[Open] There's a place where I can sit
đ§ WHO: Tsuyu Asui and YOU
âď¸ď¸ WHAT: Exploring Avalon, Training, and other Intro Things
đ WHEN: Early February
đşď¸ WHERE: All over!
â ď¸ WARNINGS: Maybe language?
Residential Inn
It was a little bit weird to be spending all this time indoors, but it was chilly out and even Quirkless Tsu was still of the mindset that it was better to be warm than not. She wandered around the place, heading down to the breakfast area early in the morning, eating and drinking what was on offer. Her familiar, the Kappa, was nowhere to be seen during all this, so she's mostly sitting alone unless someone would like to join her.
Other teenagers could possibly expect her to meander over and sit with them though, if they didn't object.
"Mind company?"
Around Camelot
Later in the day, Tsuyu bundled up in as warm an outfit as she could manage and meandered out into the city itself. She was entranced by the curious combination of nature and architecture, her wide eyes going wider as she followed a stream right up to the wall of a house. She paused briefly before skirting the edge, just to see if it continued onto the other side...
"...Wow, it really does? This place is extraordinary!" she says somewhat loudly. From down in the water, something burbles a reply, and up pops her familiar, chewing casually on a cucumber.
"Now there you are. I was wondering when you'd turn up!" Tsu says to the kappa, who clambers out and begins to shake himself to clear off some of the water. Which may or may not spray a passerby!
Training Grounds
Never one for idling about, Tsuyu did eventually make her way to the magical training grounds to start getting a handle on her abilities. She wasn't thrilled with the loss of her quirk, but she figured that she'd need to make do, even if she didn't like it.
So, she sought out a training partner, walking up to anyone else that looked a little new, or a little less than confident at least.
"...Want to get some practice in together?" she asks, smiling gently.
A Quest! (Possibly leading to A Tall Order?)
Also being a generally helpful person, Tsuyu thought to check out the QuestBoard app to see what kinds of tasks were available. Sitting atop her familiar's shell outside the inn, knees drawn up to her chest, she lounged there, pouring over the assortment of odd jobs. As she sat there, she couldn't help but break out in a little laugh.
"Now that sounds silly!" she says, presumably to her Kappa partner, but maybe that just looks like a green rock and you feel like chatting?
Wildcard
If you want to do something with Tsuyu that isn't an option here, please let me know! PM me or hit me on Plurk at
intercession! (Do please ask before adding me though!)

It's nice to meet you.
[She holds up her hand and some sparks dribble out from her fingertips.]
I have light magic, what about you, Chris-san?
no subject
I, uhm. I have elemental magic.
no subject
[It does also sound ideal for what she has in mind!]
no subject
I've only made a flame so far. I couldn't exactly control it very well at the time.
no subject
[Yes? Maybe?]
no subject
[She gestures to her quiver, resting on her back.]
no subject
[Tsu steps back with a little smile, wiggling her fingers.]
But I think we should start with more...none-arrow magic? If you think we can do that?
no subject
[She blinked, and then nodded.] I guess that makes sense... what should we do first, then? See what we can each conjure up?
no subject
[That's probably the safest thing.]
Once we've figured out our early limits, we can build from there. I imagine magic is a bit like martial arts. You have to build a foundational understanding and then you expand what you can do.
no subject
Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I've already found one limit; I need to be able to keep it from burning my hands somehow when conjuring fire.
no subject
Well, have you tried projecting it. Don't make it touching skin, but just...focus on pushing it out as you make it.
no subject
[Chris closes her eyes, and thinks... opening her palm, and then squeezing it. She remembers what it was like to summon her Armed Gear for the first time, and it taking shape according to her thoughts...
... Before she knows it, her hand is opening again, with a small flame hovering above her hand.]
... Huh!
no subject
[Tsu claps, pleased that it worked. It's just how she thought to do it, and...well, if someone else can do it, then why not her? She holds up her palm and mirrors the gesture, creating a ball of light.]
You control where it comes out, so you can keep it a safe distance away.
no subject
She waved her hand, putting it out. Then she looked towards the various targets that had been set up. "But I guess that's what those are for."
no subject
Tsu has been looking at those too, and she raises her hand.
"Maybe...I can mark a target and you try and hit it?"
no subject
"Sounds like a plan. Let's give it our best shot."
