A - Hungry For More [Network]
[Honestly, the experimental cloning magic seemed like an interesting way to produce more food, especially given all that has happened and the sudden shortage of food. So when a video of a certain “food hack” appears, Tokoyami can’t help but be a little curious to try it. It seems simple enough...]

[However, when the network feed opens up, the video shows a rather disgruntled Tokoyami, standing in his small kitchen. Behind him? An absolute mountain of apples, enough to almost take over the whole space. Every so often, a few of the apples shake and split into two, creating more apples.]

[Tokoyami just looks done.]

If anyone is thinking of trying that viral video of the food replicating… perhaps try something else. I can’t seem to get rid of these apples fast enough.

If someone could help me deal with them, I would greatly appreciate it.

[Dark Shadow pops out from one end of the apple pile, shadowy tears in his glowing eyes.]

Heeelp! Too many apples!!

B - Magic Flu
[Tokoyami had heard there was a flu going around, and had done his best to not catch anything. However, over the course of a few days, Tokoyami begins to feel the onset of symptoms, and before he knows it, he’s undeniably sick.]

[Unfortunately for him (and those around him), it seems as though he has caught the magical variant of the flu. He learns this one night when he has a bad sneezing fit, and his Animal Magic goes absolutely haywire. It’s then that he realizes that he is in desperate need to see a healer to get this sorted.]

[He’ll be on his way to see a healer, but as he makes his way down the street, he’ll be overcome with sneezes along the way, which makes his Animal Magic trigger each time. A sneeze, and he turns into a badger. Another sneeze, and he turns into a bat. A third sneeze, and he’s suddenly a giant panda. A fourth sneeze, and he’s an otter.]

[Hopefully he doesn’t accidentally stumble into your path while in animal form, but knowing his current luck, he just might.]

C - The Floor Is Lava
[The building project seemed like a good place to help out others and get the refugees of Celliwig and Lestari back on their own feet. As an aspiring hero, Tokoyami felt compelled to help in some way, hence why he was here offering his assistance with building the homes. Unfortunately, someone decided it would be fun to turn the ground into lava… fake magic lava, but lava nonetheless.]

[Fortunately for those working with Tokoyami, he’s able to put his magic to good use here. His most obvious way of helping is to transform into a barn owl and fly overhead, letting out a little screech to help guide others over to safe platforms or to help reach hanging ropes. If the objective is too far away, he’ll transform back and use his Dark Magic to manipulate the shadows around them to grab nearby planks of wood and arrange little bridges for people to go across. But he does let out a little huff.]

This is all fun, but it does make the process of building these homes a little difficult.

[When Zidane arrives, Tokoyami will hear a knocking... at his window. Yes, that is Zidane outside - and yes, that would be several floating baskets with him.]

The spell I used replicated the apples. The problem is they keep replicating.

[Even behind him, Bakugo can see the feed, and see how the apples keep copying each other, producing more apples. Dark Shadow looks fretful.]

[H-Holy shit...that's one way to get sick of a favorite food real fucking fast. Ochako tries not to look like she's about to snicker, because. W-Well...come on!! It's kind of funny.]

Ne, Tokoyami-kun, are they safe to consume? If so, you should donate the excess to food pantries helping out the refugees!!

They look like it, but I am a little nervous to try them while they keep... multiplying.

[What if they multiplied while he tried to eat them?]

[Ah...that is an issue, definitely. Ochako makes a face at her camera, trying to think hard, humming.]

Mmh...maybe trying cutting a small piece of one to try first? It'd be so wasteful to just throw them away or something... [Especially when they could, hopefully, be put to good use.]

That is a good idea. I do not wish to waste the apples. I just wish for them to stop multiplying.

[Dark Shadow nods behind him.]

[Had the bat sneezed? No... bear now.

No words yet. That he's shifting so rapidly makes it faster than mind can keep up with. Having caught the tail ends of things, missing the "who" before his shapeshifting magic-change. Of course, he stalls. Blankly staring as bear becomes otter. Still unfamiliar.

He's rooting in place.]

Uhm, [His errands could wait.] are you... having some sort of trouble?

