[Snagglefoot Miffen is the name of the thief that has snatched up some precious gems from a local jewelry shop in Camelot. And if there is one thing that Izuku can’t tolerate as a student studying to be a hero? It’s crime, of course! When he had seen the task, he had signed up right away. Being away from his homeworld and his school hasn’t taken anything away from Izuku’s determination to be a hero and to help out whenever he can.

But this thief is chalking it up to be quite the challenge. A slippery fellow that once Izuku gets a single lead is off before Izuku can reach the next one. He’s been tracking the man through the streets as fast as he can, but the thief seems to be one step ahead of him so far. The next lead means he’ll be heading to the Red Springs Inn next. That means Izuku has to get there before he does.]

Alright, I’m not letting him get ahead of me this time. Even if I’m here... I still have to be. Plus Ultra!

[There is a flicker of magic as Izuku places his hands on a nearby tree. A flash and a bang later and the tree transmutes and grows into a twisted-looking wooden ladder with footholds and all. Izuku is then climbing up the ladder onto the roof of the nearby building and is then running and leaping from roof to roof. Better for the bird’s eye view and to get to the Red Spring Inn faster! Occasionally, only stopping to transmute more branches and tall hanging trees into planks to use as a jumping point to the next roof or ledge!

[b: quest: farmers-r-us]

[Farming is still helping and Izuku is just glad that he can lend a hand. Alchemy magic also seems to be a good thing to have in this regard. He’s working with the local farmers with helping the new crops sprout. He’s slow at the work at first but he’s getting better at it bit by bit. And when he’s not helping with the crops himself he is also a healthy strong boy so moving supplies and hauling tools or crops is right up his alley too. The hard work feels nice!

What he doesn’t notice right away while he’s working is the small next of pixies that have seemed to have nested in a corner of the field he’s working in. One moment he is kneeling down to plant and work on some seedlings when his foot catches a part of the nest buried in the brush.]

Eh-??! [Whoosh!!

In an instant, the nest of pixies erupts like a swarm of bees flying around him in a pink and glittery haze! His hair flies up and sticks there as he blinks rapidly at the swarm whooshing all around him! He flails!]

Ah-!! Ack- AHHHHiiii!!

[How does he get the swarm of bees pixies to stop?! They’re starting to chant some sort of magic or charm and the air is starting to spark!]

[c: 🥦 broadsword shopping]

[Being in a fantasy world like this and without his usual quirk Izuku has realized he needs a way to keep up with combat and battle without being able to use his usual superpowers. Alchemy isn’t always a combat type of magic (or at least he hasn’t quite honed a way to use it in a combative way just yet) so he thinks with a weapon that it would be a good way to supplement his skills.

And who doesn’t want a big as heck sword to go with this entire fantasy world vibe?? Like right out of a JRPG!?

Izuku is browsing a local blacksmith and weapons store. Looking at a row of the broadswords that might fit his style and his grip. He’s never bought a sword before so he is a little out of his league right now but looking at the weapons is just … so freaking cool.]

Uaa... These swords are amazing! I can’t believe I’m really here and I can get one…!

[d: 🥦 alchemy studying]

[Izuku is still very new to alchemy but he is getting the hang of transmuting organic matter. Wood, plants and the like came to him easily enough. But with his classmates learning their own magic he does want to try and see if he can study enough to help them as well. With Katsuki and Tsuyu both using light magic, he has figured that the faster he learns how to change and manipulate glass, metal and precious stones? The better.

And that is where Izuku is right now. He’s sitting on a bench outside as he tinkers with a handful of copper pieces and a container full of sand. He’s currently trying to transmute the copper pieces into different shapes and later trying to change the sand into proper glass lenses.

Holding the piece of copper in his hand Izuku suddenly winces as his magic flashes and burns his skin. He drops the copper piece with a clatter! This is going to take some practice...]

If I can get copper and sand to work right... I can start making magnifying lenses...

[Izuku is starting to mutter to himself!]

[Oh- Looks like they are making an entire habitat for all of the pixies. Izuku is surprised and content with that and goes to help make the fencing and little pathways as well. He uses a few flashes of alchemy to bend and create actual wooden shapes out of the sticks and wood.]

I've read in stories before that a lot of fae or pixies and things like that are creatures that will hold grudges for a long time or act like tricksters... I guess we should be grateful these ones don't seem that angry now that we're helping to fix what we broke.

[And no curses for them should the rest of this go well!]

Hmm... How about more bedding? Or maybe a few more decorations...!

[And he's creating a few spots of flowers with alchemy once again. Hey, this is actually pretty great practice.]

[They might as well be the fairies personal construction crew at the rate they're going! It's a remodel, since with Midoriya's foot got involved in demolition work, this is obviously a fixer-upper.]

Sweets and us going above and beyond doesn't hurt, either.

[How could there be a grudge when they keep meticulously improving things for the fae? It's kind of fun to do, too... not that he'll be saying that.]

I think the outside is looking fine. When you're done, that should be it.

Alright, then just the finishing touches...

[A few more spirals of wood and sets of marbles and... Done! It looks pretty decent again. Actually probably a tiny bit better than it was looking before. Izuku seems humbly proud as he smiles and pats off his pants.]

There! I think that's good?

[The little crowd of pixie friends start to gather and whiz around checking each little thing. It makes Izuku just a tad nervous for curses but he takes that the buzzing and the lack of curses being thrown around as a good sign?]

Well- That's better than getting hit with a magic spell...!

[Something about this makes Gokudera feel a bit childish. He may go home and try braiding or weaving some sort of rug for the fairies. While they've done him dirty with that curse, he doesn't tend to hold grudges. Honestly, with as much as he prefers the fae over most people, he'll probably visit them again after today and make it into a habit.

He stands as well, feeling satisfied with the work he and Midoriya have done.]

Pretty much anything is.

[Gokudera pulls out his device so he can pin this location as one to come back to. Then, if he ever finds himself upset and needing to take a walk, he can swing by here, maybe work on the fairy footpath, and just talk to them... venting at the fae doesn't sound too problematic, even if it actually could be.]

[Since Izuku was the one to smash up the little nest in the first place Izuku is also wondering if he should come back and check on the new nest periodically too to make sure everything is okay. He really does feel terrible for smashing the nest. Maybe they'll run into each other now and then.

Izuku gives a small stretch and looks at the last set of farming chores he has to do for today too.]

I'm glad we did it. This farm seems busy so I hope this makes the nest more noticeable for the other farmhands too.

[Good to avoid more accidents.]

[It’ll be interesting when they inevitably encounter each other to work on maintaining the fairy house. Gokudera doesn’t tend to show this softer, more compassionate side often, and won’t have a reasonable excuse.]

It better, or someone else will have more than the fae angry with them.

[Maybe then Izuku will be able to learn a little more about Gokudera too. Maybe he is nice, after all.]

Haha... That's true. I don't want our hard work for them to go to waste. This was for them.

[Especially to the fae, even after the curse he went through. They're cute and magical and not normal, and he's interested in stuff like that.]

It was for them, but now I'm invested, and if anyone so much as kicks a rock at it, I'll make them regret each foot step.

[He'll probably throw a rock or something at them and start yelling. He's good at yelling. Thanks, Italian bloodline.]

[Izuku sweatdrops but there is something amusingly commendable about that attitude. It reminds him just a little bit of Katsuki.]

We'll make sure to keep an eye on it and if we need to do some nest saving we'll be the first ones on the scene?

[This pixie nest is now a protected part of the Vongola family's territory. Gokudera will defend it like his own home.]

Time to get going! Izuku goes back to picking up his farming tools and gives Gokudera a wave.]
