❄️Welcome to Tsumugi’s surprise birthday party!❄️

Kazunari has pulled out all the stops to deck out Kaika theater for the party. Using his new pumped up light magic, and in homage to Tsumugi’s first role with Mankai, Kazunari has thrown illusions of clouds all around the main stage and audience seating. They coat the floor and stage as if you’re actually walking on them and they also float dreamily through the air. On the ceiling, stars twinkle brightly. And in addition to all that, on stage, the heaven set of Sympathy for an Angel has been faithfully recreated.

And if there’s mistletoe snagged from the end of Louis’ holiday party hanging very obviously in one of the archways? Don’t worry about it.


❄️Refreshments❄️

While there is the traditional birthday cake, there is also an array of egg tarts to snack on. Everything is decorated with stars and feathers accordingly. There is an assortment of drinks but adults can ask Kazunari for the spicy stuff.


❄️Games? Charades!❄️

This wouldn’t be a party for Tsumugi “theater junkie” Tsukioka if there wasn’t some form of acting game.

There is a great, big stack of notecards filled with people, plays, actions and all sorts of prompts ready to be acted out as you see fit - for everyone else’s amusement! Maybe grab a partner and try to make a skit out of two completely random prompts!

❄️Letters to Michael❄️

A major theme of Sympathy for an Angel is letter writing, so Kazunari wanted to incorporate it somehow.

Letters to Michael will work kind of like a guestbook. Write a letter to Tsumugi or even just write out your thoughts or your current worries - just how you’re feeling at the moment. Write your letter, seal it in an envelope and drop it in the provided box! This is just for fun and completely optional.


❄️Host Kazunari❄️

As the host of this party, Kazunari will be flitting around making sure everyone is well-fed and having fun. But seriously, go bug Tsumugi not Kazunari: it’s his day after all!!

[Photography is an advancement that some of the native locals to Camelot don't know a whole lot about, even though it's become rather commonplace and provided as a luxury for those who might have come from a world with similar things. Watching Tsumu fiddle around with his own leaves her smiling.

Of course she's happy to take a picture with him.

Without a moment's hesitance, she nestles in right close to him. She doesn't even need to be wearing a cheesy smile because Aerith is almost always smiling to begin with.]

Get me from my good side, okay?

[ It may be a joke, but he takes it sincerely. ] Of course.

[ But before he gets to deep into the all important search for that perfect selfie angle, he remembers something. ]

Oh! Should I try using a filter? [ It takes him a moment - and he even exits out of the camera app entirely on accidently - but he manages to navigate to his downloaded selection of camera filters. (he'd really been so impressed when kazunari first showed him them... they're so cute...!!!!!)

Of course, he immediately clicks on one of his many flower-themed ones. ] What do you think?

[If he's playing along, that's one of the cutest things someone has done for her since her arrival. She doesn't have much time to think about that because the thought of 'filters' is something new to her. It doesn't take him very long to show her what he means.

On the contrary, Aerith is delighted at this discovery.]

Oh! I didn't know these kinds of things existed. Look how cute these are! Make sure you show me how to get these too, okay?

I'd be happy to. [ He doesn't usually get to be the tech expert, so he's excited! (though calling him an "expert" would be generous...)

Anyway. Flowers pop up on screen around them as he takes a couple selfies, taking his time to make sure his arm is steady and neither of them are cropped out in the process. He'll be sure to check later to be absolutely sure at least one of them is decent, but for now he'll begin his explanation of filters. ]

[This is the coolest thing ever. Aerith immediately makes a note to play around with filters herself and then to grab Tifa and force her into a whole field day of selfies. But all of that enthusiasm will have to wait and as a result, Aerith begrudgingly must clamp down on it.

She watches his demonstration carefully, trying to commit it to memory. It doesn't look too difficult to navigate to. In fact, on a boring day that she wasn't going anywhere, it's possible she eventually would have found it for herself. ...How is it that she's never found it before? Someone, and we aren't going to say who, clearly hasn't spent enough time on her phone.]

I really like the flowers... [She begins, because that would surprise absolutely no one who knows her.] ...These sparkling ones look really pretty. Also look— Are those bunnies? Those are so cute.
