A. Smashing Pumpkins [Pumpkin Mayhem - Drake/Darkwing]

[At first, Drake Mallard loved the idea of decorating some pumpkins! Nice way to get into the Halloween spirit. So one can join the civilian duck as he paints and/or carves some pumpkins. Of course, most of the designs he uses are based on Darkwing Duck and some of his villains! Join him during the calm before the storm and help him with decorating pumpkins... or when they start to come alive and take the off-duty hero by surprise!

Or later on, after he's made a costume change, Darkwing Duck will do some more patrols of the area and see if anyone else is having any trouble with rogue pumpkins...]

B. Heading Places [Don't Lost Your Head - Darkwing]

[When he hears rumors about the headless horseman, it sounds like a job for Darkwing Duck! ...A particularly scary job, but a job nonetheless!

And so, he ends up showing up to protect some volunteers who are cleaning up bodies in Celliwig. He keeps some distance from the volunteers and watches from the shadows because of his aesthetic. Perhaps someone is staking this out with him, or is one of the volunteers that this duck is trying to protect.

Or skip ahead to when the Headless Horseman makes his entrance, and Darkwing springs into action... starting with his catchphrase, of course!]

I am the terror that flaps in the night!
I am the dental floss that has been dropped into your candy bag!

C. Beddy or Not [Bunker Down - Drake]

[So what happened at the end of last month sure was depressing! He felt some relief in being able to do his part to help save people from Lestari, but especially as a hero, he feels the punch from all of those that weren't saved elsewhere. So he throws himself into some relief work so that he can do something to help the survivors!

And so Drake can be seen at the woodworking sight, where he tries to help out with constructing some bunk beds. One can catch him in one of several scenarios. Tired out from all of his work, he could end up taking one of the unfinished beds for a trial run by passing out on it. Or he could be seen doing some strange work for one bed, like making the carving of a duck head coming from the foot of a bed, and also several imperfectly-shaped wheels off on the side... is he trying to make a Darkwing Duck racecar bed...?]

D. Wildcard

D - Housemate shenanigans!

[doctorintern]

[ Fenton wasn't quite sure what to expect when he'd decided to live with Drake and Della, but honestly it hadn't been so bad. After living with his mother, who had been pretty strict about the house, living with others a bit closer to his age and were a little more lax was kind of nice.

Of course not everything is perfect. And maybe some of his mother's standards and expectations had rubbed off on him a bit, because he found himself making sure that the house was clean and everything was stocked quite often. Not to say that Della and Drake didn't help out, for which he was grateful...maybe he's just thinking a bit too much about.

He considers that as he pushes the front door open, somehow working the handle as his arms are laden with groceries. Atom bounds in after him, making a beeline for his dog bed as Fenton uses his foot to ease the door closed behind him. ]

Helloooooo? Anyone home?

[flapsin]

[Drake, on the other hand, was used to living mostly by himself and setting his own rules. He didn't mind living with the others, but he wasn't completely used to it. ...Especially on top of keeping up with his schedule of fighting crime by night and only sleeping during parts of the day.

So as they come in, Drake's right there on the couch, half-asleep with a pile of snacks.]

Huh? What time is it...? [He yawns as he drifts awake.]

[doctorintern]

[ He struggles a bit to keep all his purchases balanced in his arms, but perks up a little at the voice. ]

Drake? Sorry, did I wake you?

[flapsin]

Wait? No, no, I've been... plenty awake! [He chuckles as he picks up his bag of potato chips.]

What have you been up to? Ooh, are those groceries?

[doctorintern]

Y-Yeah. We were out of some things, so I thought I'd pick up some stuff. [ He takes an unsteady step, and some of the things he's carrying wobble. ] Mind giving me a hand?

[flapsin]

Oh- oh sure! [He drops the chips onto the couch as he rushes over to grab one or two of the bags.]

Sorry, sometimes I forget that you're... not super-strong all the time. I guess this is a different kind of team-up for us! [He chuckles.]

[doctorintern]

[ He laughs a little as he carefully shifts the bags over to Drake, before heading towards the kitchen. ] Yeah, something like that.

