[Keith kind of understood this to be something of another zombie killing quest, and might have the wrong idea on how to handle this. If someone could help him out and prevent any bad luck, it would be greatly appreciated! That said, Keith was feeling pretty snarly about life in general, so he might be a little reluctant to listen. It would take a decent amount of convincing to get him to see that he was wrong.]

[There's someone fortunately pretty patient hanging around one of the Fear Gorta that Keith might spot, placing food in its waiting bowl and nodding.]

Managed to get this whipped up. It's not much, but you don't wanna eat too much right now either.

[Keith watched Zidane for a moment, curious. The lack of fighting had him holding back for a moment.]

What are you doing?

[Looking over at Keith, he raises an eyebrow.]

Sharing food? Why?

[If he's missing something, better explain. Meanwhile, the Fear Gorta seems to look into its bowl.]

But... it's a zombie?

[Maybe? Keith was definitely confused.]

If it was a zombie, it would've attacked me. Whatever they are, they're not zombies.

[And looking back at the Fear Gorta, it seems to be... wandering away with the bowl in hand.]

... Besides, the undead we've faced before haven't held anything before. If they did, why would it be a bowl of all things? Nah, these guys are begging for something.

Huh.

[Keith watched as it walked away as well, considering that fact.]

So, then... why would someone put up a quest to kill them?

[Zidane shakes his head.]

No idea. Maybe they made a mistake? Considering all the times we've been attacked by undead monsters around here, wouldn't be strange.

Yeah... maybe... we've had it happen pretty often recently.

[Keith took a breath and then sighed.]

I mean, if they're not hurting anyone, I guess it's okay to just let them be.

Yeah, it's time for something new really. I'd say a zombie dragon, but those aren't fun to fight.

[He tilts his head. Don't mind him; he'll think of something, but for now...]

... Something up? Did you hurt a few of them before?

That's not new. That's just combining two things we've recently dealt with.

[Keith grumbled a bit, and then shrugged.]

I might have. But I didn't know...

That's true. It'll just save some time then.

[He chuckles, but then shakes his head.]

Oooh... well, just try making it up to the others.

[Because he has no idea if there's a consequence.]

Mm... I guess... yeah.

[Keith took a deep breath to settle himself, still visibly grumpy... like more so than usual. He crossed his arms.]

There's just a lot to think about, I guess. [He was feeling pretty frustrated with this place at the moment.]

[Like yeah, he's not a normally cheerful-looking individual, but the difference is noticeable.]

... Did you see about getting a title too? I was talking to someone earlier about the food shortage going on. Or, is it something else on your mind?

A title? [Keith shook his head.] No... no, I haven't looked into that. [He sighed a little.] I'm just... frustrated, I guess. This whole place, the situation, the reason we're here... and two friends of mine went missing recently. Like, they're not in Camelot or Avalon at all. It's like they went back into the time steam or whatever it is that happens when people like us just disappear, you know?

And I just want to get all this fixed so we don't have to keep worrying about that.

Ah... [Okay, that makes a little more sense and Zidane nods.]

There's nothing wrong with being frustrated about that. It's true, we're kind of lucky all they go back to is being frozen in time or whatever (even if this is the first time he's hearing about it, but makes sense), but it'd be nice if that wasn't in almost slow but immediate harm's way. Hey, at least you're here to worry about them still even with the distance, and can do something about the situation.

Yeah... I just feel like I'm not doing enough.

[Because they were still here. And Keith was impatient.]

I get that. Unfortunately, sometimes for progress, you gotta wait.

[Which, he doesn't like either, but them's the breaks.]

[Keith closed his eyes, taking a deep breath in thought his nose before letting it out slowly.]

'Patience yields focus.'

[His voice was quiet, but clearly that meant something to him.]

Huh...?

[He raised an eyebrow. So, impatience was a regular occurrence.]

Hm?

[Keith snapped out of his thoughts.]

Oh... it's... It's something my friend told me once. He's always given me really good advice, and it kind of stuck with me. Which is funny because he finally admitted it was kind of a throwaway phrase to just keep me calm in the moment. But, it kind of worked. [He shrugged.] I lean on him a lot, though. And now... he's not here. Again. It's the second time he's disappeared.

[Well, from this place. Shiro had disappeared twice back home, too. Keith was kind of getting tired of it, honestly.]

I mean, for a throwaway phrase, it's a pretty good one. [He flashed a grin, but then went back to a calmer expression.]

There's nothing wrong with missing someone pretty significant like that. And it's not like he's gone forever, he's just... away. You got everything he's told you memorized from the sound of it, and it's time to use those words to take your own steps forward. It sucks, but we can't expect people to be around all the time either.

Yeah, I know.

[Oh, he knew, alright. He'd lost a lot of people in his life before.]

It's just hard.

[He took a sharp breath and shook his head.]

Sorry. I don't mean to dump all this on you.

[He shook his own head, grinning.]

Hey, it's fine. Friends gotta unload sometimes. If you're feeling bad about something, it's not like I can read your mind.
