Uniquely Qualified
🧙 WHO: Princess Aurora, her many animal friends, and you!
⚔️️ WHAT: Aurora is going to help with some of the fae and clean up after the storm
đź•’ WHEN: Early January
🗺️ WHERE: All over
⚠️ WARNINGS: None I can readily think of
A. A Knocking We Will Go:
There was, perhaps, some weird twist of fate that Aurora had just been explaining fae, brownies amongst them, and not even a few weeks later, would need to help get rid of them.
Still, she comes up to the next address that was begging for assistance, her eagle owl comfortably sitting on her shoulder, though his size and weight must have surely been uncomfortable, but Aurora gave no indication of pain.
She looked up when she heard someone come towards her, about to knock on the door and paused.
"Oh, is this your home?" she asked, smiling.
B. After the Storm:
Aurora was no stranger to hard work and getting your hands dirty. She had lived her life as a peasant in the woods. Literally, everything was dependent on her and her aunts doing things for themselves from chopping wood for the winter, hatching the roof from leaks, gathering water, and everything else in between.
So something as simple as removing debris and helping with a mess was not that difficult a task.
The princess was currently on top of a roof along with several birds, squirrels, and even a raccoon or two as they were getting large branches from felled trees off the shingles.
As she was headed back to the ladder that had let her up there, though, unfortunately, it had been blown down by the wind.
So as you are going about your day, you may notice a group of animals trying to get a ladder out of the snow and back up against the wall or, you may hear yourself being called to from above.
"Oh! Excuse me, could I trouble you for but a moment?"
C: Wildcard

Rose squeaks to her master that they better get these things leaving at any moment once Aurora is done, so Harry snaps out of his initial reaction and readies himself to escort these bunnies out of the house.

She made a gesture to Harry, trying to signal him that she was about to end the song.

"Well, let's hope that was all the dust bunnies." She smiled. "Now comes the much harder part."
no subject
“Well, rounding up and escorting those bunnies was a lot faster than I originally thought, too,” he notes as they get back inside the house and inspect it for any holes or pathways the brownies might be at, “With the current mood the brownies are in now, we might need to think more creatively and find their hiding spots quickly.”

“Hey Aurora, maybe I can move the furniture around to find whatever holes they may have made on the walls and you can ask your animal friends to find the ones where the brownies are hiding at,” he proposes the plan to Aurora, it might be simple, but they have to start from somewhere to catch those pesky brownies.

"Our brave little mouse shall go."
no subject
Luckily as he is searching, he finds a couple of mouse size holes on the walls after moving the furniture from the walls. The little mouse quickly gets to work, zipping into the holes as it begins to look for the location of where the brownies are hiding at.

Aurora moves close to the wall, listening. There are some loud squeaks and she points to the wall perpendicular to them, putting a finger to her lips so as to not let the brownies on to their new knowledge.
no subject
At the same time, he doesn’t try to talk too much that would inform the brownies of any new information they might have the moment he sees Aurora’s signal not to say anything. What is the reason why the brownies and dust bunnies are making a ruckus in the houses?
no subject
"I am not sure I can lure them out with singing," she offered. "We could try naming them, or even clothing them, perhaps. That will sometimes cause them to leave."

She reached out and gave his arm a squeeze before she looked about and her animal friends gestured for her to follow them and she disappeared in the direction of the kitchen.

He continues to hear plenty of giggles from the walls, though he didn’t say a single word as he listens to them intently and not losing any concentration, with Rose joining in the listening sessions as they wait for Aurora to come back from her kitchen search.

She sets the milk in the middle of the floor and takes the jar of honey and dipper. From the hole in the floor to the bowl, she lays out a thin trail of honey.
They all hear the giggling from the brownies stop and pause and Aurora pulls Harry away from the wall, standing parallel to it so that if the brownies came out, she and Harry would not be seen.
no subject
As they both waited out, Harry could hear something from the wall holes, could it be the brownies coming out to see what they have just received?
no subject
Then it squealed and hurried back to the hole. There was whispering and suddenly one after another came out of the hole. Some dipped long fingers into the honey to lap it up until they got to the milk.
Aurora leaned over to Harry and whispered softly in his ear.
"Now would be a good time to let them and the milk be floated out the door, don't you think?"
no subject
Without losing a sweat and his concentration, he begins to slowly levitate the brownies and milk off the ground and escort them out to the door and onto the front lawn while making sure he doesn’t fall off or trip on his way out. Hopefully the brownies don’t mind as they focus on the milk.

"We did it, Harry!"
no subject
“Gee thanks, Aurora. That’s brilliant teamwork we got in here,” Harry happily cheers on as the brownies try to figure out what happened while they had their snacks, “I hope that the owners of this house will sleep in peace tonight without any more noises.”
no subject
She turned and asked one of her animal friends to bring her a wet rag.
"We should work together more often, Harry."
no subject
Wrap!
She opened the door, the brownies now scattered to seek a new place to live.
The end
“Absolutely, let’s go back to the inn and take a break, we definitely deserve a break after all that wrangling of the mischievous dust bunnies and brownies,” he closes the door behind him after he and Aurora left the house and head back for the inn after a long day’s work.
