Let’s make this day the best in the world | Valentine's Day Concert
🧙 WHO: Anyone and everyone
⚔️️ WHAT: Valentine's Day Concert
🕒 WHEN: February 14th
🗺️ WHERE: At the theater in Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: None that I can think of, will edit if needed.
Backstage
Backstage was a busy place during the whole concert. There were people getting ready, people helping people get ready and even just friends visiting them to wish them good luck (or to break a leg) or just help relieve some of the stage fright. Each artist or group had access to a room of their own if they needed some alone time. All they had to do was put up a sign that the room was in use.
On the stage
The theater stage was decorated with appropriate Valentine's Day decorations - roses, hearts and other simple, but meaningful things. The curtain would come down whenever someone needed time to prepare the stage to look different and there were several talented musicians helping out to bring live music to the stage.
As they say, they stage is for the performers to take as their own, one or several at a time.
In the audience
The audience has seatings for those who desire it, but there is also a space for anyone to stand and dance. There's plenty of space even if there is a section of the audience sectioned off for a... pool? Why was there a pool in the theater? Well, it certainly wasn't for just anyone to casually swim in but instead it was reserved for a special guest making an appearance at the concert.
The Lady of the Lake had been invited by Ren to watch the concert. To be fair, he had also invited King Arthur, Merlin and the Lady Morganna, but only the Lady of the Lake had accepted the invitation (although looking at Merlin's instagram afterwards may prove different, as he was there but just under a disguise).
Snacks and beverages are also being served at the theater lobby. Of course, since it was Valentine's Day, there was plenty of chocolate to go around.
After-party
While the after-party was mostly aimed at performers to celebrate a successful concert, no one was turned away from it. Anyone wanting to visit the party to congratulate on the success or to just chat with the performers was definitely welcome to.
The party was hosted at the theater too, since why not use the space you needed to clean up the next day anyway. Anyone was also welcome to join the clean up process the next day as well, but Ren certainly wouldn't force anyone to help out.

[Eccentric is one way to put it. As he records Kadoc’s number into his phone, he makes a face as if the question is a little silly. Isn’t the number 69 recognizable to people of other worlds at least?]
Of course, it stands for Rock! As in Rokku, Ro stands for 6 and ku is 9!
[ Sadly, this is not very well-known, but the people of his world is quite obsessed with this number. Crow is pretty innocent to the idea that this number has other connotations.]
Anyway, what do you like to eat? I can find a place to your tastes.

[Kadoc is not fluent in Japanese, but he knows enough to count to ten and recognizes the numbers—huh. Now he just has to wonder if this is a thing back in his world too, and if so, how many international social media misunderstandings have happened because of the two slang uses . . . aaaaanyway. Not exactly the most important part of this conversation! Though at least thinking about it distracts him from his confused embarrassment.]
Whatever. I'm not a big eater, so you can pick what you like. I don't think about food that much. It's been a little annoying having to keep on top of it now that I'm here.
no subject
However, with that in mind, Crow decides something small would probably be best. It doesn't make sense to bring Kadoc to a place that serves a whole smorgasbord. Such a shame!]
Do I need to check in on you to make sure you're eating properly?
[He doesn't know this guy well, but feels an odd sense of obligation to look after him.]
Anyway, we can just do coffee, then! I actually started to work as a barista, so I can make you a mean latte!
no subject
[A lot of people do that to him, for some mysterious reason that surely has nothing at all to do with the fact that every aspect of his personality and appearance screams that he needs a little brotherly guidance. It couldn't be that!]
Coffee's fine. I'm a fan. You have a barista job here? . . . This place feels a little crazier every day.
[It's Camelot. It is Camelot, right? What do they have, SirTorBucks?]
no subject
Though it's weird to be in their shoes now. He frowns at the comment, not wanting to seem overbearing at all. Yet, this guy should take better care of himself! Look at those bags under his eyes, Crow knows that's not eyeliner!]
Well, you're an adult. You can handle yourself, right? Make sure you're at least getting your calcium!
[Why calcium? Anyway, Crow is pleased to speak about his job, but what was the name again? It has a pretty ordinary-sounding name. So lame, Crow can't even bother to remember the name of where he works. He'll have to ask Kaji...again! Though the singer does know the location, he quickly sends it over to Kadoc's phone.]
Yeah. It's pretty modern, right? I guess it's the influence of the internet or not being affected by time, maybe a bit of both! Though, it helps with adjusting. I couldn't survive long in a world without electricity.
[ Of course, Crow is accustomed to modern luxuries!]
no subject
[That world without music other than one piano didn't have modern luxuries like electricity either. It had been the least of Kadoc's concerns at the time, and he's well equipped to living without amenities, even outdoors if need be . . . and yet he still winces now thinking about those months. He doesn't have to like being deprived!]
Anyway. I'll stop by so we can make the exchange, and you can show off your magical modern Camelot barista skills. . . . I'm looking forward to it, even though that was pretty rude. Don't mind me. I'm still working on getting over this whole situation.
no subject
[Oh was he being sarcastic? Too bad Crow's too vain to notice it right away. Plus, he's been insulted way worse, and he tends to react to those blatant comments more directly.]
It's not the first time I've heard such blasphemous words from a nonbeliever! Though my barista skills will be extraordinary! It's gonna knock your socks off!
[If anything the singer is confident even though he did raise an eyebrow at a coffee shop in Camelot himself. He tilts his head as Kadoc mentions he's still adjusting. Crow doesn't know what kind of the world this serious guy left behind, but there are worse outcomes than this!]
I get it, it's a lot to accept. Sometimes, my mind is still blown that I'm even here, but you gotta just roll with it. It won't help you to dwell on things you can't change. Just focus on what you can do now and throw yourself into a whole bunch of distractions!
[Sound advice from someone enduring their own sense of denial.]
