A. The Libryrinth (Closed to Harry)

[All things considered, Ken wasn't sure how well this quest will turn out for the both of them. However, after how well the last quest turned out, this one shouldn't be too difficult. It wasn't all that different from the last one they did. The only thing they needed to do was to look around for some symbols and report back, right?

With a sigh, Ken was hiding under a table in a library. As he looked at Harry and his familiar, Jack Frost, he wondered how much longer he had hide in the shadows.]

You doing okay, Harry-san? You don't see the librarian nearby, do you?

B. A Tall Order

[How did Ken end up in this mess? He didn't know but that didn't stop him from looking at the 3 foot elf before crossing his arms. This quest was simple enough but at the same time? It seemed a little too simple as he wondered if there was something he didn't quite understand.

As he looked back at the chair, he mumbled to himself.]

You know, you guys are making a big deal out of nothing. Why do you feel the need to prove yourself to the South Beach Elves?

[He said before said 3 foot elves started bickering at him.]

C. Hugs all around!

[Was it just Ken's imagination or did everyone seem to be a much happier mood lately? He wasn't sure but Ken was no different. As he was out and around with his dog, Koromaru, he decided to do a couple of things to keep this positive mood up. Ever since he got shot with a Cupid's arrow, he was feeling absolutely optimistic and feeling the need to make everyone around him just as equally happy.

Should you see him around, he might either try to tempt you with free food that he made (spoilers: It's fried rice that is just decent at best), going out for a run (and he might bump into you!), or see him randomly talking to Koromaru about why dogs are better than cats.

[The hug had surprised him, the rice more so. It's certainly not the best fried rice Aziraphale has ever had, but then he's had a great deal of options over the years, so it would be difficult to compete. Still, he appreciates the offer and swallows the sample like a good sport.]

You made this yourself, you said? I think it's a very good start. You ought to be tremendously proud.

[You see the look on Ken's face? The fact that there was someone out there telling him he wasn't a bad cook? He was just glowing with a huge smile!]

You really think so? Because I tried my best and especially now that I'm living with a lot of other people. I want to make sure I'm doing the best I can for them!

[Why yes, he was just having the time of his life right now!]

[An angel is all about encouraging good deeds and it's very good to want to feed your friends and to expand your skill set.] I do! I think it's a good hearty little meal and should feed your roommates well.

But food is also an evolution one perfects over time, so perhaps tomorrow you may be inspired to add something else to this, or change the ratios, and you should never be afraid to experiment. Each time, as long as you put your heart into it, that's what matters. That's what doing your best is about.

[In return, Ken looked back at the fried rice and then back at him. He didn't want to look disappointed as he tried his hardest on the cooking. And yet, with a small hum, he couldn't help but ask.]

It sounds like you really know what you're talking about. What do you think I should add because I do want to make it really good for people here!

[Between the amount of egg, peas, corn, rice, and whatever else he could throw in there? It sure seemed pretty average.]

Oh, I don't know. Perhaps bell pepper. Garlic, I think goes into it. Oyster sauce sometimes is used, I believe, though I'm not sure how available that is here, and sesame oil. I'm impressed you found soy sauce. I've seen some with peanuts or cashews in them, for a bit more of a Thai or Indian flair, but I'm not sure if that's popular outside the UK.

And of course for a more hearty meal, you can try adding meat and seafood. This would pair well with some chicken or shrimp.

[Ken just stared at him for a moment. Once again, he was trying to process everything he said and made a mental note to get everything on the list. However, he just had to ask this of him.]

Aziraphale-san, just how familiar are you with Asian cuisine? That is a lot more than I would expect. I never thought to even put peanuts or cashews in rice!

How would that even taste with chicken or seafood anyway?
