[open] summer's turn is nigh
🧙 WHO: Robyn and YOU!
⚔️️ WHAT: Various prompts, including quests (mostly animal-related ones).
🕒 WHEN: Throughout the month of August
🗺️ WHERE: Around Camelot, in or around Broceliande
⚠️ WARNINGS: None; will add warnings if anything comes up.
A. Don't Treep, Man

[After the undead incident last month, Robyn resolves to help out with repairing the damage caused in the farmland. As such, she's been tasked with rounding up stray sheep and herding them back to their owner's farm. Robyn's never done shepherding before, but she's watched shepherds at work plenty of times and she has her animal magic to help. If you're in the farmland at all, you may see her at the back of a flock of sheep with a look of concentration on her face; she's using her magic to make sure the sheep go where they're supposed to without any of them breaking away from the group. When one of them starts to stray, she uses the shepherd's crook she borrowed to gently nudge it back into place.]
Stay with your friends, alright? We don't want you or anyone else gettin' lost again.
B. Invasive Species

[Robyn already spends a lot of time in the forest of Broceliande, and she was taught how to be a hunter, so this quest should be fitting for her. However, she's trying to focus more on getting the woodland creatures away from the lake and back into the woods, not wanting to disrupt the Carcinuses too much.
Unfortunately, she inevitably finds herself face to face with one, its scorpion tail pointed at her and snapping its claws menacingly. Robyn is firmly standing her ground, with her wolf familiar Rowena at the ready to defend her if need be, but her voice is still clearly nervous.]
Please...go back to the lake. I don't want to hurt you, but you should go home. You can't keep attackin' the animals.
[The Carcinus snaps its claws again, and all Robyn can hear with her animal magic is its overwhelming want for food, with no other logic behind it.]
Please, just go back...! [Robyn points her crossbow at the Carcinus. She's reluctant to kill an animal without the purpose of eating it, but if she has no choice...]
C. I'm Running with the Wolves Tonight

[Despite having to deal with problems on Broceliande, that doesn't stop Robyn from going there most days or nights in her wolf form, simply to enjoy herself. She'll never get over having her sense heightened and being able to run and jump much faster and higher than she could as a human.
On the off chance that you're in Broceliande at night, you may hear the sound of howling. Following the sound will lead you to two wolves calling out to any other wolves that might be in the area; one is golden and covered with markings, likely someone's familiar, while the other one is small and slender.]
D. Wildcard
[Feel free to hit up this post with any other scenarios!]

These things just won't stop, will they...

In protest of such a plan, the Cat returns to her and lays himself down on top of one shoe. ]

Alright then, what do you think I should do now?

He lets out another piercing yowl, and there's an answer rustle of commotion as nearby prey animals make a run for it. There's no need to confront the Carcinuses one by one when you can handle creatures in groups. ]

Robyn cups her hands around her mouth and does her best imitation of a wolf howl. It won't be as convincing as when she does it as an actual wolf, but it's worth a try...and sure enough, it does startle some animals who start running in the direction of the woods.]

Returning to his own task (he wanted to shame the wolf, not beg for help) he follows his nose to a burrow hidden at the base of a bush, and paws the ground over it to avoid collapsing the entrance. He continues to yowl as though in the throws of battle. The moment he leaves the burrow a family of bunnies races out of it and into the deeper woods. ]

In a flash of gold, she shifts into her wolf form and starts howling along with Rowena. Soon enough, more animals start running towards the woods to escape from the potential threat of wolves.]

A problem for another time. Now he races through the forest, going farther than the wolves which are likely more alarming for most of the wildlife than a housecat some distance away. ]

Go, now! Or those crabs will come after you!
[The badger takes the hint, waddling off as fast as it can towards the woods.]

He stops by Robyn, sits, and uses a paw to clean his head while he speaks. ]
Are we quite finished here?
no subject
[Robyn is somewhat preoccupied with listening for any stray animals that might still be in the area, so it takes a moment for her to realize that the Cat just spoke to her.]
...wait. You could speak the whole time?

[Even if she was able to figure things out in the end with some prodding, Robyn still feels a little annoyed that the Cat never bothered to say anything at all.]

[ He stretches luxuriously and yawns. ]
You should return to the city. You've been working for quite some time.
no subject
[She starts to follow her familiar towards the city, but then she turns back to the Cat.]
...thank you. For your help. [Robyn may have been a bit annoyed, but she's not ungrateful.]
no subject
You're quite welcome.
