A. The Libryrinth (Closed to Harry)

[All things considered, Ken wasn't sure how well this quest will turn out for the both of them. However, after how well the last quest turned out, this one shouldn't be too difficult. It wasn't all that different from the last one they did. The only thing they needed to do was to look around for some symbols and report back, right?

With a sigh, Ken was hiding under a table in a library. As he looked at Harry and his familiar, Jack Frost, he wondered how much longer he had hide in the shadows.]

You doing okay, Harry-san? You don't see the librarian nearby, do you?

B. A Tall Order

[How did Ken end up in this mess? He didn't know but that didn't stop him from looking at the 3 foot elf before crossing his arms. This quest was simple enough but at the same time? It seemed a little too simple as he wondered if there was something he didn't quite understand.

As he looked back at the chair, he mumbled to himself.]

You know, you guys are making a big deal out of nothing. Why do you feel the need to prove yourself to the South Beach Elves?

[He said before said 3 foot elves started bickering at him.]

C. Hugs all around!

[Was it just Ken's imagination or did everyone seem to be a much happier mood lately? He wasn't sure but Ken was no different. As he was out and around with his dog, Koromaru, he decided to do a couple of things to keep this positive mood up. Ever since he got shot with a Cupid's arrow, he was feeling absolutely optimistic and feeling the need to make everyone around him just as equally happy.

Should you see him around, he might either try to tempt you with free food that he made (spoilers: It's fried rice that is just decent at best), going out for a run (and he might bump into you!), or see him randomly talking to Koromaru about why dogs are better than cats.

[Here Ken was trying to run a couple of his errands! All he wanted to do was go out for a run when he felt an arrow shot right at him! For a brief moment, there was a slight panic as he looked around to see if he got injured. As Koromaru continued to bark at his owner in an attempt to calm him down, he happened to see a familiar face.

Suddenly, that's when all his worries seemed to disappear. There was a huge smile when Gokudera approached him. He didn't know why he was feeling so happy but he didn't care.

Right now, he was just so glad to see his friend around!]

N-No, that's okay! What about you? Are you okay? [He said before looking at him. He didn't know why but right now, he just wanted his friend to be just as equally happy as he was!]/small>

[Gokudera puts the arrow back in its quiver, then stays on one knee, looking the boy over to make sure he didn’t actually hurt him. He can’t see where it struck him, and he seems confused about the dog. Since when did Ken have a dog??]

Wha- do I look like I’m not?

[He is indeed not okay, but he’s not unwell... just has some old bruises and some troubled feelings in regards to friendship. Nothing he would hope is visible.]

No, not really?

[If he did, Ken didn't seem to notice. Instead, he was also equally focused on seeing if there were any injures on his friend. So far, nothing seemed too bad.]

But I figured if you're shooting an arrow, you could have gotten hurt. I was worried if something happened to you.

[He said before attempting to give his hand out. He didn't know if he was hurt or not but if he was? He better let him know it was okay to ask for help if he needed it!]

No! Nothing happened! Did the arrow hurt you?

[If he were in some kind of trouble, he wouldn’t use an enchanted arrow against a foe. It’d have to be an actual arrow... enchanted dangerous and he would not shoot it in the middle of Camelot.]

[In response, Ken shook his head. If anything, he was the opposite of being hurt, he was absolutely in great mood right now!]

No, not at all! I think I should thank you because I'm really happy after you did!

[He said with a chuckle.] I wonder what made the arrow do that to make feel this way.

Oh... Well that's good, then.

[Gokudera says and straightens up.]

They're enchanted. Everyone I've shot so far seems to be in a good mood because of them.

Is that so?

[He said as he was leaning a little closer to Gokudera. Hope he doesn't mind putting his arms around his shoulder.]

Then shouldn't you be in a good mood too?

[bakudan_bambino]

I-

[Gokudera looks a bit confused with the arms around his shoulder.]

I didn’t shoot myself with an arrow so I’m not. [He’s not in a bad mood, but he is troubled and now a bit baffled by the contact.]

[whatsamada]

[The discomfort did make Ken raise an eyebrow. While he was feeling a little more affectionate than usual, the last thing he wanted was to make him uncomfortable.]

Hm? Is something wrong? [He asked wondering if everything was okay.]