[And should he ask an otter?]

[Maybe it's because he's a bit foggy-headed, but it takes him a moment to realize someone is talking to him. He blinks, looking up... and looking up even more. Oh... right, he's an otter right now. He should probably change back...]

[But as the otter lifts his paws up to channel his magic, he pauses, sniffles... and sneezes again. And this time, he transforms back into Tokoyami. He sniffles, before blinking at who had spoken up.]

...Oh. Hello, Todoroki-san.

[itsmypower]

Tokoyami...?

[Not an illusion? The recognition crawls back to him, and then all at once, he's looking him over as if he's searching for something. An amulet, maybe. Something "cursed". All worries, now. He isn't seeing things. He was smaller. Otter, a second ago. But what a mystery... He doesn't think "illness" just yet, but all that sneezing before now just hadn't seemed normal.

He has to pry.]

What's going on, exactly?

[Brushing past pleasantries. They'd catch up later!]

Is this your magic-type?

[It has been quite some time since they've spoken, hasn't it? Tokoyami can't even remember the last time... but his foggy mind can't really focus on that right now.]

I seem to have caught a cold.

[He sniffles.]

For some reason, it is making my magic... unpredictable.

[Nothing like a good quest at working on some construction. It might not be the most action-packed sort of thing to do but helping with setting up new homes for others feels good. He likes the chance to be able to help in any way that he can. And getting outside is nice too.

... Except when the ground has been turned into magical lava.]

Heeiiii!!!

[Izuku almost stumbles and trips right in when Tokoyami's screech is heard from overhead. He flails an arm and grabs onto the wood frame and hovers there with a huff.]

It's... It's a challenge, that's... that's for sure... Urk.

[blackabyss]

[A challenge in more ways than one, that's for sure. In this form, Tokoyami sees the familiar mop of green hair nearly fall in, and he lets out another screech, flying down to perch near him. In a flash of light, he transforms back into his usual self.]

Be careful, Midoriya-san. I do not know what will happen if someone falls in.

[He hasn't seen someone fall in yet, and he's not sure if he wants to.]

[He stays there latched onto the wooden frame a moment longer as his classmate perches back down from the sky.]

I don't want to find out what would happen...

[Magic lava or not that doesn't seem like a great time.

Izuku finally wobbles back onto his feet and lets go of the wood.]

This might be a tricky project for everyone to work on. You're lucky that you have the ability to fly like that, Tokoyami-kun.

I agree. Such a magic is more appropriate in a dungeon or training mission than a homebuilding project.

[Seriously, why hasn't it been cleaned up already??]

[ Fenton is glad he always has the Gizmosuit with him, since it becomes a challenge for the building project when someone enchants the ground to be lava. He disappears for a moment, and Gizmoduck returns a bit later, using his extending arms to reach nearby ropes.

He's mostly stationary at that point, using this extending limbs to help carry people to safety platforms, as well as create some stepping stones for people to use here and there. But the comment does get a nod from him. ]

I'm not sure if someone thought that people could use a break and wanted to play a game, or they just wanted to make things a bit more difficult for people.

[Tokoyami had seen Fenton around, but he had been in bird form and wasn't able to stop and say hello. He didn't see where Fenton went, but he's surprised to see this large, armoured... bird-man? Tokoyami pauses, taking in the figure.]

...yes. It is indeed difficult.

...pardon me, but are you another hero?

[doctorintern]

[ Fortunately the visor hides his confused expression, until he realizes that he's never met Tokoyami as Gizmoduck before. They'd only talked once, but he hadn't been wearing the suit that day.

He really needs to keep a better track of who he's met as Gizmoduck and who only knows him as Fenton. ]

I am, actually! The name's Gizmoduck.

I see..!

[Tokoyami has never met Gizmoduck, but he remembers Fenton talking about him. It felt like a long time ago... but well, it's a good thing he remembers.]

[His posture straightens, and he nods politely.]

Well, it is an honour to work with you, sir. What do you suppose we should do about all this?

[Gizmoduck is a fully fledged hero, so Tokoyami's going to follow his lead!]
