A quest gone wrong (but at least you're rich)
🧙 WHO: Sokka & You
⚔️️ WHAT: February Catch-All
🕒 WHEN: February
🗺️ WHERE: Bridge and Camelot
⚠️ WARNINGS: NPC death and post-quest angst
A: A Quest for the Pure of Heart: aftermath
(cw: NPC death)
[Of course Sokka would have gone for a quest that promised him so much money. Even if the task was very suspicious, it couldn't have been anything too dangerous, right?
Right?
Sokka is on his knees near the bridge after getting himself out of there challenge, cursing himself for being so stupid and falling for something like this. There was no one around to help him at the time so he couldn't even save the old man. He had waited and no one had arrived after Morgannas visit to pick up his crystal.
He contemplates on messaging someone to come meet him halfway, but instead he decides against it and starts walking. He feels awful, but he doesn't want to stay near the place any longer than he has to. So there's a very gloomy young man walking. Almost like he lost a part of himself back there.]
B: Training
[Once he's back in Camelot, Sokka heads for the training grounds to take out his frustration on the quest (and himself) on some training dummies. While he could just use a sword or any of his other weapons, but there was only one appropriate way for him to vent.
Fire was burning bright. With every kick or punch he made towards the dummies new flames ignited. Even sometimes when he didn't intend to make flames, they appeared. The fire was strong with him whenever he was angry, he had noticed.
Maybe it wasn't the healthiest way of coping, but he'd rather be angry than crying, really. And no one should have complaints because he's training his magic.]
C: Emotional Eating
[Though he does have to deal with the situation with another way. With a lot of ice cream, since he heard somewhere it's a good emotional food. Which he is definitely eating back at the inn common rooms. He'd do it in his room, but there's no freezer there so he'd have to walk back to fetch more or let them melt while he ate.
He'd already eaten two liters of ice cream so far and going through his third rather fast.
And yes, he's suffered at least two brain freezes already.]
D: Wildcard
Hit me up in PM's or
sasageyo to plot something else.

Even so, I'd never really seen elemental magic being used that way before. I have it to.

Well, it's the most I can do. I still have a lot of control issues and anger brings my fire more easily.
