[He nods. Mogget can understand that at least, and have some respect for it.]

I had ample opportunity to study in the last world I occupied. I've found it to be similar here, so not as much time needed in books. As I'm sure you can understand, I find it difficult to turn the pages.

[ Glancing down at his paws, she nods. ] Yeah, that's fair enough. Honestly, if I didn't have to study, I probably wouldn't either.

[ Sitting in a classroom has been so boring. ]

[He lets out a soft noise. If she's listening carefully enough it could be identified as a chuckle.]

There are ways to make it more interesting, but it depends how much you're willing to make a nuisance of yourself.

[ Chaos might be a bit much...but she certainly isn't innocent all the time either. ]

I have Healing and Dark magic. [ Not much to really be done with the Healing magic, but Dark magic certainly had a lot of potential with all its curses and hexes. ]

Dark magic, hmm...

[He doesn't think healing would be of much use for mischief, but dark magic? Mogget is almost envious. He thinks he would prefer that to the light magic he has himself.]

Are you proficient in it? I'm sure that can be useful.

Uh...I wouldn't say proficient exactly. I'm still learning. But I've managed to learn a few hexes, and can play around with my shadow a bit.

Only your own shadow?

[He looks curious about that one, shown only in the faint shifting of his front paws.]

Not that such a skill isn't without merit, but could you manipulate someone else's?

[ She thinks for a moment. ] To be honest, I haven't really tried with anyone else's shadow. But doing stuff with mine isn't as easy as, say, casting hexes.
