Backstage

Backstage was a busy place during the whole concert. There were people getting ready, people helping people get ready and even just friends visiting them to wish them good luck (or to break a leg) or just help relieve some of the stage fright. Each artist or group had access to a room of their own if they needed some alone time. All they had to do was put up a sign that the room was in use.

On the stage

The theater stage was decorated with appropriate Valentine's Day decorations - roses, hearts and other simple, but meaningful things. The curtain would come down whenever someone needed time to prepare the stage to look different and there were several talented musicians helping out to bring live music to the stage.

As they say, they stage is for the performers to take as their own, one or several at a time.

In the audience

The audience has seatings for those who desire it, but there is also a space for anyone to stand and dance. There's plenty of space even if there is a section of the audience sectioned off for a... pool? Why was there a pool in the theater? Well, it certainly wasn't for just anyone to casually swim in but instead it was reserved for a special guest making an appearance at the concert.

The Lady of the Lake had been invited by Ren to watch the concert. To be fair, he had also invited King Arthur, Merlin and the Lady Morganna, but only the Lady of the Lake had accepted the invitation (although looking at Merlin's instagram afterwards may prove different, as he was there but just under a disguise).

Snacks and beverages are also being served at the theater lobby. Of course, since it was Valentine's Day, there was plenty of chocolate to go around.

After-party

While the after-party was mostly aimed at performers to celebrate a successful concert, no one was turned away from it. Anyone wanting to visit the party to congratulate on the success or to just chat with the performers was definitely welcome to.

The party was hosted at the theater too, since why not use the space you needed to clean up the next day anyway. Anyone was also welcome to join the clean up process the next day as well, but Ren certainly wouldn't force anyone to help out.

You're good friends with these other girls too, right? And you're used to practicing with them all the time. Are you doing alright on your own? The rest of the time, I mean.

[ Ah, the idiot has turned on his concerned puppy dog stare. ]

I guess I'd say... I'm managing, I guess?

[ She shrugs a little. ]

Don't get me wrong, it's tough! Usually we have like, instructors and our managers and everything else even if we're working on a solo thing, so doing it all by myself has been really weird. But I guess it's like... since I'm the only one of us here, I feel like I've gotta go for it twice as hard as usually to make sure I represent us properly! You know?

Yeah! You're doing great.

[ He feels the same way about the friends he's left behind. Yes, he misses them like hell but he knows that they wouldn't forgive him if he didn't keep on being himself. So he's just putting it all out there for Avalon. And being himself is being someone who cares for and supports others. ]

I'm no performer, but if you ever need any help, I've got you!

[ Actually. Wait. He's forgotten a step! ]

[ He gives a warm, friendly laugh and does a little bow of greeting. ]

What if I wanted to karaoke one of your songs though?

Ooh, if you wanted to karaoke, you'd have to...

[ Then she pauses for a moment as she thinks that over. And then clutches her head like she's trying to cope with some hardcore psychic damage. ]

Oh man, none of it would be on any of the karaoke machines here! It's all just on my phone from home!

Oh man.

[ Her concern is his concern! He hovers around her with has hand extended but not touching, unsure what to do. ]

Maybe we can re-record them?

[ It's not really about the karaoke so much as making sure she had her own music, right?! ]

Ugh but that'd take forever... maybe I can just upload a bunch of them somewhere? They wouldn't be on a real karaoke machine but you'd still be able to sing them!

[ Gotta extend her brand while she's here on her own after all. ]

[ He takes the Avalon smartphone out of his back pocket, pointing to it, ]

Oh, that thing sure is. But this one– [ Stella digs into her pocket and pulls out a phone that can most kindly be described as extremely, unmistakably Stella's phone. It has so many charms hanging off it that it almost definitely qualifies as some sort of weapon. ] – sure isn't! And it's the one that's got all our stuff on it. So if I wanna send anything to anybody, I've gotta transfer the files over and it's SUCH a pain.

[ Her life is so hard, Ichi. Pity her. ]

I think... [ He points at her forehead. ] You can take stuff straight from there. And put it there.

[ Down to the phone. ]

I was hanging out with a girl who couldn't speak? And I was able to send all kinds of stuff I was thinking about into the phone. So I could show her maps and stuff?

[ Things she could interact with by pointing or gesturing. ]

So you could probably make your dream music video in your head and just... poof!

[ Although you do have to opt-in to the MagiCast service for it to work. Did Ichi just get lucky and turn it on without reading what it was??? ]

[ He nods enthusiastically. ]

[ He trails off because he's concentrating, but then the phone starts to sing with his voice. Welcome to his favorite karaoke track! ]

[ Stella's got a look on her face like she just got hit by a 2x4 of psychic damage. The way she clutches her head in her hands really sells the image. ]

Are you seriously telling me it was this easy all along?!

[ He should be more sympathetic to her plight, but he's actually grinning stupidly. Is he actually entirely oblivious? ]

Magic is pretty amazing, right?

Yeah... but it needs to come with some kinda tutorial! I never would've figured that out if you hadn't told me!

Heck yeah! I'm gonna stay up all night to work this thing out and get all my songs on it! I'm not getting outsmarted by a dumb phone!
