( I: Sir Fuzzlerton the Cad 🛡️ )

[ Akira's never seen so many bunny cafes in one place, not even in Tokyo. The search for Sir Fuzzleton, the fluffy Casanova continues and it doesn't look like it's going to conclude anytime soon. At least, Akira's not alone—looking for a very affectionate bunny is much more fun done in pairs.

He enters another bunny cafe with the person he's teamed up with and looks around, keeping his phone in his hand to peek at the screen with a picture of Sir Fuzzlerton to compare it with the bunnies hopping around the tables. ]

I wonder what kind of freebie we're gonna get this time. [ The previous cafe was really generous and gave out tumblers. ] Oh, here it is.

[ Someone from the staff walks up to them with two bunny hats before guiding them to a free table. ]

Maybe it'll help us find Sir Fuzzlerton.

[ He's not entirely serious but it would make things much easier. ]

( II: Magical smoothies )

[ Every now and then, Akira used to get a special smoothie sold only on Sundays on Shibuya station. The one's sold here look really good and he feels like trying some of them on a whim. What he doesn't realize is that there's a small text under each flavor.

Well, these smoothies definitely won't raise any social stats.

Drinking a Strawberry-Rose smoothie will make him very flirty. While it's not due to the drink, he might go wild with the puns. ]

I'm very smooth now. Do you know why?

[ Alternatively, someone might bump into him after getting a Butterfly Pea-Lemon Tea smoothie. If that's the case, Akira will be found sitting in a lotus position with his eyes closed. Is he meditating or sleeping? There's no telling without poking him. ]

Where's... [ A pause. ] The nut in donut?

[ He's either entered the path of enlightenment or is mumbling in his sleep. The latter sounds way more probably, though. ]

( III: Brewery )

[ Although Akira is still too young to drink, applying magic while preparing food or drinks is something he's been curious about for quite a while. If it turns out okay, he can always give it to someone who actually can drink so it doesn't go to waste. ]

Do you want to pair up? [ It's possible to make a drink following the recipe alone but the more the merrier. ] I wonder if this can be used for other drinks.

[ Yes, he has magical latte art in mind. ]

( IV: Familiar bonding )

[ Akira and Cat Sidhe started off on the wrong foot; his familiar is a proud one, so getting compared to a cat didn't help. Not to mention that Akira's spent over a year carrying a cat friend in his bag. Perhaps it's not too surprising that he projected some of the feelings on the familiar but it took him a while to realize.

To make up for it, he takes Cat Sidhe to a beauty spa in the Red Spring. If someone happens to be there as well, they might see a boy and a catlike familiar chilling together. ]

[ It's hard to tell with slices of cucumber on his eyes

[ This guy is on another level. Akira doesn't know what he expected but clearly not this. Well, in for a dime, in for a dollar like they say. ]

Then...here I go.

[ He actually grabs Venti's braids and pulls them lightly wondering if he's going to regret this or not. ]

it's his true face ;D

[In return Venti makes a little scrunched-up face. It doesn't hurt but he looks like he might be reacting to something...

Then with a tiny and tricky woosh of kinetic magic, Venti gently pushes at Akira's dark hair and hat, rustling and scooting it upwards as if a gust of wind rustled through. But then the rabbit ears on Akira's hat are the ones that are sticking straight upwards instead of Venti's.]

Ehe! I suppose that makes you the bunny!

[fooligans]

[ Not only it makes him the bunny—it makes some bunnies interested in what's going on in here as well. One of them is so curious that it hops right on their table and stands on its hind legs. ]

Looks like we're getting popular thanks to you. Maybe I should try that again?

[ That's...one way to lure Sir Fuzzlerton, that's for sure. ]

[concierto]

[Lure Sir Fuzzlerton out with a good time? That sounds good to him! Venti takes a moment to greet the little bunny who stands up to see them. It's a bit of an ethereal moment as Venti leans down to boop his nose against the bunny's nose.]

Hello there, little one! I think these hats might be more useful than I first thought!

[He turns to the boy again and even if he had only used a trick of kinetic magic if it works, it works!]

We can try again so long as you're gentle on my braids.

[fooligans]

Just be careful or he'll really fall for you.

[ How did that work in the first place? It is a mystery. But it looks like they can bring the bunny back to his owner and enjoy a free afternoon later. Or the other way around. ]

I'll be gentle, don't worry.

