[Looking to get his mind off the second disappearance of his pseudo-brother, along with the disappearance of a good friend, Keith had taken some loooong shifts guarding flying lettuce from poachers. Guarding... flying... lettuce... Would his life ever be normal? Keith was pretty sure not.

Either way, he's grumpy, overworked, and armed with sharp pointy things. Dare you try to steal some lettuce?]

[For someone who rarely gets sick, getting a magical flu when he was already having a rough time was like a kick in the face. Keith was still slowly getting used to the idea that his Galra endurance and durability were a non-factor here, and overworking himself was still sometimes a problem. This made him a prime candidate for getting sick as he was already exhausted and worn down from working too hard.

Being an elemental mage and an animal mage, this made for some pretty hilarious results when he sneezed or coughed. Random full or partial transformations in various types of animals, sudden gusts of wind or bouts of rain, spontaneous combustion of nearby objects, instantly freezing items, unexpected rock slides, lightning strikes... nothing was off limits to how he was being affected by this.]

[Keith kind of understood this to be something of another zombie killing quest, and might have the wrong idea on how to handle this. If someone could help him out and prevent any bad luck, it would be greatly appreciated! That said, Keith was feeling pretty snarly about life in general, so he might be a little reluctant to listen. It would take a decent amount of convincing to get him to see that he was wrong.]

[Traveling through the Forest of the Felled could be pretty rough on its own anyway, but finding a specific flower was always something that made things harder. Keith mainly was going along to make sure anyone in the party was protected, as he was used to doing that kind of thing, but disarming traps was new.

Very new.

In fact, Keith was more likely to actually end up caught by one than disarming it. He was going to need some help...]

[Already in a dark mood because of loss, Keith was a pretty easy target for the sleep demons. The demons were after those feelings of friendship and comradery that were making him feel the losses so sharply, and leaving him with the nightmares of losing everyone all over again. It was easy for Keith to fall into the nightmare of abandonment and being left alone because of his history.

[Keith stared at the now lava floor from where he was sitting on a kitchen counter. He had no idea how this happened, just that it had, and it was making a bad month worse.

He narrowed his eyes and let out a tiny growl of frustration.]

Is it even hot? Like... it's not burning the furniture...

[Keith stared for a second.]

How did you end up with a swarm of killer tomatoes?

[He was ready to fight them off, for sure, but the fact that he was going to be taking down some really angry tomatoes that wanted to eat the people trying to eat them felt like something about of a B-level horror movie here.]
