Backstage

Backstage was a busy place during the whole concert. There were people getting ready, people helping people get ready and even just friends visiting them to wish them good luck (or to break a leg) or just help relieve some of the stage fright. Each artist or group had access to a room of their own if they needed some alone time. All they had to do was put up a sign that the room was in use.

On the stage

The theater stage was decorated with appropriate Valentine's Day decorations - roses, hearts and other simple, but meaningful things. The curtain would come down whenever someone needed time to prepare the stage to look different and there were several talented musicians helping out to bring live music to the stage.

As they say, they stage is for the performers to take as their own, one or several at a time.

In the audience

The audience has seatings for those who desire it, but there is also a space for anyone to stand and dance. There's plenty of space even if there is a section of the audience sectioned off for a... pool? Why was there a pool in the theater? Well, it certainly wasn't for just anyone to casually swim in but instead it was reserved for a special guest making an appearance at the concert.

The Lady of the Lake had been invited by Ren to watch the concert. To be fair, he had also invited King Arthur, Merlin and the Lady Morganna, but only the Lady of the Lake had accepted the invitation (although looking at Merlin's instagram afterwards may prove different, as he was there but just under a disguise).

Snacks and beverages are also being served at the theater lobby. Of course, since it was Valentine's Day, there was plenty of chocolate to go around.


After-party

While the after-party was mostly aimed at performers to celebrate a successful concert, no one was turned away from it. Anyone wanting to visit the party to congratulate on the success or to just chat with the performers was definitely welcome to.

The party was hosted at the theater too, since why not use the space you needed to clean up the next day anyway. Anyone was also welcome to join the clean up process the next day as well, but Ren certainly wouldn't force anyone to help out.

[She notices the way Crow stares at her horns.]

No, they are real! I'm actually a hedgehog myumon, and we look like this when we get really excited!

[Meaning Crow is excited 24/7!

He eyes those triangular horns. Even with permission, he's a little apprehensive of touching them. Though he gives into temptation, using his two pointer fingers to press at the peaks. It's an old sensation, smooth in texture and yet slightly sharp.]

That's so cool! Do they have a certain function? Does it come out of your skull? Do they get caught on stuff?

[Of course, Crow asks all of the dumb questions, but he's interested!]

I don't think they have any other function besides looks.

[Since, according to Lucy, the source of a Diclonius' powers is the pineal gland, not the horns.]

I'm pretty sure they do come out of my skull, and no, I've never had trouble with them getting caught on things. Although, in the world I was taken to before this one, everyone who got pulled in obtained animal features during certain moon cycles. I got deer features, so my horns would grow into antlers and then I'd have them get caught on things. I even had spots across my face and a deer's tail to match.

It's cool!

That sounds really endearing! The antlers, spots, and deer tail, I mean. In my world, the myumon who take on human form tend to have features like that too. Actually, our rival band, Arcareafact, all the members have horns.

[ Though myumon who possess horns aren't really uncommon. Though Crow has never seen such triangular shape horns before.]

You must've come from the same world a lot of other people here have been, right? Something about getting paid for physical contact?

Yes, that's right! We were all on a completely different planet, but the name of the city most of us were living in was called Lunatia. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that you've met other people from there. I have noticed there's quite a lot of us here. Why? I'm not sure, but I'm not about to complain.

[Noiz and Soundwave ended up here too, after all.]

It is a little weird, and too big of a coincidence to ignore.

[He's meet a good handful of people from the same world and even heard mentions of this place on the network numerous times. So there must be a bunch of transplants.]

Does that mean you were able to come here with friends?

[He's a little envious, if it's true.]

Right again! Two close friends of mine are here too. One arrived about a month before I did, and the other arrived a couple of days after I did.

[But then she lets out a small sigh.]

Even so... I was hoping to wrap some things up back in my world so I could live permanently in Lunatia [or have herself and Lucy follow Noiz to his world once he made his decision]. At least time's frozen in every world but this one? I guess that's a good thing for now? Because that means bad things are frozen in time, too.

Oh, You had an option to stay there? Not many people mentioned that!

[It sucks if people were planning to make a life there, and now they were brought here, to either start again or pick up the pieces from here.

As for the bad things...?]

That's one way to look at it. Except the bad things aren't frozen here, and now we have to deal with it! It's fine! It'll be boring if everything was calm.

I'll be handling the bad things here as best I can, but personally, I'm relieved that time is frozen in my world. For now, I don't have to worry about my friends being in trouble while I'm not there to help them, so I can focus on my efforts here.

[The smile soon returns to her face as she looks at the two birds finishing up the last of the seeds in her hand, then back at Crow.]

By the way Crow-san, I was wondering... [She furrows her brows in confusion.] Why did you call the audience "cattle?"

Yeah, that's a relief, right? I don't have to worry about my set of nimrods getting into trouble while I'm gone either.

[Though this girl very sweet to be concerned for her friends. At the question, Crow doesn't seem surprised, since people always ask him this. I mean, it's a bit offensive, so he understands why.]

Oh, that's my pet name for the audience. I'm alluding to how they're all sheep whose minds have yet to be open, and with my music, I'll give them a crimson revelation! My music is about breaking from the status quo, and following your passion! So that's why I call them cattle because just like livestock groomed for slaughter, people are conditioned to be spiritless members of society.

When you say it like that, I guess it makes sense.

I would say maybe try calling them something a little nicer? But since you've already said it, it would probably only confuse the audience more and clash with how you present yourself on stage.

[Said with a giggle. Plus Nyuu knows it's his act in the end, so Crow should feel free to do as he wishes.]

Do you have any other planned performances? I would definitely come to another one of your shows! Of course, I wouldn't mind us hanging out offstage either.

[Will he ever take the advice? Probably not! He truly believes in that phrase! You either love it or hate it! Maybe hate it at first, but end up loving it!]

Consistency is key, and if they truly want to hear the message in my songs, they will get over it.

[Their crimson third eye won't open if they dwell on stuff like being called cattle. People need to grow a tough skin if they want to hear the truth. Nyuu's right. As an artist, he has the creative privilege to do what he wants. However, he clearly won't be mainstream.]
