catch him. O-Or if you can somehow make me faster, I-- [Her phone buzzes. It's an alert. The thief is headed for the Red Spring. Shit, she's running out of time!]
iii. Farmers-R-Us
[Ochako never really done this sort of work before - there's not a lot of farmland where she lives, not unless you really go towards the more rural towns and villages, away from the major cities in Japan. She's of course been to farms before, obviously, but never really done work there. Still, it's honest work, and after some pointers from the farmhands, it's easy enough. Laborious, definitely, but Ochako's not against working up a good sweat!! It's a bit like early morning training, and a damn good work out to boot. She'll be doing this for a good, long while...
Hence why she's sort of wearing a lot of her usual workout gear as she goes about, turning soil removing roots and rocks, and hauling feed to the animals. She's pretty dusty towards the middle of the afternoon, sighing a bit as she heads back into the field from her break to take a drink and just rest a while. Breaks are important, after all!! No need to be overheating, or overworking, to the point of real fatigue! As she picks up her hoe to get back to work, she notices one of the farmer's dogs poking at something a fair bit away in the brush. Uh, oh...that better not be a rabbit den. Ol' Fido's gonna get is big trouble if he decided to attack any bunnies this month...]
Hey, hey, none of that!! Don't you do anything naughty over there, you! [Spooked by getting caught (and the prospect of getting punished), the dog races away, and Ochako is hurrying over quickly toward what it left. Sadly for her, though, Ochako has the marvelous misfortune to be right in the middle of a nest of pixies as they emerge and make the assumption that their home was disturbed and destroyed by the girl. Oh boy. Zipping about, clawing and biting at her arms and face, pulling at her hair, Ochako squeaks with horror and tries to swat them away, racing to try and take shelter...anywhere, really.]
AAAHH, G-GO AWAY!! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!! I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP KEEP THE DOG AWAY!!! EYAAH! OW, OW, STOP BITING!!
iv. Wildcard!!

[ She can't help but ask... even though she's seen all kinds of people here who haven't necessarily been 100% human. In any case, she blushes a little at the compliment. ]

Quirks are what we call metahuman abilities in my world - sort of like superpowers - that most people are born with or manifest when they turn five. I have one too, or, eh...h-had one...before I came here. [Ochako holds up her hand, splaying out her five fingers. Yuzu will be able to see, on each pad of those five digits, the skin is a tiny bit pinker, and slightly raised, almost like a cat's toebeans.] Mine was Zero Gravity - anything I'd touch with all five fingers I could make float by removing its gravity.
People, super heavy objects like cars, speedboats, and huge boulders...I could make them all float if I touched them with all of my fingers. I could also use it to float myself up, too. Usually for scouting from up above, and the boosters in my Hero Costume's boots would propel me around the air, since things I float are held in stasis unless struck by an opposing force. Or unless I release my quirk and gravity resumes on the object...making it fall to the ground again.

