🧙 WHO: Taichi Nanao, Hikaru Hitachiin (A closed prompt), and A Flash Mob (OTA)
⚔️️ WHAT: Hikaru told Taichi that he thought it was more likely a planet made him gay than that he caught feels for him and that he needed time to sort it out. like a month ago. Taichi's been as patient as he's physically capable of being and has gathered a number of friends together to flash mob Hikaru and ask him out for a date. Anyone who helped out with the flash mob is invited to a cafe afterward to have dinner together as a thank you! Flash mob is very much in a public area and includes Ren, Tamaki, Takao, Miwako, Crow, and.. anyone else who wants to say they joined in! Taichi is very open so would welcome anyone who wants to help and can dance. (Those are just the people who expressed interest, anyone is welcome to join in the after party and assume they were involved if you want!)
🕒 WHEN: Midday, January 17thish, after going shopping with Hikaru for new clothes.
🗺️ WHERE: Somewhere mid-Camelot City
⚠️ WARNINGS: Juicy Pants.

[ They've been walking for some time, and Taichi is carrying their shopping bags around, having taken Hikaru's at some point because Hikaru often times just hands him things. He's slowly starting to realize that it's a pattern-- but that's a tale for another day. They've been out shopping for clothing and despite that it's the end of their trip, Taichi is buzzing with energy. An energy that's reflected as the loudspeaker in whatever shopping area they're in starts playing a a song from the early 2000's, Kylie Minogues "Can't Get You Outta my Head."

Starting with just one person dancing, people start to clear out of the area as more and more people join in on the dance. As requested, everyone is dressed in whatever they believe fits the "2002" theme. At a certain point in the song once everyone else is in, Taichi turns to Hikaru and hands him the shopping bags. ]

Hold this for a second!

[ And then Taichi tears off the clothing his was wearing, which was apparently secured as a rip-off outfit the entire time. Beneath it, he has on a skinny scarf, a pleather quarter-sleeve jacket, and the pride of 2002 fashion's sweatpants with "Juicy" plastered over his ass. Taichi joins in the dance to finish off the flashmob dance, then the whole thing ends with a big finale of Taichi getting down on both knees (careful not to do just one so it isn't confusing) and holds out a pansy to Hikaru. ]

Please be my boyfriend!

[ The dance mob disperses at that point at least, to give them time to talk after innocent bystanders clap and watch, since they need to converse about this of course! ]

LATER, AT THE CAFE (OPEN TO ALL)
[ Everyone who was involve in the flash mob is invited to a cheapy little diner cafe. Taichi... genuinely can't afford much, this basically used all of his money that he'd earned since arriving here and he's going to be eating inn complementary food for the rest of the month for sure. But he's offered to buy everyone at least 1 drink if they participated in the flash mob for him! And exactly two pizzas!

(Look, he can't afford more than two pizzas.. he will at least not be partaking so there's more for everyone else.)

Please enjoy a little gathering to meet and greet, laugh, and be merry! Anyone is welcome to post whatever they want and tag whoever they want for this prompt! :) Or just be at the diner and tag the rowdy group of people high fiving each other for a job well-done. Or maybe buy Taichi a rootbeer to drown his sorrows in. ]

[ Taichi stays on his knees, chest heaving as he pants and holds out the flower, a bright smile on his face as he stares at Hikaru. There's applause, he's sure of it, but despite that he absolutely adores attention and would normally absolutely bask in it, his heart is pounding right now. There are butterflies in his stomach swarming around so fast that he's sure he hasn't felt this nervous since some of his very first auditions when he was a kid.

He stays there, waiting for an answer, hope in his eyes. Hope Hikaru says yes. Hope he wasn't too impatient. Hope he didn't say or do the wrong thing because he wants this. Hope this doesn't come off as the desperate soul Hikaru calls him sometimes.

Please say yes. ]

[ Taichi thanked everyone loudly and acted the part, smiling and paying for what he could afford anyway without being bankrupt for more than one month... but despite that he loved attention, once it was off of him, instead of trying to seek out more of it or trying to be the life of the party, he just goes to lay his head down on one of the tables.

Hikaru didn't say no, but...

Haaa, what was he supposed to do when after all that he didn't say yes, even when he'd been patient for over a month to give him time to think? His chest aches, and he doesn't think he can really get into the party mood. ]

YESSS! We were pretty good, weren't we?!

[Of course, Crow is the loudest one of the group. He yells his excitement as they enter the diner. It was pretty cool to dance with a group. Dancing is not usually his forte, but he practiced hard to make sure his moves were perfect and in sync with the rest of the mob. Even at this moment, he can still feel the adrenaline coursing through his veins and it makes him so antsy, he can't even sit down!

Someone else has to be feeling on cloud nine too. Please relish in this feeling with him, or tell him to shut the hell up. Whatever comes first.]

[ You say 2002-fashion-themed flash mob, Miwako says "hold on, let me go tweeze my eyebrows!" This is exactly her kinda bull shit. She's eating it up. Girl's been hustling her cute little booty off to be able to afford to put tacky stars on that cute little booty, and does not disappoint, stark black and white stripes contrasting her pale pink blouse with a ruffly high neck and hot pink accents (ooh yeah, hot pink stars on black pleather booty cheeks, a whole ass look), pastel pink hair done up like two big Minnie Mouse puffs of cotton candy curls. She even has those fluffy open-toed high-heels that happened in the 2000s — but not because she bought them here for this, because she was sent with them from home, oh god... But with what little she has, she scrounged up a great outfit for the occasion.

She looks dazzled by the whole affair, high-energy and high spirits as usual once they reach the diner. Her eyes are wide and sparkling rather literally, bold black mascara and white lining her waterline opening her brown eyes even more, shimmering pale pink eyeshadow made supremely glittery with some practice of her new light magic (cuz this is what you do when you get a cool magic super power?! just do your makeup with it?! really?!), hot pink lipstick decorating naturally pouty lips in a bright smile... She's ready to party! She's not very loud or obnoxious, polite and friendly in chatting with strangers or acquaintances alike, but boy, she sure is happy to be here. What an exciting way to ask someone out! She's been dating her boyfriend three years and they've known each other since they were born, grew up in the same apartment complex even... They had no chance for such theatrics ever... How romantic! If this guy ultimately says No, Miwako will beat him up. Bam-bam, watch out. Glitter magic girl gonna... ...sparkle at you... antagonistically. Grr! >:c

But until then, she's overjoyed to talk to anyone! With all these contagiously fun vibes buzzing through the air, she's just happy to be here and so down for pizza and soda, all about the good food and good mood~ ♥ ]