[ That being said, Akira reaches for Venti's braids again to pull them down as lightly as he can. ]

[concierto]

[Having a little bunny fall for him would be bad. Since Venti doesn't have a place he calls home yet where would he keep a tiny rabbit to care for it properly? Better not let it fall in love.

Venti giggles again when Akira goes ahead and tugs on his braids. There really is no magic in his hair (anymore?) despite the way it changes from black to green at the tips. It's all Venti playing with his new kinetic magic and making a game of it. There's another flourish of magic that he uses to ruffle up the bunnies fur this time and they seem to wiggle happily.

And then out of the corner of the place the rogue bunny might just peek its head in to see what the fuss is about!

... Is it actually working like this? Who knows.]

[fooligans]

Better get your best pick-up line ready. I can be your wingman.

[ How do you hit on bunnies in the first place? They're going to find out because the bunny moves closer...and tackles Akira's leg, most likely thinking that the unique bunny beauty needs protection. Truly a knight in shining fur. ]

Ouch...

[ Before he realizes it, Sir Fuzzlerton is already hopping in Venti's lap. The bunny damsel in distress needs help, clearly! ]

[concierto]

Ehe-?!

[That rogue bunny is naughtier than he first thought he'd be! Venti makes a small shocked noise as it jumps at Akira and then him! Bigger than expected fuzzy rabbit paws pushing up on Venti's chest which almost makes him fall over!]

Excuse me, if anything we were keeping your rabbit friend well entertained! [He scolds the bunny with a finger.] One shouldn't leave a friend unattended which you did. Now, are you ready to behave?

[Venti just scolding this rabbit boy.]

[fooligans]

[ The rabbit boy is just wrinkling his nose and watching Venti with its big eyes, probably hoping to charm him somehow. Once he recovers from that bunny attack, he turns his attention to Venti and Sir Fuzzlerton on his knees. ]

Don't fall for this, he has a ton of girlfriends.

[concierto]

[Venti still waggles his finger.]

As cute as you are that won't work on me.

[He gives Akira a short wink before he goes back to scolding the rabbit.]

We're going to take you back home and if you're sweet enough again maybe your girlfriends will come to visit you.

[He wouldn't dare keep anyone from love, after all. The rabbit continues to blink and who knows if it can actually understand Venti or not (he doesn't use animal magic!) but the rabbit does seem to settle down on his lap. And with that, Venti scoops him right up before he can get away again.]

Ehe! Maybe these little working jobs aren't so bad in the end.

You have your way with bunnies. His girlfriends might come for you instead.

[ That's a somewhat amusing mental image, honestly. At least now they have the bunny they've been looking for and can enjoy themselves for a bit before returning him to his owner. ]

So...what are you going to do with the reward? If that's not a secret.

[Venti giggles and shakes his head. He isn't so much of an actual animal whisperer. Maybe he's just good at being commanding when he needs to be? He won't say that out loud, though.]

With a cash reward like this I plan to buy the sweetest bottle of wine that I can find. And what about you?

[What do the youth buy around here...]

[ That's unexpected, to say the least. Here comes the inevitable: ]

You can drink wine? [ Venti looks like he's the same age if not younger. Looks can be deceiving, though... ] I guess I'll just keep saving...

[ He can't casually bring up that he's looking for a gun, can he. ]

[Venti giggles knowingly. It's almost like he's heard that question more than once in his (long) life. But he only answers that question with that knowing look without explanation.]

Ehe. Saving it? Why would you need to save your currency? Isn't it for spending?

[He've never felt the need to save mora up once in his entire life. And he spends it almost as quickly as he might have any of it...]

[fooligans]

[ The Venti Way of Life...bless him. ]

To buy something expensive, for example. I'm just a student.

[ And farming money in Mementos is impossible, unfortunately. ]

I can't even go out drinking with you. Unless it's orange juice.

[concierto]

Ah, I see! That's too bad.

[A young man! Goodness, he would hate to be underaged. Especially in a world like this one. Where the drinks literally push you back from them? How rude. Can't even steal or sneak them in.]

I hope you earn enough that you can purchase what you need.

Oh, thanks.

[ It's for the best that Venti doesn't ask questions, really. Actually, Akira enjoys the company of someone so carefree as him. ]

If I ever find a laidback quest, I can let you know.

[ Because that seems to be his niche. ]

But anyway, it is time to head off and Venti gives a smile and a small dramatic bow to bid his adieu.]