[ ...could you blame her for thinking the pads were cute? Not that she's about to say that out loud, of course. ]
Everyone's worlds are so interesting... and I thought mine was crazy...
no subject
[She shuffles a bit in place, rubbing the back of her neck a little. It's not common that she's praised for her quirk, probably because it's not super duper flashy or cool or anything like that? Plus, she usually barfs after using it too much.]
I'm not sure if you've met him, but my friend here - Bakugou - could create explosions from his palms...and Momo-chan could create anything from her body so long as she had enough to eat, and knew the inner working and composition of what she was making. Shields, a bo staff, various clothes, even really large things like speakers and canons. [A pause.] Ah...I guess it does sound a little weird?
no subject
[ There really are all kinds of worlds, huh... she wonders what others would think of her world, where there's four dimensions and battles using duels... which felt normal to her, but apparently people don't have duels here? Which honestly feels incredibly alien to her. ]
no subject
[It goes without saying, obviously, because people are still people, regardless of superpowers or not, but Ochako would like to at least put it out there that her world isn't just sunshine and rainbows and cool superpowers. ...Though--]
What about you, Yuzu-chan? What's your world, like? Ah, tell me on the way, we should get this bunny back home.
no subject
[ They do still have the bunny in the carrier, so Yuzu picks it up, ready to go. Though they did scare away most of the buns in the commotion, it at least leaves Yuzu able to get up. ]
My world, huh? It's nothing that special... though apparently nobody knows about Duel Monsters here, which honestly feels like the strangest thing to me...
no subject
Mm, that does sound hard...it's still that way with me and quirks - I have to explain them to a lot of people every time. The only ones that know about them are people from home...my friends and classmates. What are Duel Monsters, though? It sounds like a video game boys would play... [Hell, Kaminari would probably love something like that. Kirishima, too, since it sounds 'manly'.]
I apologize for all the arc-v things in this—
[ And by everybody she means everybody. Seriously, there were giant stadiums for dueling that would get packed all the time. In the Synchro Dimension, dueling was both a way of life and a slippery ladder to the top. Meanwhile the Xyz Dimension had been ravaged by it, and the Fusion Dimension were the ones who did that. ]
It's a game where you summon monsters in things called duels, but we had duel disks that let us actually summon the monsters on the cards and even touch them! My familiar is actually a Duel Monster as well, though... it's normally bigger, and not even mine, actually...
[ Odd-Eyes was Yuya's ace monster, not hers. It's not like she expected to end up here in Avalon, but if she did, she would've expected a monster from her own deck rather than his... still, it's not like she didn't appreciate the dragon's company. ]
lol no worries
But--...wait a second. Actually summoning monsters? Like for real monsters? Like in all her crazy fantasy animes and that one magical girl manga that Ochako loves where monsters and spirits were sealed inside cards and could be called upon with a cute staff? Hmmm....cool.]
Oooh...were they like actual monsters?! Did you summon them with magic and stuff?! Th-That's so cool!! What types of monsters were there?! Your familiar is kind of weird-looking, but it's kind of cute, too!! I like it! [Ah, that girlish rambling when she gets excited about something, mixed in with her blunt and honest nature that can get kind of...rude, on accident. Yuzu might even hear a brief slip of Ochako's Kansai accent coming through, too, when she really gets going.]
no subject
[ Honestly, it was all very complicated and it'd probably take up a lot of time explaining everything... including how it was found out that the monsters had souls. Fortunately, Ochako's ramble takes her attention instead, and she laughs a bit when she hears her start to ramble, even when she calls her familiar weird. Plus, her accent was another fun thing to find out about. ]
But yes, actual monsters! There were all kinds of monsters... fairies, dragons, machines, birds, magicians, knights... and because of Real Solid Vision and Action Duels, we could touch, interact, and even ride them! That's kind of where the sports part comes from, since in Action Duels, you're running around the field alongside them.
no subject
Ahem.]
Uwaaah, that's so cool!! So they really were like living creatures!! [But also not? That's so weird.] Your world sounds really advance, Yuzu-chan. We have some cool tech, but nothing like that...
no subject
[ Don't even get her started on the dimensional war...
No, seriously, don't... she doesn't have good memories of that, especially when said-memories involve seeing some of her friends get turned into cards, which had been the equivalent of death until it became possible to reverse that. ]
Still, I'd show you if I had my Duel Disk... but I only arrived here with my deck, so I can't really do much with that.
no subject
W-Well...people here don't really know what it means to be a hero, either...or anything about quirks and all the things I know. It's sort of weird, having to explain it all the time to every new person I meet... I'm glad I have my classmates to talk to, but it must be harder for you, Yuzu-chan.
[Since she hasn't said anyone else form her world is here, Ochako assumes she's all on her own... It's really a bit sad, and were she not holding the carrier with Fuzzlerton in it, she'd probably hold the other girl's hand gently. Ochako knows how lonely it can get, bein on your own.]
Oh!! If you have your deck, I still want to see the cards!! Maybe you can teach me a bit of the basics, too? I'd love to hear about it!
no subject
Yeah... still, though, apparently they're safe back home! Even if time is apparently stopped for them...
[ Still, she perks up at the last part. ]
R-Really? Of course, I'd love to!
[ Yuzu herself didn't expect herself to get so excited at Ochako's suggestion, but... the idea of teaching somebody about something like dueling, something so close to her own world... well, the way her expression brightens says it all. ]
no subject
Sure!! Once we get this bunny back home to its mama, we can find somewhere nice to sit and you can teach me! J-Just don't get too upset if I'm really dumb about it...
[Because Ochako's not...the brightest crayon in the box, really. She is painfully average in her studies, though she does put in a lot of effort, and excels in the things that interest her specifically.]
no subject
Of course, we all have to start somewhere! I've just been dueling my whole life.
[ Besides, academic strength doesn't necessarily tie into dueling strength. Heck, Yuya was one of the best duelists she knows, and he wasn't exactly an honor student. ]
no subject
But, first thing's first! The two make their way to the more aristocratic side of Camelot, closer to the castle, and the guards give them both the stinkeye for half a second before they recognize the angora rabbit in the carrier, and hurriedly let them inside, instructing them to make haste, as Lord Fuzzlerton's owner has been utterly beside herself worrying about her precious, sweet, fuzzy-wuzzy. And while Ochako does pick up the pace a bit, she can't help but slow her roll to just...stare at all the massive, lavish homes and manors spanning as far as the eye can see. H-Holy shit...]
Th...Th-These might even rival Yaomomo's place... [And that's SAYING SOMETHING.]
no subject
I-I guess this is... Camelot... ahaha...
[ Well, considering the low reputation of her father's duel school, it wasn't like she was ever rolling in cash... so something like this is just has her mouth wide open. ]
no subject
Le-Let's ring the buzzer... [And no sooner than she says and does this, does a flustered and breathless sounding woman yelp into the voice box, practically gasping and asking if they've found her precious Fuzzlerton.] Ah, eh--...y-yes, we have him here. He's safe, and uninju--
["OH, THANK YOU SO MUCH!! PLEASE COME INSIDE THIS INSTANT, YOU DEAR GIRLS!"
And...welp. In they go. Fuzzlerton is delivered, reunited with Lady Fuzzlerton (who immediately headbutts her mate when she, uh...smells "others" on him), Ochako and Yuzu both are embraced in the arms of an utterly overjoyed middle-aged woman, who weeps with delight over having her precious bunny back, and promises to never let him out of her sight ever again. The two are promised to have monetary rewards delivered into their accounts within the next few days, but are urged to stay and have lunch...where they are then gifted some, uh...rather luxurious chocolates and other sweets to take home. Just 'something for the road' as the lavish aristocrat tells them. She also offers them some towels and bath salts (worth another tiny fortune), but Ochako politely declines. She just...can't feel comfortable accepting such expensive things...
Before they leave though, each girl is seen out, hugged again, and told how absolutely wonderful they are and how they truly saved her little bunny...and if they ever, ever need anything, to let her know right away and 'auntie will take care of it'.
Cute...]