[bakudan_bambino]

[Gokudera just didn't think Ken liked him enough to touch him. The only person bold enough regularly is his fellow Guarian. Not even the Tenth tries to hug him!]

No! I'm not in a bad mood! I'm just surprised.

[And on a more personal level, full of self-doubt in regards to whether or not he's a good friend. That's completely unrelated to this current situation, though.]

About what?

[Meanwhile, Ken wasn't letting go anytime soon! As his arm was still hanging over Gokudera's shoulder, he gave a slight shrug. TO him, this seemed like a normal thing to do between people.]

You’ve never gotten this close to me, before. I thought I irritated you... [Gokudera admits gently and doesn’t seem to be trying to get Ken off of him.]

[whatsamada]

[Now that made the boy let go of him and gave him a surprised look.]

No, what makes you say that? You don’t need to worry, it takes a lot to make me mad.

[Especially after all he went through, he plans to never let his anger and aggression get the better of him again.]

Well, I bet it was awkward to be around me when I was cursed. [He admits sheepishly.]

[whatsamada]

[In return, Ken just titled his head.]

No, not really? Believe it or not, I've dealt with worse before. Back home, my teammates could be affected with various ailments that make them do silly things.

[Speaking of which?] Would you like another hug if it's making you feel sad?

At least I'm better now. I just felt like a burden for a while.

[Gokudera says and blushes in embarrassment over how he'd heard he'd been acting. He nods at the offer for another hug, just stays on one knee, looking up maybe more pitifully than he means to.]

[He didn't need to be told twice as Ken wasted no time in wrapping both of his arms around the older teen. He didn't know what caused him to feel like it was a burden but one thing was for sure!]

But you're not to me so everything should be okay. If there was something bothering me, I would let you know!

[He said with a bright smile! C'mon, cheer up!]

[Gokudera lets out a small 'oof!' at the new hug, but smiles this time and hugs back.]

Thank you, Ken.

[There, he's cheering up a little. Nevermind that he's a bit of downer by default.]

[As long as Gokudera was happy, that’s all he cared about! Now with that said, given how optimistic he was being? He looked down at Koromaru before giving a thumbs up to him.

His owner sure was being a little strange lately...

As he gave a bark to the both of them, Ken chuckled.]

You know, Koromaru had a great idea! How about I treat you to some food? I’m sure it’ll cheer you up.

Koromaru? Your dog... [Gokudera looks down at the creature and gives it a gentle smile. He would appreciate some food, but hopes it's something fairly light. He's not got a big appetite.]

I don't think we've met!

[whatsamada]

[As Koromaru wagged his tail, he gave a bark before bumping his head against the older teen.]

I think he wants you to pet him.

[Ken said before gesturing his hand out to the dog. Go on, you want to pet him.]

[Gokudera is delighted by the friendly dog. He's grown a bit warmer to them after his curse lifted, and also living with an akita hasn't hurt his perspective.]

Good boy!

[He moves to pet him, eager to do so now that he's been all but invited to.]

[Koromaru wasn't going to argue! In fact, he was leaning against his pats before giving a small whine.]

You know, I think he really likes it! You're really good with dogs, did you know that?

[Because Gokudera needs more encouragement after his comments a while back!] Or maybe, you can even hug him if you want.

[bakudan_bambino]

[The whine seems to break Gokudera's heart a bit and he crouches lower.]

It's okay... I'll pet you as much as you want.

[And he does, even scratching along Koromaru's side and then up to his little ears and Gokudera looks up at Ken with a soft blush.]

I-I like most animals! [And he's especially fond of cats, but hasn't met any in this world. He'd coo over any animal, even big scaley angry ones.]

This guy is just so cute who wouldn't be really good with him? He's such a good boy! Only a big stupid person would be bad to you, right Koromaru-chan? [Oh he might be putting on a bit of a babying voice now.]

[Koromaru wasn't complaining, he was barking happily as he on wagging his tail! As he allowed himself to be petted, he looked back at his owner.]

Are all your friends this friendly? [He asked before looking back at Gokudera] Maybe we should let him come with us on our walk!

[In return, Ken just chuckled.] You up for hanging around with us, Gokudera? I was out walking him and the both of us wanted you to come along!