Speaking of, though, were you going out on patrol tonight?

[flapsin]

Of course I am! [He nods as he accompanies him towards the kitchen.]

There's always some kind of evil that goes bump in the night, and so shall I! Darkwing Duck is steadily becoming more and more known on social media, and I have to keep up that momentum!

[doctorintern]

Oh really? That's great to hear! [ Hopefully that will help minimize the whole superhero rivalry thing.

He places the bags on the kitchen table before starting to put the groceries away. ] Are you gonna be having dinner here first, or grab something to eat while you're working?

[flapsin]

Thanks! I'm happy to build up a fandom. How's Gizmoduck's popularity looking, by the way? [He says that somewhat innocently, but with the hint of a challenge in his words! Will the rivalry ever fully die out?]

You know, I haven't decided yet! What's on the menu?

[doctorintern]

[ Probably not, though Fenton does hesitate as he tries to think of an answer that would receive the least conflict from Drake. ] Oh y'know...it's looking all right. People like him well enough, anyway.

[ Judging by a few social media accounts that exist solely to talk about Gizmoduck sightings. ]

I'm not sure, actually. I was hoping to see if anyone had any suggestions.

[ And by 'anyone' he really means Drake, because Della...well, she's not allowed in the kitchen without supervision anymore for a reason. ]

You in the mood for anything in particular?

[flapsin]

It does look that way. I do see him being talked about here and there... a little bit! [He responds a little nervously. He's sure Gizmoduck isn't really that popular. Darkwing's supposed to be really up and coming in the world of social media!!]

Um, let's see... maybe pasta? Can't go wrong with some good old-fashioned pasta!

[doctorintern]

Heh, y-yeah... [ They're just gonna...leave it at that. ]

Oh sure, pasta sounds good! I can make that pretty quick. [ Should be enough time to whip that up before Drake goes on patrol. ]

[flapsin]

Excellent! [He claps his hands together with satsifaction, having just set the bags down on the table. Now to start unloading them.]

Quick and simple, yet delicious! A good meal for today's hero on the go! What do we have, spaghetti?

[doctorintern]

Uh... [ He digs around through some of the bags before he pulls out a box of pastas. ] Fettuccine.

Oh, maybe I can make a pesto alfredo sauce...Does that sound okay?

[flapsin]

[He pokes at his beak in though.]

Hm! That could be acceptable. Pasta's pasta, after all! Can't go wrong with that.

[doctorintern]

Excellent! I'll go ahead and get started on that.

[ He'll have to find some protein to add to it too though...hmm... ]

[flapsin]

Excellent! Thanks, Fenton. I'm starting to get hungry just thinking about it!

[While he does that, Drake unpacks more of the groceries.]

Actually, any sides in the mix?

[doctorintern]

[ Fenton is already bustling around the kitchen to gather the rest of the ingredients he'll need. ] Well, if we're having pasta, then garlic bread is a must! And maybe a salad? Do you think we should have something else?

[flapsin]

Ooh, good thinking! Garlic bread really adds to that pasta feeling, and can't go wrong with salad too. Maybe some meat as well? What would really go with this?

[doctorintern]

Hmm...well, chicken or shrimp usually goes well with alfredo. Though chicken might be better with the pesto.

[ Should...it be weird that birds are talking about eating poultry? ]

[flapsin]

[Nothing weird at all, everything about this is completely normal, including Drake's glee!]

Ooh, chicken sounds great! 'Chicken alfredo' just sounds right on the tongue. Let's go with that!

[doctorintern]

[ Perfectly normal. ]

Great! I'll go ahead and get started, and it should be ready pretty soon.

[ Although if he had some help, things would go a lot quicker... ]

[flapsin]

Excellent! Thanks, buddy. You got this!

[The groceries are taken care of, so Drake proceeds to... kick back and relax.]

[ yyyyyyyyyyyyyyup that's what he thought. ]

...Right. Okay.

[ Resisting the urge to roll his eyes, Fenton grabs the ingredients and gets to work. ]
